About: Hello! My name is Jade and I would love to meet your furry friends! I started Rover a few years ago but had to stop due to time constraints from my full time job, but now I’m committing all my time to pet care. Currently, I have three cats and two dogs, who are all rescues. I’ve had both of my dogs since they were only a few months old. So I understand the trials and tribulations of puppyhood…puppy training, crate training, obedience training, and leash walking. Hiccup and Paris both love other dogs! They have experience with dogs of all sizes! Hiccup is more of a cuddler and couch potato. Paris is higher energy and loves to play. They would be so excited to have a dog come stay with them. Feel free to set up a meet and greet! I stay at home full time now and my husband also works from home. So your pet will have constant adult supervision during their stay. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced play area in my neighborhood. I also live really close to a large public park with walking trails.

“Christina is terrific as always. Great communication and so helpful to fit me in at the last minute. Finn is always happily tuckered out and I never have any worries when I know she’s coming by.”

About: I have had a few dogs from friends and families that I have taken care of over the years for free. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. I go to my backyard and even parks just to walk. I would love to take them for walks as well. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs go out often. Morning, Afternoon, and 2 times in the evening. Just to make sure dogs use the bathroom and get that energy out before they fall asleep.

“Taylor has been watching my cat Bella for over a year. She is amazing. I know Bella will be taken care of.when Taylor drops in. Taylor is very professional and is wonderful with both cats and dogs”

About: Growing up, I often took care of my grandmother’s six dogs, including one of my own. I also helped my aunt raise two puppies she rescued from the side of the road. I became skilled at making sure they were well-fed, clean, and properly cared for. I am a student-athlete so I am busy most of the time during the week at 5am-6:30pm, but I'm available all day during the weekends. When I take care of pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine to help the pets feel safe and happy. I make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, get bathroom breaks, and have time to play. I also keep the area clean and follow any special instructions, like giving medicine. I like to send updates and photos so the owner knows their pet is doing well.
About: I'm a certified dog trainer happy to help keep your pets happy and healthy while you take time away. Any breed, any age, I'm here! I'm currently completing my dog training certification and would be available day or night to watch your dog(s) and maybe even practice my new skills. I have a fenced in yard, perfect for dogs if all sizes. Its just me to give your dog(s) the walks and attention they need!
“Alex has been amazing! He has gone above and beyond our expectations in taking care of our puppy and adult dog. We trust him in our home and the communication has been great. We get pictures ever visit and we know our pets are in good hands.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was not disappointed. Genevieve was extremely responsive. She let me know when she would be making her drop-ins and she stuck to those times. She gave me detailed summaries including photos of each visit with my dog Blue. She even played him and that wasn't a requirement. I really appreciated that. My place was in the same state I left it in, nothing out of place (which was a concern when I first signed up for Rover). I would highly recommend Genevieve to take care of your fur baby. She put my mind at ease.”

