“Jody is absolutely our favorite (mine and Milo’s). She was communicative, on time and treated my boy as if he was her own. I had peace of mind while out of town and that is all thanks to her! 10/10 recommend.”

“If you’re looking for a compassionate, experienced, and reliable dog sitter, Tanya is the one to call! We have four energetic dogs ranging from 100 pounds to just 25 pounds, and she handles them all with ease. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or keeping them on their best behavior, Tanya goes above and beyond. Having her care for our pups gives us true peace of mind when we travel, knowing they’re in the best hands. We can’t recommend her enough!”

“I have Ella booked for repeat walking. My lab is young and very active, and Ella will put in the work to tire him out. Moose loves her and we feel at ease knowing he is in good hands. She provides feedback and is communicative. Always on time too. Highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve helped take care of dogs before, both my own and family friends who needed an extra paw! I have watched over dogs of different sizes from a little shitzu to a Siberian Husky. I also helped with taking care of senior dogs, including ones which require special dietary supplements and attention! I adore walking dogs, giving them attention and love, as well as taking care of young dogs. I’m currently available for weekdays in the evening after 4:00 pm as I do work part-time, but I have open availability on weekends. I’m hoping for something to earn a little extra income and to gain some experience in training dogs if possible, but I can do longer if needed! I can also handle dog walking! I currently don’t offer boarding or crating services in my own home. I can stay at a client’s home for extended periods of time with the exception of Mondays! My own home is fenced-in, but I can still offer dog walking services for clients!
About: Hi everyone! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page 🐾 I have been blessed to be a dog sitter for the last 10 years. Now I’m a stay at home momma who loves to continue to welcome furry guests in. I have 2 boys, 5 and 3, who are always just as excited to welcome new friendly faces!💝 Our whole world revolves around providing the best care possible at a cost effective means. Finding good care shouldn’t cost you more than your own trip 🐾 I have been a dog sitter for 10+ years. And I have been involved with multiple areas involving dogs. I was blessed to have partnered with many rescues all across the US to save many doggos since traveling wasn’t happening. I have had severely under socialized dogs, I have horrible cruelty cases, and I have had just the normal babies who needed a place until they find forever. All the rescue work I did truly did help me become a better sitter. If you are nervous about leaving your timid/reactive/fearful/flight risk dog anywhere, look no farther. I am not intimidated and I use many different positive reinforcement methods to ensuring a happy vacation for both you and your dog. I am not simply a dog sitter, I am extended family. Your babies are mine while in my care and I take their health and safety the absolute top priority. If you have any questions please feel free to send a message! I’d be happy to chat with you I am a stay at home momma to 2 human kids and 4 fur kids ❤️ so what’s one more to add into the bunch? 😍 I do have a backyard that is 1/4 of an acre that is completely fenced and secure. As well we do not leave the babies unattended outside.
About: I’m an active and experienced dog walker and animal lover! I’ve had several jobs relating to pet car over the years including working for animal shelters, kennels, and groomers. With that experience comes much familiarity with any dog from puppy to senior, small dogs to large, and dogs with special needs. I treat all animals with the respect and kindness they deserve. I’m keeping my rate low since I am new to Rover and if you have a dog with special needs please let me know before our walk. I do house sittings and depending on distance can be there every 2-4 hours during the day however I don’t do overnight stays. I can be available most weekdays for walks or check-ins. I will typically need at least 2 days notice to free my schedule so that I can be available whenever is most convenient for you and your pet. I’ve worked with all kinds of pets in the past and should be able to accommodate any special needs or requirements your pet might have. For walks I will always bring approved treats and a travel bowl for water.

If in your home I would maintain their routine to the best of my ability.

If you don't like your dog being off leash, I will make sure to have them always be secured on a leash.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
