Jody is absolutely our favorite (mine and Milo’s). She was communicative, on time and treated my boy as if he was her own. I had peace of mind while out of town and that is all thanks to her! 10/10 recommend.

About: I've grown up with cats and dogs, and currently have 2 cats of my own. I've assisted in petsitting or petwalking jobs on the side for the past few years. I'm currently working part-time on my own schedule, so have a wide variety of time to schedule walks, sitting, etc for pets. I can do weekdays or weekends. Evenings are usually busier for me, but I am able to work around any specific needs! I can take your pet on walks, feed them, play with them, and provide very basic care. Walks and stop-by visits are my most common requests.

About: I’ve helped take care of dogs before, both my own and family friends who needed an extra paw! I have watched over dogs of different sizes from a little shitzu to a Siberian Husky. I also helped with taking care of senior dogs, including ones which require special dietary supplements and attention! I adore walking dogs, giving them attention and love, as well as taking care of young dogs. I’m currently available for weekdays in the evening after 4:00 pm as I do work part-time, but I have open availability on weekends. I’m hoping for something to earn a little extra income and to gain some experience in training dogs if possible, but I can do longer if needed! I can also handle dog walking! I currently don’t offer boarding or crating services in my own home. I can stay at a client’s home for extended periods of time with the exception of Mondays! My own home is fenced-in, but I can still offer dog walking services for clients!

I’ve worked with all types of dogs, including high-energy, anxious, and large breeds (I personally have experience with husky/shepherd types). I offer drop-ins, walks, and in-home care where your dogs stay comfortable in their routine. I’m very attentive to behavior, feeding schedules, and exercise needs. You’ll get consistent updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. I know how important trust is when leaving your pets, and I take that seriously. I have a flexible schedule and prioritize making sure pets get consistent care and attention. I’m available for drop-ins and walks daily, with availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Weekends are open for boarding or extended care. I plan my day around the pets I’m caring for to ensure they get proper exercise, playtime, and routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I provide a calm, structured environment and closely follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any specific instructions. I have experience reading dog behavior and keeping interactions safe and positive. I can separate pets if needed and ensure a clean, secure space at all times. You’ll also get updates and photos so you feel confident while you’re away.

About: For over 20 years, I have been the trusted pet sitter for friends and family. I do not own pets, so my schedule and attention are entirely dedicated to yours. My 15 years in retail banking means I take reliability, confidentiality, and home security incredibly seriously. I specialize in anxious, reactive, and aggressive dogs. They are not bad dogs; they just need a calm, patient approach. I read body language well and know exactly how to earn their trust so they feel safe and secure while you are away. My schedule is wide open and completely flexible. I manage my day entirely from home while pursuing my accounting degree online, which means your dog gets priority, not the back burner. Whether your pup needs early morning potty breaks, midday trail walks, or evening visits, I can seamlessly match their exact routine without rushing. If your dog needs dedicated attention throughout the day, I have the full availability to make it happen. I exclusively care for dogs in their own homes, prioritizing the security of your property and the absolute comfort of your pet. Earning a dog's trust takes immense patience, so I always use a calm, gentle approach and let the dog set the pace. I have a strong understanding of animal body language, which allows me to safely manage anxious, reactive, or aggressive dogs without ever escalating the situation. I focus on de-escalation, building trust, and maintaining a secure environment so you can travel with total peace of mind.

About: Hello there! I have been a dog owner most of my life, and I have volunteer experience at the North Shore Animal League. When it comes to dogs, I try my best to interpret their needs and make sure they're happiest at all times. I'm extremely patient, honest, and trustworthy. When it comes to deciding the best option for your furry friend, you can count on me. My family has owned poodles, labs, vizsla, and pit mixes. I personally have a heart for poodles, Maltese, and other small breeds. But I still love to run around with the big ones too! Your dog will be in the best care while you're away, I can send pictures, videos, etc. so you know how they're doing at all times. :) Flexible work schedule allows me to visit any hours of the day. I am available for drop in visits, walks, or housesitting. Just reach out to discuss your needs. Caring for pets in a clients home starts with a proper introduction. Giving them time and space to come to me as they feel comfortable. Checking for fresh water, food, and if the booking allows- a full walk time with photos. If it’s a drop in, then lots of pets, kind words, and fresh air if their yard permits.

About: I highly recommend my son, Jared, as a dog walker on Rover.com. He is extremely responsible, attentive, and loving towards all animals. Jared goes above and beyond to ensure that the pets in his care are happy, healthy, and well-walked. I trust Jared completely with our own precious pets, and I know that he will provide your pets with the same level of care and love that you do. If you are looking for a reliable and compassionate dog walker, look no further than Jared! My son is currently off school and will be giving his full attention towards walking your furry friends. Even when school begins, he will continue to walk your pets as much as he can. Jared is a very responsible and loving pet owner. He makes sure that our precious dog, Luna, is taken care of before he does anything else.

About: My name is Haley, I’m 30, living in Boerne. I will do dog walks, feeding, and playing. I will also do grooming and training for an additional fee. I will love your pet like I love my pups. I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was 3. I have had 6 dogs and 3 cats total. I’m currently raising my 5th puppy, Toulouse. He will be the fourth dog I’ve trained. I am self employed and spend a lot of time if not all my time at home. I would have lots of free time to tend to all your pets needs. I have 2 dogs of my own to keep your pup happy while visiting. About: I have lived around animals for as long as I can remember and I completely adore them. I have a fair amount of experience with dogs the smallest being a choodle (chihuahua+poodle mix) from a puppy to the largest so far being a Pyrenees. By this point I have taken care of both baby animals and senior pets with a lot of experience with keeping up with your pets medication. I also have experience with other animals like sugar gliders, hedgehogs, snakes, fish, chickens and even a horse. I reinforce any commands and training your pets are learning. I'm willing to care for and walk dogs of an even larger size just give me fair warning if your dog is a jumper. Im a little on the short side and just want to be prepared. I currently own a Chinese crested powderpuff named Rogue, and a miniature dachshund named Slade. Also I care for a family of stray cats that might as well be mine at this point. I usually play with animals until they are tired enough without making them exhausted. I usually keep to whatever schedule my clients give me and then some. Feedings, bathroom breaks, play time, walks, cuddles, training reinforcements and loads of pictures. I keep an eye out for just about everything. I want to make sure that both your pets and your house is safe. I'll check for anything that is asked for specifically as well

About: I love any type of dog, and will spend all the time I can with them, young or old. I want all the dogs, but can't afford them. Teacher on holiday break, I have loads of time, and love to spend it with dogs and walking as much as I possibly can to help myself exercise. I follow directions that the owner gives to the best of my ability. I'm recovering from a ruptured ACL, MCL , and torn meniscus surgery, so I love the exercise.

I had my own pet sitting business many years ago with hundreds of clients in my neighborhood, so I am familiar with countless breeds, ages and temperaments. I enjoy the responsibility and trust that my clients have for me to care for their pets. I love meeting new dogs and cats and forming a bond with them! About: I have 30+ years of pet care experience not only with my own pets, but also friends & family that I have taken care of. I am very friendly to all animals and know how to interact with the most timid or aggressive dogs. When I meet a new animal, owners tell me that I must have a sixth sense because the animals never react so well to anyone. I tell the owners that they must know I am a dog lover and enjoy being with animals more than I do people. I work from home so will be with your furry child all day. I have two Black Labs of my own that love everyone! References available upon request.

She took great care of our pup and sent lots of updates and pictures, which were so reassuring to us as we were out of the country and a little nervous about being so far from our pup. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
