“Reliable, on time and very communicative as always :) I know my Lalo is always taken care of and I really appreciate that he lets him run wild and free off leash at the dog park and all the precious photos and videos that I’m sent ♥️ I’ve been going thru a really hard time having to work full time and visiting my brother in the ICU and I can’t thank him enough for taking on my Husky who can be a handful 😅 couldn’t be more thankful 😭”

“Elizabeth is AWESOME! She was kind enough to bring a new toy to the meet and greet with my pup. She updated me with pictures and videos of her dog walking session, and followed all my instructions perfectly. I know my pup is safe and happy with Elizabeth and I couldn't be more grateful.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a kid, and for the past 4 years I've been in jobs that include dog care such as a kennel attendant, dog bather, and dog groomer I work from home, as does my fiance so someone will be home at all times to take care of your fur baby. We have plenty of time in our schedules for walks, playtime, anything they need If it is my home they will have access to the entire place, they will get constant attention and love, potty breaks at least every 2 hours, but sooner if needed.
“Hector treats each dog as his own while walking them. I had someone's loose dog attack my own and Hector protected my fur baby as if he were his own. He loves and protects him wholly each time Hector takes him out. Look no further - there is no better dog walker available in the city right now.”

“Quinten always does PERFECT with my dog. I unexpectedly had to stay at work late, I messaged Quinten asking if he can walk Max and he immediately responded & came to walk him. He takes the best pictures of him during there walks as well. I will always recommend & trust Quinten to walk Max when no one is home to do so.”

“We love Marla, she takes such good care of our pup and she is very accommodating to our changing schedule! It puts our minds at ease to know someone comes to visit Layla while we are at work and we know she looks forward to Marla’s visits :)”

“Georgia was a delight to work with - caring, considerate, and conscientious. Gidget loved their time together and we will definitely rebook when the opportunity rises. .”

About: Hi there! I took a break using Rover for a few years, but I’m back to caring for your pets! I am in an apartment but I work from home so your doggie wouldn’t ever be alone. My balcony faces directly to our dog park and would be easy access for lots play time. Plenty of bathroom breaks, exercise and fun when your pup stays with me. If your dog is more of a relaxing type, that works just as well for me! Your dog will become a part of my family while they board with me! I also use Rover when I need a sitter for my dog and I LOVE my sitter, so I wanted to provide the same care my dog gets. I will always treat your dog as I would want my dog cared for. If you have any questions, just let me know! I work full time but from home so your pet won’t be left alone. We’ll have a morning walk and plenty of time together inside during this summer heat. I have extra water bowls and plenty of dog toys to keep them happy. If you prefer drop in visits at your home, you’ll get plenty of pictures and I stick the rules and guidance your give me.
About: I have had dogs for most of my life. We have 2 chocolate labs that love to play. One is 9 years old and the other is 5. They love meeting new friends at the local dog park. We have had both of them since they were puppies, and they are part of the family. I am currently a stay at home mom. We recently relocated to Texas, and are loving it so far. After teaching full-time for the past several years, it's great taking a break and being home again. I am excited to be able to structure my day around pet care, and look forward to meeting you all! I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly Labradors to keep your pups company. We have a dog door from the house into the yard, so they can come in and out as they please. Our kids have been raised around dogs and love to help and play with them as well.

About: I know animals are an important part of our lives, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment while you’re away and to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is being looked after with attention and care!!! 🐶🐈⬛ I’m currently a college student on summer break, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and a lot of free time. That means I can be available for walks, check-ins, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and making sure pets get the attention and care they need throughout the day. I know how important pets are to the people who love them, so I’ll always do my best to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’ll follow any instructions you leave, respect your home, and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, patience, and care while you’re away.

About: As a dog "Mama" I know how important it is for our "children" to be safe, loved and happy. I provide a fun, interactive, safe and relaxing environment for your Pup. Working part time from home allows me to give a lot of myself and my time. There is a big Park near my home to walk and run in (weather permitting) and I have a decent sized fenced Yard. Max is the resident 13 month old Catahoula. He has been raised with lots of other dogs and lots of visits to the dog park (he hands out kisses to everyone ). Currently he is 30 lbs. and is full grown. We have two cats who don't mind dogs too much LOL. Both were raised with dogs,
“Amanda has been a great dog walker for our puppy! She was extremely loving and caring to our puppy. Some of the things we appreciated about Amanda was that she was easy to get ahold, always on time, and consistent rain or shine. We had to move away from the area and wish we could have taken her with us. We highly recommend Amada to take care of your pet!”

“Lindsay consistently goes above and beyond for my dogs! She is very thoughtful and takes fantastic care of them. She is also very responsive to messaging through the rover app. I would highly recommend Lindsay!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
