Each dog in my care will be outfitted in an air tag or a Fi collar for GPS tracking. We have two Furbo cameras on at all times. I have a securely fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I have a lot of experience with various breeds and ages due to fostering and know my way around fearful dogs as well as dogs who might be a flight risk. My own dog has been through all her obedience classes and is a Canine Good Citizen, and will be testing for her Advanced Canine Good Citizen soon, so I’m familiar with dog training and we constantly work on our manners at home. I’m also sensitive to food allergies and dietary needs, and I keep goats milk, pumpkin and slippery elm on hand for any gastrointestinal distress. I keep Benadryl on hand for any possible bug bites and CBD/calming treats in case they’re stressed while you’re away. Because of my foster experience, I’ve truly seen it all when it comes to learning to adjust to a new space and I’ve prepared an arsenal of things to help your pup adjust. I keep additional harnesses on hand for walks to add an extra level of security and various food toppers to entice picky dogs to eat if necessary.

Information Jen R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about dietary restrictions or food allergies up front, or treat preferences for training. I do like to give treats to enforce good behavior but can use whatever is necessary to fit with your preferences. I also need your dog(s) to be current on vaccinations including bordetella.
A typical day
Your dog will get all the perks of professional boarding and daycare without paying additional fees for enrichment. A typical day includes at least one walk, enrichment in the form of lickimats, food puzzles, and healthy chews, one on one play time, group play with my dogs, plus lots of cuddles and training. I’m not a professional trainer but we constantly work on positive reinforcement and manners.

Pet care experience
Small dogs are my favorite! When you’re on vacation, your dog is too. Your dog will love coming to Camp Dumptruck because it’s like Disneyland for dogs, and because I treat them like they’re my own. Included in my rates are daily enrichment, cuddles, a walk, a nightly chew, and lots of playtime. Daily enrichment examples: feeding in a toppl or puzzle toy, peanut butter or plain yogurt lickimats, snufflemats Walks: we regularly do a 2 mile walk but also have a stroller and cooling bandanas in case your dog needs a break. If your dog isn’t super mobile, sniffaris (20 to 30 minute slow walks where they can sniff as much as they want) will tire your dog out as much as a walk. Nightly chew: I give my dogs an evening chew so your dog will get one too. Chewing is an excellent way to decompress and your dog will be relaxed after their nightly chew session. Depending on food allergies, these can range from a toothbrush bone to a sweet potato chew. I monitor the dogs for any resource guarding and take chews away if there’s a choking risk. I currently have three small dogs and am a regular foster for local rescues. I’ve fostered small dogs from 8 weeks to 16 years old and have experience training puppies as well as working with senior dogs with major health issues. I worked at a small dog daycare that closed due to covid so I’m familiar with dog body language and play styles. Small and nervous dogs are my specialty and I love seeing them learn to relax in my care.
Reviews

Jen is just the best! Her genuine care and attention to our little senior dog is so appreciated. He’s always in great hands.

Jen is just the best! She always takes such great care of our little senior dog. He gets all the attention, love, interactive treats and play time with little friends. She really knows all about dog care. It puts our minds at ease when we’re away on long trips to know he’s in such good hands.🐾❤️

Jen was great with Nacho, she went above and beyond to make him comfortable the first visit and was very communicative!

Jen is always so reliable and take great care of my dog. My dog loves her!
