Caring for your loved ones at home, while they do their normal routine and activities, to be cozy and comfortable. About: My mission is to provide reliable, attentive care and treat every pet like they’re my own! I have grown up with both cats and dogs, granting me more experience and a deeper love for all animals! I have experience caring for pets of different ages, personalities, and needs, including energetic puppies and senior pets. I work to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away by keeping consistent routines, giving plenty of attention, and providing regular updates for peace of mind. I recently just finished my spring semester of school and set to start online summer classes on May 26, so I have plenty of free time to look and care after your furry babies! I care for every pet like they’re my own and always try to keep them comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. In a client’s home, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, feeding, fresh water, and any needed medications while also keeping the home clean and respected.

“Mercy was very nice and set up a meet and greet with us and our dog before we booked the dates. Was very thoughtful of our pet and set pictures through the week.”

He followed all the instructions perfectly and gave us the peace of mind we needed on our vacation! Would recommend Patrick to anyone who needed someone to pet sit their cat!”

About: I've spent several years caring for both dogs and cats through pet ownership and pet sitting, and I truly love getting to know each animal's unique personality. I've owned dogs of all sizes—from a corgi to a Saint Bernard—so I'm comfortable with pets of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I have an extensive history of pet sitting for a variety of clients while in high school and in college, and for the past several months, I've also been pet sitting for physicians in the San Antonio Medical Center, and I've really enjoyed helping give them peace of mind while they're away! I'm happy to help with just about any pet-sitting need, whether that's drop-in visits, daycare, overnight stays, or house sitting. I'm also open to caring for all kinds of animals, not just dogs and cats! My goal is always to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away, and to keep you updated so you know they're in good hands. I can't wait to meet you and your pets and give them the same love and attention I'd give my own! I am currently a medical student, but have a pretty light course load this semester! I am typically in class some days of the week from 8am-12pm but am pretty available otherwise! I have no problem stopping by before and after my classes if needed on the days that I am in class (typically 3/7 days of the week). I am very flexible with whatever the rules/ preferences for each pet may be within their house! I understand that each family has different routines with their pets and have no problem doing my best to accommodate them! I also prefer to keep in frequent contact with the owners I have sat for in the past with texts and photos to send updates!
“Paige was wonderful with Maisie, she’s a rescue dog and very nervous. Paige was very patient. We will be booking Paige again so that Maisie can get to know her better in order for her to house sit when we need to be away over night.”
“Kat was fantastic with completing drop-in visits for my cats throughout the week. Provided excellent care and very flexible with my last-minute scheduling and needing care. My cats were content and well-cared. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Mandi was great! She took much care with our pets and it was much appreciated. She checked in before we left, took pictures throughout each of her visits and was awesome with them.”
“Eva took great care of our kitty. The photos and updates she sent consistently showed how engaged and attentive she was, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was friendly, professional, and clearly very experienced with pets. We would absolutely book with her again for future needs.”

“JP is one of the sweetest and reliable sitter I have ever had. My little Precious really warmed up to and I couldn’t be happier. I will book him every time if he is available and I highly recommend him.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Leon Valley
Addison was amazing with my dogs! Words cant express enough how greatful I am to have found her, she was patient, kind, affectionate and my dogs loved her. She is truly am asset to this company and deserves nothing less than 100 stars and a raise! I highly recommend her and hope to have her watch the fur babies again when we are out of town. Thanks a million times over Addison for just being you, Amazing!!!
Sonia went above and beyond in watching our pets. When presented with several unforeseen difficulties, including leaving the wrong key and my cat not eating, Sonia went out of her way to communicate and brainstorm with me to find the best solutions and care for my fur babies. Sonia even made an extra trip out to my apartment to ensure my pets got fed, went potty, felt loved, and had good playtime. Sonia did an amazing job with my girls and I would highly recommend her to others!

We had a wonderful experience with Sophia! She came twice a day to check on our dog, Loki, and was always punctual, attentive, and communicative. Loki is usually very timid around new people, but he warmed up to her almost immediately, which speaks volumes about how caring and trustworthy she is. It gave us great peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I would definitely recommend her for daily check-ins, pet sitting, or any pet care needs!

Ryann saved the day! On a 2 day notice that our original sitter wasn’t going to be able to take care of our dogs. I messaged Ryann the same day to do a couple drop in visits over the weekend and she came through despite prior commitments. We owe you so big. Thank you.

Brenda was an absolute professional when taking care of my pets. She was on time, caring and went above and beyond my expectations. We will 100% ask for her help in the future. She was wonderful. Thank you for taking care of our babies! It takes sooooo much pressure off of leaving them knowing someone so kind is caring for them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
