“Cooper was wonderful with our rescue dog, who is usually very nervous and slow to warm up to new people. He was kind, gentle, and never pushed her past her comfort zone. One day she refused to go for a walk, and instead of forcing it, Cooper sat with her, gave her treats, and just made her feel safe and comfortable. That meant so much to us. I also really appreciated the daily updates and photos—such a thoughtful touch. We’ll definitely be booking with Candy & Cooper again!”

“Our dog loved Lana at first sight! She was prompt and followed care instructions perfectly, accommodated a slight longer walk that was our routine and sent updates and pictures. Will definitely use her services again!”

About: I have fostered 2 dogs who are pitbull mixes. The first one I fostered for a year (female) and the second I am currently fostering for about 2 months now (male) who were both 2 years old. I am currently on winter break and am not working any part time jobs so have plenty of time to offer assistance like dog walking and pet sitting. The two foster dogs I have taken care of have had a wonderful time in my home and i make sure to check on them daily to make sure there is no concerns that need vet attention. i am very attentive to details and will always make sure the dog is comfortable
About: I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with 4 of the sweetest adopted souls (3 cats, 1 dog). I recently lost my beautiful lab who I raised for nearly 10 years. I’m hoping that caring for other’s pets will help me heal my heart and provide opportunities to nurture animals again. I work full time, but remotely. My office is in my home and I have many opportunities in my schedule to provide undivided attention and walks through a very safe and scenic neighborhood. Although I do not have a private yard I have ample landscaped green space mere feet outside my front door. I do not currently have pets but I am approved to foster through San Antonio Animal Care Services.
“Ryan was fantastic! He walked my dog every day for two weeks over the holidays and was always on time with excellent communication. I loved getting photo updates after each walk, it gave me a lot of peace of mind while we were away. I’ll definitely be using him again next time we travel, and I highly recommend him.”

“Nicole was super cooperative, kind, punctual and communicative! My dog got a little sick while she was taking care of him and she offered her own supplements for him to take. Highly recommend!”

About: I treat every pet like my own and focus on making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience caring for puppies Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, play sessions, and any special care needs to make sure each pet gets consistent attention and quality care. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the same level of care and cleanliness I would in my own. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is always to create a safe, stress-free, and loving environment for every pet. 🐾
About: My name is Raven, and I am an energetic and passionate lover of animals of all kinds. I grew up in a household wherein my mom saved any animal she could get her hands on, therefore I learned how to care for cats, dogs & even snakes very early in life. Ive worked for shelters since I was a pre-teen, both in volunteer and employment capacity, as well as being on Rover for over 6 years now, and have fallen in love with every pet i've been able to care for. I'm respectful of your home, time and routine. I'm able to meld to any feeding, walking, cuddling time your animal is used to, as to not change their routine while you're away. I hope to meet you and your furry friend! I am a full time student, with a lot of my classes being online, therefore my schedule is very flexible, and I prioritize your pets before anything else. Rover is something i've cherished for many years, allowing me an opportunity to connect with families who need help, and spend therapeutic time with the animals who make them whole! I can give myself an immense amount of credit for being a very trustworthy person. I was taught by my father to leave things better than I found them, and enjoy cleaning and maintaining my own environment as well as yours. I've never had a complaint about my respect for my clients space. You may occasionally check your home cameras and find me having a conversation with your pets, but other than that, I am fully sane! As for boarding in my home, I am unable to care for dogs in my home as I have 2 cats without experience with dogs, and the number one priority in my care is safety. However, I can board cats as my cats are very comfortable and used to living in a multi-cat home.
“I am new to Rover, and Sarah is the first person we’ve used; she’s wonderful. Sarah is prompt, professional, and kind. Our goldendoodle, Rex, gives her a five-paw review too! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾”

About: I've had experience with labradors as family pets for roughly 10 years. From their interesting bathing routines to their high energy bursts I understand the struggles! I also have experience with small dogs and australian shepherds. I am currently focusing on dog walking but I am more than willing to accommodate to other pet necessities. I am a full time RN which means I work 3 nights a week. Pet care will be doable for about 4 times a week! My schedule is flexible so it is not consistent every week but I am available to go for early and midday walks. I am willing to accommodate pet care should I be free to do so! I will follow the pet owners routine so that they are not confused in the change of care. I will do my best to stay consistent and to practice their upmost safety.
About: Hello! I’m Thomas, a responsible, animal-loving college student with a passion for history and a heart for furry (and sometimes not-so-furry!) companions. While I may be newer to professional pet sitting, I’ve grown up around animals and have cared for dogs, cats, and even reptiles for friends and family. What sets me apart is my calm and gentle nature, I’m someone animals trust easily. Whether it’s going on a long walk, playing fetch in the yard, or curling up for some quiet companionship, I always adapt to each pet’s unique energy and needs. I’m also extremely dependable, respectful of your space, and happy to accommodate special instructions. Bonus fact: I recently had the unforgettable chance to hold a sloth (see my profile photo!), and yes, I stayed calm, steady, and respectful the entire time. 😊 If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets with the same care and attention I would give my own, I’d love to help. Right now, pet care is my main focus. I’m not working a full-time job at the moment, which gives me the flexibility to be fully present and reliable for the pets I care for. Whether it’s daily drop-ins, dog walks, overnight stays, or extended holiday care, I’m able to adjust my schedule completely around your pet’s needs. I treat every booking as a top priority, making sure pets get not just attention, but consistency and comfort while you’re away. Since I’m local, dependable, and have a calm presence, I’m especially good with pets that do best in their own space and routine. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment so your pet feels secure while you’re away. I always follow your instructions exactly, from feeding routines and walk times to medication schedules and favorite toys. I keep a clean and respectful presence in your space, treating your home the same way I would want someone to treat mine. I also send regular updates, including photos and notes, so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Whether it’s one night or a full vacation, I provide the kind of consistent, loving care that helps pets stay relaxed and happy.
