My dog is being trained as a service dog but was also rescued from a shelter and does not trust people easily. Hector asked what commands he knew, what was the best way to approach him, didn't flinch when my baby got anxious during their meet and greet. He won my furbaby over so completely that the next morning when Hector showed up for the first walk, Carrick quietly sniffed and accepted him and was more than happy to go on a walk with him. Hector also discovered the best way to walk Carrick on their first walk - I've never seen him come back from a walk so happy before! I cannot recommend Hector enough. About: I have lived and worked with pets my whole life, but have been a professional pet care provider for 8+ years. I spent the last 6 years at a doggy daycare in Austin, providing professional care for dogs of all kinds. I am experienced with administering medication, orally and via injection. I am also comfortable and experienced with handling pets that need special attention for behavioral or health reasons. I have two senior kitties of my own, but I love all animals, and enjoy getting to bond with and care for other people's pets. In addition to dogs and cats, I am also experienced with other pets, including reptiles and amphibians, smalls mammals, birds, and farm animals. I will be working full-time starting mid-October. I am still able to care for pets that are adjusted to schedules of parents who work full-time. I am happy to wake up early to accomodate morning routines before i have to leave for work. Saturday's are half-days, and I won't be working Sunday's, so my weekend availability is more flexible! I am living in a rental property, and unfortunately cannot care for pets in my own home. About: I've taken care of pets since my early twenties and have even helped potty train both my dogs as well as family members'. Most recently I have cared for 2 senior dogs and a Great Dane with several disabilities. I work from home and have ample time to provide care and attention to my pups. I volunteer with my daughter at the SAHS, so I will be very comfortable around your "fur babies". I can give 30-60 min walks, do drop-ins just to feed & play with the little guys. No worries! - I am also a dependable / reliable overnight (house) sitter, as well as daily drop-in doggy care ... for those little "curve balls" life throws us sometimes. About: I’ve taken care of puppy’s-senior dog, I had my dog since she was a puppy and she is now a senior dog she lives at my dads house because I moved out about a year ago. I’m good taking dogs on walks, playing, belly rubs!! I am currently a part time babysitter so I have extra time on my hands! I love going to the animal shelter and taking out the dogs to play, so this would be great for me. I would make sure to treat them as my own read instructions and follow them to a tea. Give them lots of belly rubs and snuggles, playtime and lots of times around me.
