About: Hi! My name is Amanda. My family is made up of my two, energetic and loving kids, my husband (army veteran), and our pups, Barley (husky) and Natsu (shiba inu). I grew up with a husky by my side. I married a man who loved dogs too and who grew up raising dogs. Naturally, our kids share our love of dogs too. We have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and pregnant dogs. Our fenced backyard has plenty of space for your fur baby to run around and play. The backyard is also well shaded. As mentioned, we have 2 pups, so your fur baby would need to be comfortable being around other dogs. While your family member is with us, he/she will have a blast. They will find themselves getting belly rubs, scratches behind the ear, plenty of cuddles and a decent about of exercise. During the stay, I will be able to give your fur baby all the attention they desire and need. We will crate your fur baby for the night to reduce their anxiety from being in a new environment or if they are puppies and are currently being crate trained. If you prefer not to have your fur baby crated, no problem! Just let me know that. If you chose us, here is what we would like to know about your fur baby. Do they have any stressors? Anxiety issues? Are they escape artists? Do they dig? Any signs of aggression we should look out for? Feeding schedule and any other special requirements/ needs will be discussed before your pets stay with us. I’m currently working half days in the office and I finish the day working from home. Saturday’s and Sunday’s are our days to spend as a family hiking, going to a park or spending time in our back yard. Our home has a fenced yard and Barley and Natsu to keep your pup company. We have a 400 sq. ft. kennel for smaller pups/puppies and 2, 800 sq. ft. kennels in the back yard. So if you prefer your pup to be in a kennel where they have plenty of room to run and play, that option is available. We can also crate your pup if you prefer that option; although we normally let the pups go in and out of their crate as they please.

About: Caring for pets has been a rewarding experience in my life. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs and livestock as well. Animals bring me a joy that people cannot. I’ve learned that a happy pet is a well cared for pet. I have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs. I love walks and playful interactions with dogs, and I make sure every dog feels comfortable around me. I am currently registered as a full time college student, but I do have about half the week available to care for your lovely animals. I do have two of my own furry dogs at home, which I take care of on the daily basis. I am able to provide proper care with exercise as well as handling excited dogs.

“Very communicative and flexible with my schedule”

About: I have 10 years of experience with military working dogs. Friends and neighbors have typically entrusted me to care for their furry family members over the years. I will treat your pets like they are part of my family. I do work a full time job in the Air Force, but I can ensure daily walks, play, and plenty of attention during the work week. On weekends, I am very flexible to whatever hours and activities you may need also. I have a large fenced in yard and a park within half a mile for great walks during the day or evening. I do not own any other pets, and I offer a quiet safe environment for your pets.

“Great and easy to work with. Our pup likes to bark at new people in the house and takes some time to warm up. Chris was very patient and willing to work to make our Hank feel at ease while he was there.”

About: With a lifetime of experience caring for diverse pets (from dogs and cats to birds and fish), I'm happiest when surrounded by animals. My family shares this love, and since we're homebound 24/7, we can offer your pet round-the-clock attention and affection in a loving home while you're away. I have hybrid schedule but my spouse is remote so we always have someone home. We also have 2 neutered 7 year old dogs of our own who have been around other pets and kids making them super friendly and patient. Being long term per owners we have crates, pens, litter boxes, puppy pads and other pet items. So you don't have to provide these if your pet loves indoors. We ask for a pet bed/blanky as that gives them optimum comfort. We a shaded deck and fenced yard for the outdoor loving pets.

“Nicole was very sweet and attentive to my kitties and all of my needs. She even came over before we went out of town to go over instructions and was concerned with making sure she had everything correct. She sent me pictures of my kitties while I was gone and even brought my packages in for me! I was very impressed with her cleanliness and even suggested I buy more litter before I left as she made sure their box was tidy. :) She was very friendly and easy to work with; I would definitely use her again!”

“Wendy was super attentive and great at communicating. I have a puppy that isn’t fully potty trained and an adult dog who is typically a little timid of new people but she won her over super quick. She goes above and beyond and is very punctual. She will be my go-to from now on. Thank you!”

About: Hi! I’m Zoe-a reliable, pet-loving sitter with four years of experience caring for pups of all sizes (and personalities!). I also have a golden retriever of my own who’s four, fluffy, and firmly believes she’s in charge. I’ve trained her myself, so I know a thing or two about patience, treats and the occasional muddy paw. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or snuggles, your pet will get the same love and care I give my own. Can’t wait to meet your furry family! Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine because I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be fully present for the pets I care for. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I can adjust my day to meet your pet’s needs. I plan my time around their routines, not the other way around-so they get the attention, exercise, and care they deserve without feeling rushed or overlooked. Safety and trust are at the heart of everything I do-whether I’m in your home or out on a walk with your pup. In your home, I stick to your pet’s routine to keep things comfortable and familiar while you are away. I always double-check doors, gates, and feeding instructions to make sure everything’s just right. On walks, I stay attentive to the environment and pay close attention to your dog’s behavior and body language, avoiding unsafe or overly crowded areas if needed. I treat every home with the same respect I would want in mine, and every pet like they’re my own (which means lots of love, attention and belly rubs!).

About: I’ve been raised around and taken care of big dogs my whole life. I’m currently a graduate student and missing my fur babies back at home. Plenty of experience being a walker, sitter, petter, and ball thrower. Have worked with senior dogs through puppies. I work as a graduate student and teacher. My work hours are project-dependent, giving me a free and flexible schedule. I will happily walk day or night! I cannot watch dogs at my home but will gladly pet sit at yours! I am attentive to all pet needs—playing, feeding, exercises, cuddles—when pet sitting. I will make sure your fur babies are getting the best pets and amble play time when I’m on the clock.

Helotes dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amanda is amazing! Our two senior dogs can be a bit hard to care for, which makes it difficult for my husband and I to take time away. So glad I found Amanda. She sent pics every visit, and went above and beyond taking care of our sweet boys. I think they might have been disappointed to see us return, honestly.🥴. Highly recommend her!

We never got to meet in person but her first interaction with the crew was a pleasant one. She was on time for visits and made sure they had what was needed. She kept us in the loop with pictures. What can I say very happy with care she gave our crazy crew.

Grace was great! Provided updates and photos on our pups while we were out of town for a few days. They were both happy with Grace checking in.

Lindsay always gives us 5 star service. We are always at ease on our trips when we know she's there to look after our two girls for us. Thank you Lindsay.
