My current job has its schedule a month out, so I can be very clear on which days I work. My usual shift begins at 5 pm and will not last more than 5 hours max. On Tuesdays and Thursdays it is always guaranteed I do not work.

I will keep all animals under constant supervision and make sure to thoroughly read any instructions left behind. I make sure that every animal is entertained, and try to teach them things they might’ve not known how to do before, such as minor tricks to keep their minds engaged.

I’d love to be informed of any routines or important tasks prior to my visit so I can give your pet the best care possible! Such things include feeding schedules, medication, walk times, favorite activities, or anything they’re sensitive to so that I can keep their regular routine as similar as possible. Knowing this in advance helps me make sure your furry friend is comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away!
A typical day
A usual day for me is all about keeping pets happy, comfortable, and active. I enjoy going on walks or hikes for more energetic dogs to burn off some energy, followed by breakfast and lots of love. Throughout the afternoon I prioritize activities like playing with toys, engaging with the outdoors, practicing basic tricks and commands, or just relaxing if your best friend enjoys a calmer lifestyle. I make sure they are surrounded by love so they’re never lonely, and send plenty of updates to the owner you so you know best friend is having a great time!

Loving Care While You’re Away

I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and started volunteering with rescue organizations when I was just 10 years old. Now at 19, I have nearly a decade of hands-on experience caring for animals from many different backgrounds. I currently have three dogs of my own, including a 13-year-old senior I’ve raised from her birth, so I’m very comfortable caring for both energetic young pets and older animals who need a little extra patience and gentle attention! Many of the animals I’ve worked with came from stressful situations, which has given me great experience helping pets with anxiety or nervous behaviors feel safe and comfortable. I always focus on creating a calm, positive environment where every pet feels loved and secure while their owner is away! I truly love animals of all kinds, from the smallest to the biggest, and I still volunteer with rescue organizations in my free time to help pets find their forever homes! Pet sitting allows me to do something I genuinely enjoy while giving every animal the same care and attention I give my own!

Reily is simply amazing! The love and care she showed our pups was like they were her own. Not is she amazing with Aspen and Sterling, but she took amazing care of our home. We came home and it looked like we never had left. Our home was spotless! To top it off there were fresh baked cookies that were still warm when we got home. We will never book anyone else!
Reily is the absolute best. Professional and communicative and really cares about my pets!