“Adeline was amazing. She gave us daily updates on how everything was. She sent us a ton of pictures. Her detailed report was spot on. Adeline went above and beyond the call of duty. One of the dogs has an accident in the house and she was a trouper and took care of the issue. I would definitely use her again when we go out of town. Adeline is top notch!!! Mike and Jennifer Rogers Little, Big, and Lilly.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and love them. I have rescued multiple senior dogs and am comfortable with all kinds of personalities and breeds. I currently have two extremely friendly young dogs if your dog wants a walking buddy, they would love that!! I currently work a flexible part time job and am getting in shape for our wedding this spring so I want to walk and hike as much as possible. I would love to have more pups to walk and play with in addition to mine! I have a fenced in yard, a ball launcher in the backyard to play with, two VERY friendly and well-socialized young dogs to play with your fur baby! I love walking and hiking, and would love to take your pup with us during the day.
About: Hi! I’m Becca ☺️ I am a lifelong animal lover and have been pet sitting for family, friends, and clients for years. My husband and I have an 11 year old Bichon Frise named Sophie who is truly part of our family and honestly one of the most spoiled little dogs on earth 😂 We have loved and cared for her since college and she is thriving, happy, and so very loved. I also grew up around animals my entire life including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and more, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me and is something I genuinely enjoy with my whole heart. We also now have a sweet one year old son who absolutely adores animals and has learned how to be very gentle with Sophie. Motherhood has been such a beautiful season of life for me, and now that things are getting a little easier and more settled, I’m excited to begin pet sitting again because taking care of others, both people and animals, truly fills my cup. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works from home, so someone is almost always home to love on your pet, let them out for potty breaks, cuddle them, keep them company, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I keep a very clean, peaceful, smoke free home and we live in a quiet safe neighborhood with sidewalks perfect for walks. I am also comfortable administering medication if needed, as Sophie takes allergy medication herself. Because we do have a small child, I am very intentional and selective about the dogs we accept into our home, and temperament and behavior are extremely important to us so that everyone stays safe, happy, and comfortable. I truly see animals as precious gifts from God with their own little personalities, emotions, and needs, and I know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your baby. I will treat your pet with so much love, care, gentleness, and attention while they are with us, and I also love sending lots of updates and pictures so you can feel at ease and know exactly how they’re doing. I would be honored to care for your sweet furbaby like one of our own.💕 Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I am a stay-at-home mom, and already caring for my son and our sweet 11 year old Bichon Frise throughout the day. My husband also works from home with a flexible schedule, so between the two of us, someone is almost always home for potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and making sure your pup feels comfortable and cared for. We love evening walks around our quiet neighborhood, and since our days are already centered around being home and caring for both of our babies, adding another furry friend into the mix feels easy and natural for our family. Your dog will be treated with lots of love, attention, and care while they’re with us. 🩷 Safety is my absolute top priority while caring for pets in our home. We live in a very quiet, safe neighborhood, and dogs are always kept leashed on walks and closely supervised outside. My husband keeps our yard freshly mowed and well-maintained, and I keep a very clean, calm environment indoors as well. We have an 11 year old Bichon Frise named Sophie who is truly the sweetest dog ever and incredibly gentle with other animals. Because we also have a one year old son in the home, I’m extremely intentional about supervision and boundaries at all times. My son is very gentle and loves animals, but he is never around dogs without very close supervision. I have playpens, baby gates, and separate spaces throughout the home so I can safely attend to both children and pets without distractions, and I also have a kennel for Sophie if separation is ever needed. I only accept one client dog at a time and am very mindful about temperament so everyone stays safe, comfortable, and cared for.

“Absolutely amazing. I had so much peace of mind thanks to Sydney, and my cats seemed quite happy with her too! Plenty of pat pats given, playing some, and clean food/water/box. Will definitely be contacting her again for future pet sitting.”

About: Just relocated to TX from Salt Lake City and we are doing this! Grew up in Northern California, oldest daughter of animal lovers--dogs, cats, pigs, horses--and had zig zagged across the nation before finally settling in Salt Lake City, Utah for 26 years, 15 of which was dedicated to growing my own pet sitting business, 10 of those 15 years going full-time at it. Over the 10 full-time years, I was the sole proprietor and employee, gathering all new family info, communicating about dates and making sure the calendar is 100% accurate, doing every sit and organizing my days for time efficiency, and reaching out to families to ensure they know all is wonderful so they can enjoy (to the highest extent possible) their time away from their pet. Being the sole sitter for a business of that size was intense but from the depths of that intensity came truly profound connections with these pets and their families, as well as a lot of good humorous times. Which led to another business but I digress. Before I left Salt Lake City for my new venture in Austin-ish in June 2026, I was still sitting for over 60 families, some of whom had been with me for at least a decade. I am conscientious, joyful, observant, and above all attentive to the language of animals (e.g., their behavior) so as to forever reach towards getting to watch them fully experience the sense of trust and safety they deserve. I plan to work part-time in the public schools come fall so: Summer: I'm available nearly any time with no conflicts. Fall and Winter: I'll be available early mornings (5:30 a.m.) to about 10 a.m., and after school starting at 2 p.m. on up to 9 p.m. I can only do drop-in visits rather than boarding because my resident dogs aren't so keen on other canines, if you catch my drift. Wouldn't be a good fit, so to speak.
“Ande was a great choice! She is very professional and responsive and provides great feedback and photos. Ande is also super nice and helps put nervous pet parents at ease. This was our kitties first time alone and I was completely comfortable that he was taken care of. Thanks Ande!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Uhland with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
