She was easy to talk to, had good communication during our time away, and went out of her way to care for our dog, Jovi (who can be a bit of a handful and hard to walk sometimes!). She even went out of her way to take him to his favorite park/trail one of the evenings. The coolest thing was finding out she had cared for Jovi when he was a puppy before we adopted him (we’ve had him since he was 1 year old). His previous owner had also contacted Christine for dog sitting, and she was able to look back through her pictures and find young puppy photos of our Jovi! About: I have grown up around animals and currently care for four cats, so pet care has always been a big part of my daily life! Over the years, I’ve also helped neighbors with dog walking and pet sitting, and volunteered with animal shelters, which have given me hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and temperaments. I especially enjoy working with cats and have experience with all ages and backgrounds, including cats with specific medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable with administering oral and injectable medications, and I’m very attentive to routine, comfort, and stress levels, especially for anxious pets. In addition to cat care, I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. Currently, I am most familiar with Labs and Doodles, but have experience walking dogs of different sizes (including puppies!) and breeds through pet sitting and helping neighbors, and I’m confident handling structured walks and daily care routines. I currently work part-time and am in college, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide consistent communication and frequent updates while I’m with your pets! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and prioritize their normal routine so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. At this time, I am not boarding dogs in my home. For cat boarding, however, I provide a calm, indoor-focused environment where safety and supervision are always the priority.
