“Amy was wonderful! She took great care of my kitties and sent us lots of photos and videos, which we loved. She was very thorough with Tofu’s medication, friendly, polite, and great at communicating. We felt very comfortable knowing our kitties were in good hands. We’d definitely book Amy again!”

About: Hello! My name is Jade and I would love to meet your furry friends! I started Rover a few years ago but had to stop due to time constraints from my full time job, but now I’m committing all my time to pet care. Currently, I have three cats and two dogs, who are all rescues. I’ve had both of my dogs since they were only a few months old. So I understand the trials and tribulations of puppyhood…puppy training, crate training, obedience training, and leash walking. Hiccup and Paris both love other dogs! They have experience with dogs of all sizes! Hiccup is more of a cuddler and couch potato. Paris is higher energy and loves to play. They would be so excited to have a dog come stay with them. Feel free to set up a meet and greet! I stay at home full time now and my husband also works from home. So your pet will have constant adult supervision during their stay. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced play area in my neighborhood. I also live really close to a large public park with walking trails.
About: I have grown up taking care of cats and dogs, and have a personal interest in animal behavior! In the middle of my psychology undergraduate degree, I take my work and compassion very seriously. And as a mother of 3 fur babies, I can assure the upmost amount of care from my end! I have plenty of time for your pet(s)! I am available 5 days out of the week, and am committed to making sure every minute is worth it for them and you! I am able to transport your pet to cooler and comfortable locations they may enjoy, or always stay in your neighborhood! I also accommodate to different communication methods and requests for your comfortability.
“Rory was great with my two small pups, and they're the skittish type! She was real sweet wuth them, and jept me in the loop through out the visits. I'll definitely be using her again <3”

“I can’t recommend her enough! We reached out at the last minute after another sitter failed to show up on time for our dog’s critical medication schedule. Our dog, Melo, has severe epilepsy, so his medication timing is extremely important. On top of that, I had several delays on my end while trying to finalize everything, and she was incredibly patient, understanding, and kind throughout the entire process. She never made me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing her, which I appreciated more than she probably knows. She arrived earlier than when she said she would, gave Melo his medication on time, and even stayed for slightly over 30 minutes instead of just giving meds and leaving. That extra care and compassion meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. She truly saved us in a stressful situation. If you need someone dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy-especially if your pet has medical needs- I would recommend her without hesitation. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again.”

“We had to replace our longtime go to sitter for Glady at the last minute for a week long trip. Kristie looked promising so we crossed our fingers and BOOM Gladys had a new bestie. We loved our daily updates and artistic photos of Glady, and felt so comfortable knowing everything was going smoothly while we were away. 15/10, would book again!”

“Stephanie always goes above and beyond to make sure our cat and home are just the way we left them. She is my go-to, don't even have to think twice about contacting her for drop-in vists. So glad we found her!”

“Landry was incredible. Every day and every visit went perfect. She arrived on time and stuck around longer than needed. She also reached out with a concern on older dog and offered an extra visit. I would recommend her to anyone over anything sitter I have used on the app.”

About: Hi I’m Hayley! I’ve been a compassionate animal lover my entire life. I grew up with cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs. My husband and I rescued our Evey at 3 months old and she’s now 9 years old! We take excellent care of her and she’s treated like part of the family. I know how stressful it can be to leave your fur baby with someone else while traveling, so that is why high quality attention and care is my priority. I like to keep you updated, sending plenty of photos and always communicating. I’m available for house-sits, drop in visits for cats as well as in home boarding for dogs. My husband works from home and I have a flexible schedule. Whether you have a younger high energy dog who needs lots of playtime and walks and exercise, or you have a senior dog who likes to cuddle and lounge around on the couch I’m here for you! I’m currently working part time so I do have plenty of time to play, take care of, and give attention to your doggies! A typical day if you’re boarding your dog at our house would be outdoor time first thing in the morning, breakfast, nap time, a walk late morning or evening depending on the Texas heat, relaxing inside, dinner, more outdoor time, play time, cuddles and bed. If you’ll be boarding at our home, we have a house that is set up perfectly for dogs and a large fenced in backyard for them to run and play safely. Someone is always out there with them whether it’s me or my husband Nathan. They get plenty of attention in our home since we are home all day.
“Page was excellent! She came to meet the cats and I before sitting them and it was super helpful to me. She was reliable & I can tell she loves and cares animals very much! I would definitely recommend working w Page!”

About: As a veterinary technician and future vet student, I have hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes, personalities, and medical needs — from healthy, energetic pets to sick or senior animals needing extra attention and patience. I grew up around animals and have raised my own dog since my first years of college, so I truly understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Whether it’s walks, medications, monitoring behavior, or simply giving them love and comfort, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I currently work full time as a veterinary technician, but I’m off every Tuesday and on the weekends as well! Weekends are way more flexible for me as I can fit in more time with pets. I believe pets are most comfortable in their own environment, so I always aim to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Whether that means sitting outside with them while they potty in the backyard, taking them on walks, sticking to specific feeding or medication schedules, or simply giving them company and affection, I’m happy to adapt to what your pet is used to. Every animal is different, and I take the time to learn their personality, needs, and routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home.

Again Erin made my pup's day by dropping in on them when I had a long day out of the house planned. She allowed me to slide the schedule a little bit which really helped. This made her visit line up with dinner time and I'm sure the girls love it. Thanks again Erin.

We used Michelle a second time so that we could go out on a long date night in Austin. This morning, I reviewed the security videos from last night to see how it went and came to the unfortunate realization that Michelle + treats + FURocious children = FUR babies. They were trying to bark and growl at Michelle, but they were wagging their tails and eating treats out of her hands. Michelle did a wonderful job taking care of our kids.

Christopher did an amazing job watching beaux. My dog beaux loved him and was very excited to meet and spend time with him. Christopher was also very helpful and communicated amazingly throughout the visits. He would send constant updates and pictures making the time away from my dog much easier! Thank you for all your help Christopher!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Mountain City with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
