“Things seemed to go well when we left our two pups a few days for the first time. She had lots of things there for them to play with and do. She had a full house of dogs when we got there drop-off day so it was a bit chaotic and one of our pups was very nervous about it, but seemed happy when we came to get her. Wendy was gracious enough to stay up late on pickup day when our arrival window ended up later than expected, which we were very appreciative for. Daily photos and updates were extremely appreciated as well. She was very good with communication.”

“We had a good dog meeting at first, so just loved that. Once Layla was dropped off I was given update photos. So I like that part a lot. She seemed happy once she was comfortable. I will be using them again.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Randi and Steven, who treated our dog as if she were their own. They provided us with regular updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely book with them again.”

“Melissa did an amazing job and we had a stress free time away knowing that both of our pups were in such great hands! Not only did she give us daily updates, but she sent us daily pics to ensure us they were doing just fine! We will for sure be using her for all of our dog-sitting needs! Thank you so much, Melissa!”

“Another great stay at Katherine's home. My Raskull had an awesome time. He had lots of play time and Katherine made sure she gave my baby his daily allergy pill.. thanks again, it's hard to find someone that treats your pup like their own. Katherine does.”

“This was my first time using a boarding site and I'm glad I did!! Kristen was very nice and professional. The house was pet friendly and from the first meeting I knew she was the right pick. She was very attentive to my dog's special needs and the personal attention of sending updates was amazing. If you are ever in this area I highly recommend her.”

“Cassie did a awesome job keeping me updated and lots of pictures. My dog Lena had a great time meeting and playing with her new friends. I thought she would be sad and all clingy on me when I got back from my trip. She was happy when she saw me but then acted like I never left So she obviously was telling me she had a great time!! Thanks you Cassie”

“Celeste was so sweet with my baby! 💕 She was very communicative and patient as Ella was a little shy at first. I could tell she cared about her as her own. Definitely booking with Celeste again!”

“Lillian treated our dogs like family. She's the best! Our 2 Doodles can be a handful at times but she has the experience and the personality that make her very good at what she is doing. We received updates and pictures that put our minds at ease while we were so far away. We love our dogs and we will user Lillian any time we need them to be watched.”

“Tia and her family were very good to our Darcy , we are rebooking with her soon . She sent pictures . And I felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with her . Would highly recommend .”

“Best Rover sitter to date! Candy was so affectionate and playful with my two French Bulldogs. It was clear in every update and photo that she loved my pups as if they were her own. She provided great communications and a smooth drop off and pick up. Above all, her professional yet easy-going and incredibly welcoming personality made me feel immediately comfortable leaving my pups in her care. Thank you Candy! Sarge and Scout hope to see you again next time!”

“This was my first time leaving my dog with someone outside of family for an extended period, so I was naturally a little nervous. Jan made the entire experience wonderful! Her home was beautiful, clean, and had a great yard for the dogs to enjoy. She kept me reassured throughout my trip with regular pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious that my dog was well cared for and loved while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Jan to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you for making my first Rover experience such a positive one!”

“Aryn is an absolute GEM!! She’s very responsive and super sweet! My Tara is a senior dog but can sometimes have the energy of a pup. Ms. Aryn took such great care of her and sent updates. I can’t thank Aryn enough for how sweet and patient she was with Tara! We will definitely be back!!”

“Agnes and her family are so sweet. My little Lily had a blast with Daisy. They played together everyday she was with them. I enjoyed the pictures and updates. I definitely recommend Agnes for your furbaby and will be using her again.”

“Nicole is a thoughtful and attentive sitter. She followed our directions perfectly and communicated with us all along. Our senior kitties were in excellent hands during our vacation. Will use her services again.”

About: I worked as a kennel tech for a dog trainer for 2 years and have been volunteering with a dog rescue that saves abused and neglected dogs for the past 6 years. These experiences, as well as raising my own dogs, have given me the knowledge to work with most dogs, but my passion is working with fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs. Working on their time to gain their trust is my specialty and passion. I have experience working through basic obedience, counter conditioning, confidence building, muzzle training, gear shyness, and cooperative care. I also have experience working with dogs that require more intensive care due to feeding routines (such as making homemade food or strict feeding schedules with medications) and grooming maintenance (frequent or routine baths due to coat type or skin conditions). Know that under my care, your pup will be with someone who understands them as an individual and can meet them where they are at. For Walks/Drop Ins: I have pretty varied availability throughout the day on weekdays due to my work schedule. For Housesitting: I typically need to be out of the house anywhere from 4-10 hrs depending on my shift at work. Your dog's comfort as well as yours are my top priorities, so I do require a meet and greet before any service I provide. This allows me to meet your pet and see their behavior before a service, and lets you see how your pet feels around me. I provide daily updates with pictures, with the ability to provide more frequent updates at your request. I also strictly follow any instructions and routines laid out for me regarding a pet's care.

