About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Over the past year, I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience dog sitting and caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities, routines, and needs. From daily walks and playtime to meals, medications, cuddles, and overnight stays, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I love getting to know each dog individually and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether we’re out exploring, relaxing at home, or simply enjoying some extra attention, I’m happiest when I’m spending time with dogs. My goal is always for both the pups and their parents to feel happy, comfortable, and confident that they’re in good hands. I currently work a full-time job, so I’m typically away from home from 7-3 Monday through Thursday and home on Fridays and weekends. That said, I always make sure my pups are a priority and receive plenty of love, attention, and care. I have a secure, fenced-in yard and an 11-year-old dog named Maya who is friendly and would be happy to keep your pets company during their stay.

About: Hi! I’m Destiny – a lifelong animal lover and certified veterinary assistant. Growing up, I always had a soft spot for animals and knew from the time I was in kindergarten that I wanted to work with them. In high school, I spent all four years in a veterinary program and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant in May 2022. Since then, I’ve gained hands-on experience through multiple internships, working with dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. One of my most memorable moments was during my time at South Park Animal Hospital, where I helped care for an injured dog who had been hit by a car—and ended up adopting him myself! Today, I work full time at Banfield Pet Hospital where I have been since February 2024. I also care for local stray cats, making sure they’re fed and healthy. With my background in veterinary care, you can trust that your pets will be in safe, knowledgeable, and loving hands with me. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members and give them the same care and attention I give my own! I’m currently working a full time job but am usually off after 6:30pm ! I am typically available before/after work or during my lunch break depending on where you are located. I have a fenced home with one dog and 9 chickens. I love going outside to play with my dog but I also don't mind playing inside either !

About: Dogs love me, and I love dogs. I've practically had dogs as pets my entire life. I volunteer at SAPA (San Antonio Pets Alive) to help the needy dogs, as well as donate money and food to local shelters. I basically love pets... dogs AND cats. I go to my parent's house often, and take their dogs for walks... one of which my parents recently rescued. The other has diabetes and is getting very old for a dog. I also used to live with my brother for 2 years, and he had two pit bulls (excellent dogs, by the way)... along with a Jack Russell Terrior. My brother passed away though, less than 3 years ago, and having to give those dogs to another family was absolutely heartbreaking. I still keep up, though, to make sure they're doing fine. I'm having trouble getting in touch with the family, though, and it really worries me...

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. My family has a 14-year-old poodle mix named Snowy back home in Houston, so I’m very comfortable providing patient, gentle, and attentive care for senior dogs. I also have experience with younger dogs through my cousin’s puppy, who is now a large Goldendoodle, such a cutie and still a baby at heart! ❤️ I also live with my roommate’s three Chihuahuas, who are 2, 8, and 13 years old, which has given me experience with dogs at different stages of life. My friends and family regularly trust me to take care of their pets when they travel or go out of town, so I’m used to being responsible for their routines and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. Caring for them brings me joy. I know how to connect with animals in a way where they feel comfortable and safe. I have taken care of many different dogs and cats from old to young, small to big. I am also experienced giving animals medication, if this is needed. There are no other pets, so you don’t have to worry about other dogs or cats! Our back yard is a fenced yard if the dog wants to roam around and play. I also have a great neighborhood and surrounding areas to safely walk around. I’m at home all week and never leave the house for too long, usually just groceries or errands. I only take care of one pet at a time. I always keep a close eye on the animal and treat it just like family. Your pet will always be treated with care. Guidelines that are given will be followed consistently throughout the pets stay.

About: I have background experience in administering medication, wrapping wounds and implementing dog cones. I am a loving pet sitter who will go above and beyond for your pet’s needs. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to have open availability when it comes to your pet care needs. I am typically available on a short notice! About: I grew up surrounded by animals. I've taken care of dogs, cats, goats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more. I have a particular soft spot for rats because I kept them as pets for over a decade. I also rehabilitated a couple of red-eared sliders growing up, have had some experience caring for bearded dragons, and had a pet tarantula many years ago. As of recently, I've started volunteering with a Texas wildlife rescue and rehabilitation facility in Kendalia, Texas. Suffice to say, my love of animals runs deep. My experience is relatively varied, and whether you want me to farm-sit or dog-sit, I am both excited and prepared to do either. I volunteer weekly for Kendalia Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, where I am surrounded by many different kinds of animals, and I am constantly learning new things about their care needs. Over the summer, when I return to my family, I resume my usual responsibilities and mix pig feed, feed out hay to our goats, put up the chickens, clean as and where it's needed, and make sure that everybody's water is always clean and topped off. The routines surrounding these animals are second-nature to me, and I'm very comfortable around them, and find time spent looking out for them to be very fulfilling. I think it's very important to engage with the animals under my care, and I understand that that can look a bit different for each animal. If I'm going to be caring for cats, then I'll be sure to take the time to wiggle a cat wand or wave a laser pointer around. They will also absolutely get an occasional Churu as long as that's an acceptable treat. For dogs, I'm going to make sure I take ample time to play fetch with them, and that they get a nice long walk each day at least once.

About: I've taken care of animals for over 12 years and have volunteered countless hours at the shelter. I currently do not have a pet but I offer my services to friends and family regularly. I am free to make my own schedule since I am self employed. If your pet has any special needs I will do my best to take care of them like they are part of my family and make them feel like they are at their home. I live in a fenced apartment complex with a dog park so I will take your dogs out frequently to enjoy the outside. I am a few minutes from the city's dog park and there are multiple trails in my surrounding area that we will go to. I can visit your pets at your home and make sure they are all doing well. I will do my best to make them feel as comfortable as possible and make them feel they are not left alone.

About: I’ve had experience pet sitting as well as pet owning. I’ve also done a microchip and tagging clinic at the Austin Animal Center. I have two dogs of my own - 8 and 16 - so I have experience taking care of dogs of all ages. I have full time classes during the week, but I am free Friday Saturday Sunday for house sitting, dog walking, and drop-ins! “Mara was great with our cats from the moment she arrived for the meet and greet. Both cats were friendly with her on day one, which isn’t typical for our cats. One or both of them usually takes a moment to warm up to new people. That put me at ease right away. I appreciated how thorough she was in asking questions to understand our cats’ needs while we were out of town. We were gone for two weeks, and Mara dropped in each day and stayed a few nights. When we came home, our cats were happy and healthy, and our home was well maintained. She even offered to water our plants while we were away, so those were happy and healthy when we returned as well! We’d absolutely book with Mara again. She gave us peace of mind while we were away from home so we could enjoy our time with family and be present.”
