About: I have cared for all types of dogs ranging from puppies to elderly dogs, small dachshunds to great pyrenees, your dogs are in great hands with me. I am currently a stay-at-home father and have plenty of time to dedicate to taking care of your pets. Mornings to evenings are open availability to allow you the flexibility in your day while knowing your pets are well taken care of. I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play, and a safe walkable neighborhood if your pooch prefers long walks. About: I love my dogs and I will love yours to!! Your family member will have a great place to stay, and somebody to play with. They will be well taken care of and have everything they will need, food, water, outside, pet scratches, and belly rubs. We will be taking walks in a lovely neighborhood and spend some time at the park. You may not want them to stay to long or they may not want to go home. About: I have taken care of 25+ dogs and cats in the past 3 years, to include in home/overnight pet- and house-sitting, dog walking, brushing, litter box maintenance and pill-based medication administration. When taking care of other people’s pets, I provide the attention and care that I was seeking for my own cat and dog (who, sadly, are no longer with me.) I take care to be calm around the pets I sit - I let both cats and dogs take their time to warm up to me (come to me when they are ready, sniff my hands, my person, my things). I follow the pet's routine - if they sleep on the bed, I let them sleep on the bed; if they like to go in and out frequently, I let them go in and out frequently. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