“Skyla was so nice and flexible! I originally contacted her for something else which she didn’t have availability for but she offered me a bunch of other options and we were able to work it out! I will definitely use her again if needed and recommend her to anyone else!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs ever since I was 11 years old. I continue to take care of my friends and parents animals when needed. I personally have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I have a geriatric, 16 yo, dachshund/beagle mix, so I can change dog diapers and give meds if needed. I have a full time job and work Monday-Wednesday, so Thursday through Sunday I am very flexible on the needs of my clients. If I have other obligations on those days, my availability will always be up to date. I have 2 dogs for your fur baby to play with, a large fenced yard, and can crate your fur baby if needed. I have an extra large crate if your fur baby needs it.
“Jan is the best sitter EVER!! I’ve used Rover multiple times over the years and she truly stands out. She’s my new go-to! Very sweet, attention to detail, communicates well, sends pics, and best of all - she took great care of our baby (Panther). She really has a heart for animals. 🤗”

“Melissa, Thank You!!!! The care and warmth provided to Cat made our trip away more enjoyable. Your continual updates after each visit provided assurance of your care, and assurance our feline was eating well during our absence. Your care and ability will undoubtedly have us selecting your services again and again. Thank you!! John and Dawn Keeler”

“Janette is the best! She took care of our two kitties at late-notice and they warmed up to her pretty quickly even though they usually don’t like new people! We will definitely use Janette again in the future. Thanks so much!”

About: I’ve loved cats since I was 10 and am now a proud cat parent myself! I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, caring for cats and kittens of all breeds and personalities. I truly love caring for cats and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved always.

“Kimberly took great care of my two cats. I appreciate the time she spent playing with them, they looked well taken care of when we got home. I also appreciate the regular updates and photos and video she sent.”

“Lauren took care of our cat Tesla who is very shy with visitors. During our meet and greet she was very cautious and sweet when meeting Tesla. I could tell that she is very comfortable around animals, even when they are more reserved with new people. She kept us updated with pictures and comments while we were away. I would definitely recommend her and would ask her to take care of our cat again!”

“Kallie was great! I got detailed updates about my Tiny & she even went above & beyond and brought in my packages even though I didn’t mention this on our meet & greet. Tiny is pretty shy & hesitant around other people so it’s always a great sign when I receive photos of him feeling comfortable around a sitter. 10/10”

“Jennifer was awesome! She was intentional about being in time, when she couldn't be, she was super apologetic, where most people I would have never known. She takes her responsibilities very seriously. Your pets are in good hands.”

“Julie was great. She checked in every time she was home with the boys. She even brought our trash can in for us so we didn’t have to leave it in the garage full while we were gone. Very sweet person and the kitties loved her! We will be using her services again in the future! Thank you, Julie!”

“Kristen was an excellent dog sitter! She and her family were very kind enough to allow me to tour their home where my dog would be staying. I am very impressed with how responsive she was in our communications. Also, I appreciated the photo updates of how my dog was doing! Will definitely be visiting again in the near future.”

“She cares just like family. She takes such good care of Quatro 💞. He loves going to her home. It’s clean and tidy which is very important to me. It brings me peace that I know that Quatro is being taken care of in such an excellent manner.”

“Janette was so great with Ms. Doug! As the reviews stated she was very sweet and accommodating as well as so many pics and videos to ease my nerves. (Only nervous because Doug hasnt been away from me much since her rescue) I would 1000% recommend Janette for anything you need. Doug was in such a great tail wagging mood when I picked her up and I got the chance to take the kiddos to Six Flags without worrying if she was ok!”

“We are so happy to have found Juli on Rover! Our dogs couldn’t have been happier to snuggle all day with her, and the feeling seemed mutual! She also took care to make sure they had expended some energy before our long drive back home. She sent lots of pics and videos, which helped us feel at ease! Will 100% use again when we visit San Antonio next!”

