“Marissa is amazing and took such wonderful care of our little Uchi! It was our first time having someone outside of our family and friends care for him and we could not have been happier. Lots of pictures and updates and overall an amazing, seamless experience!”

“Alison was amazing watching my girl Stella. She was kept very active and they had a blast together. I appreciated the photo updates and Alison’s attention to her needs. Will be booking again, thanks Alison!”

“Barbara has been amazing at dog sitting my miniature dachshund. She sends multiple updates/photos throughout the day and makes the pick up and drop off very easy! My dog is always happy to see her too!”

“Denise was a communicative and thoughtful host to my 9 year old Corgi, Gus. She watched him over July 4th weekend and administered meds/ cared for my nervous pup as if he was her own! Denise gave great updates and was flexible with drop off and pick up. Will definitely reach out the next time we need a dog-sitter. Thanks Denise!!”

“Thank you a million times over. Sunny did great at home. It’s like he was on vacation and had so much fun that when he came home he had to rest. 😁 see you soon.”
“Jen is so awesome! Her home and yard setup is terrific too. She has great experience with dogs and took great care of our Senior pup, who can sometimes be a little nervous. Bella was clearly happy and comfortable with Jen when I went to pick her up.”

“Aine was amazing with Bono. Bono developed a severe allergy to something during his stay and Aine took Bono to our vet and even bathed him in the medication shampoo so he would feel much better. Though we were out of town, we felt comforted that Bono was in such good care. Thank you so much!”

“Morgan did great! Took Mads in on short notice and gave updates while she was there. Mads was looking around the car when I picked her up wondering why Morgan wasn't coming with us so I know she really enjoyed her time there.”

“Gol was simply fantastic. It was our first time with Rover and with boarding and she was always updating us with photos and videos and also our dog, Mabel, loved her since the first time she met her. We will for sure become recurring clients now :)”

“Madeline went out of her way to make sure Barkley felt comfortable during his stay. She was very responsive with messaging, sent pictures throughout the week & asked questions to make sure he felt at home. I would recommend Madeline to others!”

“Mary is the best! She has taken care of our pup on two separate occasions and he loves staying with her. She is very attentive, took notes about him on his first visit, and shares feedback and tips. She takes him on lots of fun walks and adventures, and is great with sending updates along with photos and videos. Mary is very patient, caring, and knowledgeable about dogs - we always feel like our pup is in safe hands with her. 11/10 would recommend!”

“Sarah was great! Our pup Lexie has some separation anxiety, which makes leaving her home alone a challenge, and Sarah handled it like a champ. She also sent over two adorable videos of Lexie playing and running around - she was clearly having the time of her life! We'd use Sarah again in a heartbeat!”

“We needed Rover for a last minute trip and could not have been more happy with Christine! She was super flexible and sent plenty of pictures. You could tell she is an animal lover and our dogs had plenty of love while we were away. Thank you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Austin
Once again, Kristina went above and beyond 5 stars to lovingly take care of our labrador Scout for 10 days. She clearly loves dogs, provides exceptional care, and wants your pup to have a happy, fun time while staying with her. She was observant and had great communication with us, too. Thanks so much, Kristina!
Erika was great when boarding my dog with her! She sent many photos and videos throughout the duration of my trip. It is worth noting that there are many dogs staying under her care at one time. If your dog does not do well with other dogs I would not recommend this booking. There is a lot of playtime with dogs you’ve never met or watched your dog interact with before. My dog seemed very happy when in Erika’s care and was happy to see us when we returned. She did smell like she had a great time running, roughhousing, and hanging out in the turfed yard, we had to give her a bath promptly after retuning home.

Samaha did a wonderful job looking after our pup while we traveled for 4th of July weekend. She kept us up to date of walking schedules, potty breaks, feeding habits as well as photos. We were very grateful to know & trust that a member of our family was in great hands.

Excellent communication, received many updates and photos! This is the first time I used Rover and Lincoln made the process as smooth as possible, I felt very comfortable and trusted that he would take care of my dog. Seemed to understand my dog’s emotional needs and temperament. Will absolutely rebook :)

Claire & Jacky took excellent care of our Gracie. They were kind and patient with our senior dog. They were caring as our dog was a bit scared in an unfamiliar place the first couple of days. Gracie then became comfortable with them. They kept me updated with texts and pictures the whole time. We appreciate Claire & Jacky being so sweet to our Gracie!

Kayla is the best! She’s extremely knowledgeable about pet ownership and pet behaviors. My sweet boy Thomas loved his time with Kayla. She was very communicative and was sure to provide consistent updates as well as keep me apprised of any behaviors she observed (ex. Thomas has a fear of fireworks). We already have our next stay booked. Thank you, Kayla!

Mitchell was great about sending pictures and videos of my dachshund while I was on vacation! Highly recommend for any dachshund parents. Dachshunds are a tough bread to care for but Mitchell was great about showing me that Cupid (my dog) was having a great time every day!

Denise is very sweet. She kept my dog, Wyatt, which I adopted from Austin Pets Alive a little over 3 months ago. She sent me MULTIPLE pictures every day, as well as a little update... just to let me know that he was getting along with her own dog, as well as another that she had to keep part of the time. She also sent me some videos at the end... but the daily pictures & updates put me at ease!!! 👍👍👍 😁😁😁 👏👏👏

Honestly, look no further than Brandon. He was incredibly kind, communicative, and caring with Kylo from the moment we dropped him off. He also handled a stressful situation with so much patience and compassion. He kept us updated, made sure Kylo was okay, and was so thoughtful throughout the entire process.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
