“Best Rover ever! Alex has watched our cat Mika several times now and always takes care of her like she's his own cat. He has watched her overnight before and we feel confident she is safe, happy, and has a clean litter box! We get many pictures and updates each day, and we can tell she really likes Alex from all of the pictures of Mika on his lap and shoulders. Great prices and really helpful that he's been able to watch her even on last minute notice. Thank you Alex!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since my late teens from volunteering at shelters to pet sitting I've done it all! I've taken care of pups from Chihuahuas to Cane Corso's. I also have years of professional experience after working as a receptionist in an animal hospital to now helping manage a dog boarding, daycare and grooming facility in downtown Austin! I do work full time in Austin Sun-Thurs 9-5 however before work, after work and on my days off I have fully dedicated to making sure your pup is loved and well taken care of, however that looks like such as hour long walks or cuddles on the couch, I can do it all! I am trained in Pet CPR However I have not updated my certification, I treat your fur babies how I expect mine to be treated. In a way that keeps them safe, happy, and healthy. I will also send daily updates to let you know how everyone is to keep your mind at ease.

About: Raised around dogs my entire life, my family and friends have consistently trusted me to care for their canine family. I have a two year old GSD of my own whom I share with my best friend who is the sweetest and most loving dog you will ever meet. Pet sitting is a priority on my schedule, so I will always find the time that is necessary to advocate for you and your pets! I always start my routine by opening doors slowly to make sure nobody escapes. I clean litter boxes daily, even if it isn’t necessary. For male cats, I am always making sure they’ve used the restroom within the past 24 hours, in order to avoid urinary tract issues. If the kitty doesn’t seem to be in a playful mood, I always make sure to maintain space to allow them to approach me on their own accord. I have two female cats of my own, and all of my daily sitter habits reflect to them as well. I go above and beyond to make sure your furry friends are safe and happy.
About: Hi there! I love all types of animals, big and small, which is why I love to do this for work. I have experience in administering shots and pills to stubborn babies, such as my elderly soul dog who was diabetic. I have trained 2 german shepard since they were puppies, so trust that I can handle a high energy, snappy puppy. I have experience with caring for disabled dogs and am willing to put in whatever work I need to do to make them feel that they can still have just as much fun! I would love the opportunity to care for your dogs! I’m currently working part-time and I am in college. I have time to care for animals in the afternoon most days and early in the morning. On the weekends I have much more time to take care of your little ones! I think that the key to keeping any animal safe is being able to read their body language. This is something that I pay attention to and notice the smallest hint of stress. Doing this enables me to communicate with animals because they are always trying to tell you something. I try to only walk animals when the concrete is cool enough for their little paws. I have had to break up many a dog fight and the best way that I have found so far is to clap to distract them then separate as soon as possible. I keep charcoal on me just in case any animal eats something that they are not allowed to because this does happen more often when their parents are away. I am always keeping animals safety in mind when I am caring for them and treat them like my own little babies.
About: I've dedicated years to providing reliable and attentive care for cats of all temperaments. My experience includes overseeing feeding schedules, meticulously cleaning litter boxes, engaging in playtime, and providing the quiet companionship many cats enjoy. I understand that cats thrive on routine and comfort, and I am committed to maintaining their familiar environment, offering consistent updates, and ensuring their well-being is my top priority while you're away." Beyond my dedication to providing exceptional pet care, my professional pursuits also extend to contributing creatively and logistically to various productions within the dynamic and fast-paced film industry. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are my absolute highest priorities. I am committed to providing a secure and nurturing environment, treating every animal as if they were my own. My approach emphasizes strict adherence to routines, clear communication with pet parents, and a vigilant eye for any changes in behavior or health. You can rest assured that I am dedicated to maintaining your trust through transparent, reliable, and loving care.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—furred, feathered, and even aquatic—so caring for pets feels very natural to me. I raised my own dog from the time she was about 2 months old, and she’s now 5, so I have plenty of hands-on experience with puppy training, daily routines, and long-term care. I also help my boyfriend with his dogs, including caring for puppies as well as his three adult dogs, which has given me experience handling multiple dogs with different personalities at once. I’m currently a college student, but I have a very flexible schedule. I especially enjoy night time walks and early morning walks. I am adaptable and can work around any needed scheduled to ensure your pet's absolute enrichment and care. I care for pets by creating a calm, safe, and predictable environment—whether in my home a client’s, or out and about walking, while following each pet’s routine as closely as possible.
About: I’ve always taken care of neighbors and friends dogs growing up and I take my own dogs on long walks at the park and make sure to feed them the best food we can. I love giving them baths and training them! I’m currently working a weekday job from 12 to 4 so early mornings, evenings and weekends I’m completely available to watch your creatures or/critters I have two dogs who enjoy just under an acre of fenced in yard, my husky loves to hunt lizards but my Aussie always scares them off!