About: I've been working with animals for the past 5 Years! I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. I love my job to this day and still care for dogs and cats at my current job! I'm currently a stay at home mom for my babies so I am always home a ready to provide care! I usually (as weather permits of course) take a morning walk between 8-10am with my dog and my boarding friends, hang out around the house and backyard until our evening walk before bed around 8-10pm after the sun is down! I am constantly boarding dogs in my home so I do have extra crates if needed otherwise I only have 1 dog of my own who is a St. Bernard and is pretty lazy so he will be there to keep my boarding dogs company but also knows to nap if the other dogs need a break from playing. When I go to clients homes I always find a way to occupy my time with my clients and keep my attention on those animals!

“Pamela is the best! I am so glad I booked with her and I highly and strongly recommend her! My dog has anxiety, barks at everything she sees and hears and I did not think she would get along with any other animals. However, Pamela introduced her to another adorable, sweet furbaby and they were all like bffs!! Lol. I was so impressed and I couldn’t believe my dog can actually be around/near other dogs. It made my work trip stress-free not having to worry about her and I couldn’t be more thankful! She responded so quickly, cares about my furbaby like she was her own, spoiled her & gave her all the attention my needy baby wanted lol. Pamela also sent me updates, took cute pics/videos, and she was so sweet and accommodating! My dog can’t obviously talk lol but it seems like she loved every minute being there and had the best time. I almost think she did not want me to take her home lol. If only she was in the city I live, I would definitely be booking more days with her. I couldn’t thank her enough!!”

“Thank you so much Nereyda. So happy that Bo gets to stay with you when we come to San Antonio. I know he feels right at home and he’s so well taken care of. Super grateful as always!”

“Cindy is so great to work with! She made both Archie and I feel comfortable right away. Her home is well fenced and dog friendly. I think Archie knew right away that she is a dog lover. :) We will definitely be returning. PS: She sent me an adorable photo of my pup enjoying his play day.”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet. I don’t just stop by to feed them or take them on a walk, I spend time getting to know their personality, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ve been caring for pets since I was in high school through dog walking, pet sitting, and house sitting, and I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters. As a pet owner myself to both a French Poodle Toy and a cat, I understand how important it is to have someone you can completely trust with your furry family member. I’m dependable, patient, and detail-oriented. Whether it’s sticking to your pet’s routine, cleaning up after them, refreshing water bowls, scooping litter boxes, or giving them plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and well cared for until you return. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m currently earning my graduate degree through a fully online program, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available every day for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight care. Because my classes are online, I can easily adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs and make sure they receive the time, attention, and care they deserve. I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe, comfortable, and loved, so I always do my best to keep them on their normal routine. In my client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications (if needed and instructed), and any special routines your pet is used to. I also make sure they receive plenty of affection, companionship, and exercise based on their personality and energy level. I treat every home with the same respect I would my own by keeping things clean, secure, and tidy. I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for until you return home.
“Thalia was very kind and was willing to keep the house at a comfortable temperature for our winter dogs in the summer heat. We received lots of pictures and our dogs had a great time with her. Would definitely rebook/recommend.”

About: Hello to all my fellow puppy lovers!! I am located in the quaint small town of Schertz TX. I have 19+ years of personal and pet sitting experience. I started out on Rover in 2019 in New Braunfels, just a hop skip and a jump from here. I cannot wait to meet all your puppers and provide such sweet care to all of them. I love all puppy sizes, shapes, smells :). (I do have breed preferences but that is due to our 1.5 year old baby and am just extra cautious. We have a fenced backyard that does have a pool and 2 little dogs for them to roam around with and play. If they love to play catch they might have some competition with my pup 🐶 Holly!! I would love to take your loved ones out for long walks or play with them in your home. I also provide overnight services in MY home. Right now I can house about 2-3 pups for overnight visits or even a few days if you need to go out of town... but with your help I can grow that to house many more and make some great friends along the way. Short on time? I am willing to pick up your pet from you to give you maximum time to get your errands done or be a with your family away from your home and still make sure your puppies stay on their schedules! Anything you need... I am here!! I am currently working part time and full time momma. Super flexible just plan ahead with me and we can make anything work. We have a dog park near as well for extra exercise if they don’t already get worn out running around the backyard. We will keep to their schedule as much as possible. Same eating times, bedtime, this type of thing. We always provide a safe space and monitor on cameras when we can’t be in the yard directly.
“My pup loved her home away from home. She gets the wiggles when I mention "Celeste." It's reassuring Brandy was loved on and cared for just as she would be in my home. I won't take her anywhere else.”

