He took many photos of lalo for me and lalo was happy in every single photo! “Nellie took care of our senior cat and dog for a week, and she did an exceptional job! We couldn't have been more pleased. Our cat has been having eating issues, and Nellie took it upon herself to try a different type of food with him. Her 4 dogs are super friendly; one is a therapy dog. Our dog got along really well with them. Her back yard is fenced, so I never worried about our pup running off. Nellie is a genuine pet lover, former vet tech, and current dog groomer. We will definitely use her again!”

About: Very dog friendly house hold, I have 2 of my own. I like going to different parks/trails, dog parks, and especially places with water. I have senior care experience as well (one of mine is 12) so I understand that some days can be easier than others. I also always have a little snack on me! I am all about my pets. We go on long walks, parks, dog parks, and love the beach! I always have time for them and will take them with me even to run a quick errand. Whether I'm in my own home or someone else's, I try to make the pet feel as comfortable as possible. I let them come to me and do things at their pace.
12. Alexandra L.
“Alex has been a trusted volunteer on our horse rescue farm for over 4 years. She is kind and compassionate while at the same time professional and assertive in her knowledge of animal behavior. Alex works well with others and all animals on our farm (horses, dogs, chickens, rabbits, goats and more). She carries herself with enthusiasm and determination for any task or responsibility she is given. I would recommend Alex for any dog care, walking and/or pet sitting roles. In fact, I have personally hired her to care for my bloodhound. As founder of our non-profit horse rescue farm I feel very responsible to find the best care for our animals, I can confidently say Alex is part of the "best" I am happy to offer my recommendation for Alexandra "Alex" Lambert. ~Marla McNary founder/pres Madison Grove Farm”

About: Loving and Experienced Dog Caregiver Specializing in Nervous and Reactive Dogs Hi, I’m Maya! I’ve had the privilege of rescuing and caring for a nervous puppy with anxiety, which has taught me so much about patience, understanding, and positive reinforcement training. I know how to create a safe and calming environment for dogs who may be reactive or nervous around new people, pets, or situations. Here’s what I bring to the table: • Experience with nervous and reactive dogs: I’m comfortable handling dogs who need a little extra care and reassurance. • Training expertise: I use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior and build trust. • Medication administration: I have experience giving dogs medications, ensuring their health needs are met. • Crate training: I’ve successfully worked with crate training for puppies and adult dogs. • Support for picky eaters: I’m patient and creative with dogs who are selective about their meals. • Focused care: I do not currently have other dogs in my home, so your pup will receive my undivided attention. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a dog needing extra support, I’m here to provide loving and attentive care. I’d love to meet your furry family member and help them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! As someone who is home full-time, I’m able to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I offer daily walks, enrichment activities, and training sessions to keep dogs happy, engaged, and well-cared for. Your pet will always have the love and structure they need in my home. My home is a cozy, pet-friendly space designed with your dog’s comfort in mind. Dogs are welcome on my furniture for cuddles, but I’ll happily follow your rules if you’d prefer otherwise. I have a small, supervised yard and access to a large dog park for exercise and play. Inside, your pup will enjoy clean food and water bowls, multiple dog beds, a carpeted room for lounging, and a large crate that can be made into a cozy space. With plenty of toys, including Kongs, lick mats, and fetch balls, your dog will have everything they need to feel at home.