About: I grew up with a dog until I was 18 (Westie - Minnie) and then after college was adopted by a wonderful rescue sphynx (PyeWacket). Over then next 20 or so years I have had 4 sphyx cats (PyeWacket, Forty Two, Tesla and Cairo) and 1 Lyikoi (Cypher). Over the last year my house has had 4 puppies (from 8 weeks), 2 turtles, 2 Guinea pigs, 2 full size dogs 6 cats and multiple fish. I also often house sit for a very smart chihuahua named Mazie. Currently in between jobs so my schedule is fairly open. Like early and late walks due to the heat but open for anything. Open to late night feedings if needed. I treat your animals like they were my own. Love to play, hang out and what ever your little one needs. Need to make sure they know they are loved.
“Rebekah was absolutely amazing! Her communication was fantastic, she really took care of my babies like they were her own! I recommend booking her, you won’t be disappointed! I will be booking her in the future!”

About: Dogs love me, and I love dogs. I've practically had dogs as pets my entire life. I volunteer at SAPA (San Antonio Pets Alive) to help the needy dogs, as well as donate money and food to local shelters. I basically love pets... dogs AND cats. I go to my parent's house often, and take their dogs for walks... one of which my parents recently rescued. The other has diabetes and is getting very old for a dog. I also used to live with my brother for 2 years, and he had two pit bulls (excellent dogs, by the way)... along with a Jack Russell Terrior. My brother passed away though, less than 3 years ago, and having to give those dogs to another family was absolutely heartbreaking. I still keep up, though, to make sure they're doing fine. I'm having trouble getting in touch with the family, though, and it really worries me...
About: I have always loved animals and enjoy spending time with them. What sets me apart is my sense of compassion and kindness for animals. It’s my belief that all animals are deserving of love and respect, and it brings me great joy to be able to share love with them. I’m currently taking online classes at Bellevue college. I have lots of free time on my hands and love spending that time with as many animals as possible. I care very deeply for animals, I tend to go above and beyond when it comes to caring for peoples animals. I love getting them new toys and healthy treats. I also respect the homes that I dog sit in, always making sure that I leave the homes cleaner then when I arrived.

About: Animals have been at the center of my world for as long as I can remember; I grew up in a family that owned cats since before I was born, and I’ve been learning how to care for them since early childhood—even hand-rearing a newborn kitten when I was just 12. Today, I care for my own two cats, look after four more for senior family members, and have regularly dog-sat a friend's Corgi for nearly two years. I'm currently working a flexible schedule. So I have plenty of opportunity to help out with your pets and whichever needs they may have. I have a great dog park at my apartment. I have all of the necessary skills and equipment to take care of your fur baby. I also have 2 cats that can keep your pet company, but I can easily isolate them if necessary.

“Emily is absolutely amazing! She is a true professional and great communicator who gave extensive updates and photos during the visit. Emily is also very trust worthy and I feel comfortable having her visit the house. Most importantly, she gives me peace of mind to be away by providing exceptional care and love to my Penny.”

About: I’ve had dogs in the home since I was born and have been professionally pet sitting for over five years. Whether it’s a dog or a cat, I treat your pet like my own while we’re together - making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I know how important peace of mind is while you’re away, so I keep communication open and prompt, and you can always count on photo updates of your furry friend! Since I work remotely from home, I’m super flexible and always around! I’m available for morning walks, breakfast and playtime, plus midday and evening care. The best part about pet sitting is having a furry buddy to keep me company during the day - whether we’re getting outside for a walk or just hanging out while I work on my computer. With over 20 years of experience around dogs, I’ve truly seen it all…from administering medications to providing loving daily care. I’m happy to follow your dog’s routine, including feeding times, walks, and any special needs. Plus, I love getting outside for walks and making sure your pup feels happy, healthy, and well cared for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Driftwood
Megan was great with Bruno! You can tell that she has a lot of experience with dogs since she understands different body language and behaviors. She is definitely a dog person and we love that. She was responsible with her visits, reliable and took good care of our dog and our home. She would speak to Bruno in a very kind way, give him belly rubs and play with him! Thank you Megan for taking such good care of our Bruno! Woof!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