“My Bailey's home away from home!! Ok so a little background- my dog Bailey is a rescue who was physically abused by her previous owner. For this reason, she is utterly terrified of new people because she has a natural distrust for people following early life events. Kristen and her family originally spent time coming to my house to walk Bailey and spend time with her, and Bailey had been doing well with the new dog walkers! However, after learning about Bailey's concerns, Kristen thought it may improve Bailey's situation to have her spend the day at doggy daycare, and let me tell you, she and her family have done an amazing job taking care of Bailey!!! I've never seen her so happy every day when I come to pick her up (and probably even more happy to be dropped off :P). It's only been a few weeks and I can already tell Kristen and her family are making her feel at home away from home, and carefully allowing her to interact with other dogs and humans when Bailey is ready. I've been absolutely overjoyed seeing her improvement in socialization skills, and, really, just how happy and comfortable she is; makes my day! On a side note, following several meetings with a Behavioralist, I'm actively training her to help improve her anxiety and fear toward people. Kristen understands how important this is and has been ensuring Bailey is trained (in the same way I'm training her for continuity sake) while at doggy daycare, since I don't have the opportunity to train her several times throughout the day during the work week. Her obedience has improved, and better yet, she's starting to see new people with a different outlook; she's excited to make new friends! Thank you Kristen!!”

“Cassi is amazing ! I am pretty picky when it comes to walking my puppy a certain way and she didn't hesitate to take the time to learn the different cues and commands I use so that she can help reinforce his training while on walks with her. She kept me updated throughout the visit and I was at ease knowing my baby was in good hands while I was away.”

About: Took care of both my dog and cat together, they have since passed. My favorite part of the day was coming home to them and giving each of them play time and a walk for my dog. My husband and I just moved here. I am a new mom to a 4 month old baby and would love an excuse to love on some animals and get some extra steps in the day as well. I do not have anything animals of my own so your sweet animal will be my focus during our time together! I will walk your pup or play with your cat and clean up after them as needed.

“Lauren was very approachable and I am so thankful that she walked my furbaby Kavik last minute. Kavik really needs exercise and he really did have a great one. I recommend her to everyone, and I will get her again for sure!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Randi and Steven, who treated our dog as if she were their own. They provided us with regular updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely book with them again.”

“I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!! Tammy was great! We are truly blessed to have met her and to have had her watch our fur babies. We were able to enjoy our time with our family without any worries. She kept us informed of all the fun they were having with pictures and videos. One less worry for us to think about the next time we have to go out of town. Thank you Tammy for all you did for us!”

“My very senior pet was taken care of. He struggled a bit at the beginning of the sit but adjustments were made to better accommodate his needs/personality and he became more at ease. I received regular updates and photos that showed him thriving. Will definitely book again with Sashalyne.”

“Her family provided amazing care of Atlas. She kept in communication throughout his entire stay. My baby is terrified of storms, she kept him calm and relaxed while away from home. 5 stars isn’t enough. Thank you so much for the care you showed Atlas.”

“Our dogs like our second children. Isabel and William were very friendly and kept me updated during our whole trip. It was very reassuring to get text messages about how they were doing and a couple of pictures were included, too. Our dogs enjoyed their sleepover, ha ha!”
“Fantastic sitter! Would definitely rebook and recommend to others. One of my dogs has difficulties with new people but within 2 min she was happy and comfortable in their home. They were clearly very attentive to the dogs and focused on keeping them as happy as can be. A perfect backyard and a very friendly environment.”

“Your dog is in great hands with Ashley & Christopher. When Pocho is near their house you can see his excitement. They are kind and communicative so you can relax knowing your dog is well attended and enjoying his own vacations.”

“When we went to drop off Chato with Cindy for the first time, she was so nice and friendly that we felt comfortable leaving him with her. She send us some pictures of him and messages on how he was doing. Which gave peace of mind. When we picked up Chato the following day he looked happy and Cindy said that he did good with his stay there. We noticed that Cindy was happy with Chato and we feel comfortable enough that we would leave him with Cindy again for our future getaways. Cindy was great! Once again Cindy thank you for take caring such good care of our baby.”

“Pamela can watch my baby anytime! While I was gone I barely had reception but whenever I got one, there were updates about Chase. Pics and comforting words so that I wouldn't worry too much. Chase came back happy to see us but not disengaged or traumatized. You can see she truly has a love for pets. Whenever I need a sitter, I'm looking for Pamela as my 1st option. Thank you so much for putting my family at ease.”
