About: **please make sure you are within my service area before sending a booking request** I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live on 10 acres in Wimberley. My property is fenced, but because some dogs won’t obey commands from those other than their family and might behave differently in a foreign environment I do not let them off leash. My home and porch are spacious so there is a lot of room to play. (I do have plans to securely fence in a dog area on the ranch, and will be sure to mention it when I do). If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home (which is fine since I work from home much of the time), so your dogs will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. I also have a variety of toys for dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls. I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. About: I have grown up around animals and currently care for four cats, so pet care has always been a big part of my daily life! Over the years, I’ve also helped neighbors with dog walking and pet sitting, and volunteered with animal shelters, which have given me hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and temperaments. I especially enjoy working with cats and have experience with all ages and backgrounds, including cats with specific medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable with administering oral and injectable medications, and I’m very attentive to routine, comfort, and stress levels, especially for anxious pets. In addition to cat care, I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. Currently, I am most familiar with Labs and Doodles, but have experience walking dogs of different sizes (including puppies!) and breeds through pet sitting and helping neighbors, and I’m confident handling structured walks and daily care routines. I currently work part-time and am in college, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide consistent communication and frequent updates while I’m with your pets! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and prioritize their normal routine so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. At this time, I am not boarding dogs in my home. For cat boarding, however, I provide a calm, indoor-focused environment where safety and supervision are always the priority.

About: We have a 5 year old Labrador who loves playing with other dogs in our fenced in backyard. I am at home with our two year old son and we are taking one dog at a time right now. My husband and I have grown up with dogs and absolutely love taking them on daily walks and adventures with our son. Our home is your dogs home away from home ❤️ I am currently at home with our two year old son while my husband works out of the house so there is always someone home to play with and take care of the dogs. I have a fenced yard and plenty of space for your dog to run around outside. Our home is also in a safe neighborhood with plenty of trails to go on long walks if that is something you wish for your pet. We let our 4 year old Labrador on our furniture so yours will be free to go where ever they please or you are welcome to bring a crate or bed for at night.

About: I got my first cat when I was just 8 years old, gaining full responsibility of her at 10 years old. I am now 19 years old and have had the pleasure of taking care of hundreds of pets (mostly dogs)! For about 6 months I was a kennel technician for a kennel which generally had about 60+ dogs in it. I bonded so much with every dog, most breaks I would just go into a kennel of dog who might've been skittish and try to bond, they really liked that. At this job, I mostly cleaned kennels but also fed dogs/cats their specific food requests and documented it on sheets. On the other hand, I was a dog caretaker at a small business in Austin where I would take up to 7 well-behaved dogs (that's all my car could fit!) to a nearby trail and let them off leash to explore. At the commercial space, I monitored 15+ dogs playing, making sure no one got hurt (or somewhere they shouldn't be!). This job taught me the most about dogs and dog behavior. I'm currently living in Austin with a part time job I limit to Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. So, I prefer to reserve Mondays and Wednesdays for taking care of furry friends! This helps keeps my days organized. Currently, I have lots of availability for evening walks on Mondays and Wednesdays I love animals! I will give your pet lots of love and do as intstructed, whatever is needed! If you request that I give your pet a special treat, I will. I have learned behaviors of pets over the years that I have cared for them, every pet is different but I learn quickly! I will not be able to house your pet because I live in a dorm.

About: I provide care for all types of pets! (Dogs, cats, fish, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, horses, donkeys, goats, etc.) I have a certification to administer CPR for dogs and cats, valid until November 2027. I was trained in 2015 for dog safety and care, prior to working at a dog park I have 3 years of experience caring for an elderly dog with dementia and several years of experience caring for blind dogs. I spent two years caring for an elderly dog (cataracts), and a younger dog since 2021 (pannus) I have 5 years of experience with puppy care and training. I require a command word list prior to caring for puppies to ensure the dog is not confused and the training process is not subverted I have cared for horses, donkeys, goats, and chickens since 2006. I am comfortable feeding farm animals, and I can groom horses for an additional fee. In-person meet and greets are required prior to an initial booking for farm animals I have very little experience caring for birds, snakes, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I will gladly assist with caring for your small mammals, birds, and reptiles. I just ask that we have an in-person meet and greet beforehand to ensure I provide proper care I currently own a cat, 2 dogs, fish, and chickens I work from home and I have a very flexible schedule. I offer same day bookings to ensure all pets are taken care of, especially something unexpected pops up and your pet needs someone to stop by and make sure all of their needs are met I am CPR certified for canines and felines through the RECOVER Initiative, which is recognized by ACVECC (American College of Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care) and VECCS (Veterinary Emergency Critical Care Society). My CPR certification is valid until November 2027 I prefer all clients provide a command word list when booking, to ensure I'm speaking your pet's lingo. A command word list is required for dogs under the age of 12 months. As dogs are still in the training process, commands must be consistent to prevent issues Please advise if there are any triggers for your pets, such as areas they don't like to be pet, reactive behaviors or tense situations your pet has experienced so I can ensure to assist your pet in avoiding an environment they deem stressful or dangerous (Examples: other dogs, cats, wild animals, cars, lawn equipment, people wearing hats, etc.)
