“Duncan was great with our crew of 3 big pups, including an 8 month old rowdy puppy! We couldn’t have asked for more. You could tell the dogs had a great time and I was able to relax and enjoy myself knowing they were in great hands. Definitely rebooking! You’re lucky if he can fit you into his schedule ❤️”

“Alex did a great job taking care of our Marlee! We loved the multiple daily updates with pictures. He was very respectful of our home and left it in pristine condition as well as bringing in packages and checking our mail. We know Marlee had a great time with Alex while we were away. Highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.”

“Jessica is the best! My pups love her, she sends beautiful photos at reliable intervals, and she left our home spotless. I know when I leave my dogs in her hands that they are being walked, played with, and loved. Can’t recommend her enough.”

“Carla was great - very communicative, sent us updates, and most importantly took great care of our dog Mabel! We will definitely see if she can stay with Mabel again in the future!”

About: I am a professional house/pet sitter, which has given me a ton of experience with a wide variety of pets around the country. I have taken care of multiple cats and dogs, and also solo animals in 9 different states. I am no stranger to following a pet owners routine, and ensuring 100% that your animal is comfortable. Senior pups are very dear to my heart, as I had a 15 year old rescue that took medicine throughout the day for CHF. I work remotely and travel full time around the country to pet/house sit (sometimes out of country). With that being said, my schedule is completely open to stop-in’s or walks throughout the day. I am open to over-night sits with enough notice in advance. I will follow the pets routine exactly how the owner would like. Walks, stop-ins, and any regular scheduled activities would be entirely in compliance with the owners needs. I am open to providing real-time updates throughout my time with the animal in order to further the peace of mind of the owner.
“This was our first time using Corina and she was great! Fantastic communication daily. She sent pics of our pets every morning and every evening. She was very respectful of our home. It is obvious that our pets were well cared for and happy. We have already booked her for another three dates. She is now our go to sitter!”

“She was amazing! She sent me pictures and made sure to let me know what was going on when I asked. She was also very understanding when I couldn’t answer sometimes due to being in a no phone zone. She left my apartment how I left with I deeply appreciated! Best sitter I’ve ever had, and I will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: Hello! My name is Jordan and I'm looking to pet sit for you and your loved ones. I've cared for puppies and elderly dogs, shy and outgoing dogs, and dogs of all breeds and needs. No matter the type of dog(s) you have, I look forward to befriending and caring for them! I make sure to listen to your dog’s body language to see what they are asking for. Their tails, eyes, and body is their way of communicating their needs, wants, and feelings. Alongside their body language, I'll also follow any directions and make sure they feel safe and content by replicating their usual schedule. I don't mind taking care of chores around the house, like watering your plants or checking the mail. I will also make sure to send lots of pictures, videos, and updates to keep your heart at ease. A little about me: I am a 25 year old digital artist and a graduate from Kennesaw State University. I lived in Georgia all of my life until I moved here in 2024 with my partner. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, playing video games, reading, and baking. I’m thankful to say that pet sitting is currently my full time job! I’ve had lots of luck as a cat sitter on Meowtel and would like to expand my services to this platform, too. I usually plan my days around my clients’ schedules, meaning I can take care of your pet at any time. The safety and comfort of your loved ones are a priority of mine, so I try to stick to their usual schedule. Whether that means feeding times that come early in the morning or in the middle of rush hour! I’ve got you and your furry friend’s back. I always prioritize safety and trust when it comes to animals. Animals are very sensitive to change, especially because we can’t communicate to them what’s going on (not yet, at least.) For that reason, I try to bring in a positive and calm attitude, letting your pet decide what they are comfortable with and making sure they know I’m not a threat. I do this by moving confidently, but not quickly. I don’t make loud noises and I make sure your pet knows where I am. It’s important to me that they don’t think I’m trying to sneak around and to make sure they feel included with whatever I’m doing around their own environment. I give them space and don’t try to force any affection from them. If they want pets, I trust they will ask for them!

About: **please make sure you are within my service area before sending a booking request** I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live on 10 acres in Wimberley. My property is fenced, but because some dogs won’t obey commands from those other than their family and might behave differently in a foreign environment I do not let them off leash. My home and porch are spacious so there is a lot of room to play. (I do have plans to securely fence in a dog area on the ranch, and will be sure to mention it when I do). If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home (which is fine since I work from home much of the time), so your dogs will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. I also have a variety of toys for dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls. I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request.
“Lilyanna did a great job staying at our home and watching our 2 pups. She kept me updated throughout her stay and all was good when we returned home! We will def use her again!”

About: I’ve had experience dog sitting for my neighbors for several occasions for the past three years, basic potty breaks and feeding every morning, afternoon, and evening. I’ve also have experience with house sitting and yard care. Throughout my life I’ve had dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments, so I can adjust to whatever needs your pooch needs. I’m currently a commuting college student at Texas state, so I’m pretty used to driving distances during my day to day life. During the weekdays my classes start early morning and end around noon, so from 11am to 2pm onward I’m free for your pup(s)! For food and potty break drop ins I’ll let your pooch out/ feed them in the morning at 6:30 to 7:00 in the morning, then a second time around 11:00 to 2pm depending on the day of the week, and then a third time around 7:00 pm. For overnight stays I’ll let your pup out for a potty break and breakfast at 6:30 to 7:00am before I have to leave for classes, during the time I’m away your pet will be in the crate or free roaming depending on your crate policy. I’ll return around 11am to 2pm and let your dog out the crate and walk them. I can also do general cleaning and maintenance around the house.

“Samantha did a great job taking care of our two pups at our house. We came home to find happy pups and a well taken care of house. Good communication during the sitting. We plan to hire her again and would recommend to anyone else.”

“Sage was incredible!! They instantly bonded with our dogs, a feat for two anxious girlies who don’t warm up to strangers easily. They sent lots of photos and took the girls on daily walks. They left our home so spotless and went above and beyond and laundered our sheets and ran the dishwasher. You can tell they really just love animals so dearly, and we are so grateful that our girls had someone as loving and kind as Sage to watch them while we were away. We hope to use them again in the future!”

“Our dog does not like people other than my wife really. But she took to Christine on day one and was climbing into her lap that night. It is such a relief to know someone who gets along with our dog is taking care of them. Would definitely hire again!”

Susan is a premier sitter in my book. She attended to every detail that I requested. She sent endearing pictures of Bandit having a great time. She reinforced Bandit's training. And she was a delight to meet. I wish her the very best on the next leg of her journey. Thank you for her! Susen
Highly recommend Finley! She stayed in our home with our 2 large dogs for 3 nights. She sent me lots of photos and was a wonderful communicator. She treated our home with respect and I have no doubt the dogs were very well taken care of. We would absolutely have her back again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Woodcreek walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Woodcreek maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Woodcreek choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
