About: I’ve been around dogs for years and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to seniors who need a little extra attention and patience. I’m comfortable with basic puppy training, maintaining routines, and making sure each dog gets the care, exercise, and attention they’re used to. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention. “Working with Jessica was a dream! She came over to our house a few days prior to meet the dogs. They loved her. As I shared instructions, she digested all the info in one go and executed on them so well. We didn’t have to repeat ourselves at all — impressive! While we were away, she gave us regular sweet updates and was very independent. When the dogs did unruly things (like my pyrenees pulling her into a nearby body of water for an unexpected swim), she stayed upbeat and had the situation totally handled before contacting us. We felt in very good hands. When we came back, our house looked great! Towels cleaned, bed stripped, floor swept, and even some veggies shared from her garden 🤗 We hope to book Jessica again for our next trip.”

I always prioritize safety and trust when it comes to animals. Animals are very sensitive to change, especially because we can’t communicate to them what’s going on (not yet, at least.) For that reason, I try to bring in a positive and calm attitude, letting your pet decide what they are comfortable with and making sure they know I’m not a threat. I do this by moving confidently, but not quickly. I don’t make loud noises and I make sure your pet knows where I am. It’s important to me that they don’t think I’m trying to sneak around and to make sure they feel included with whatever I’m doing around their own environment. I give them space and don’t try to force any affection from them. If they want pets, I trust they will ask for them!

About: I grew up with several dogs and cats in the family home. I have raised and trained a Doberman, so I know what it takes to teach them obedience and the importance of consistency. I love animals so much, they bring me so much joy. Fun fact: when I was a little girl I wanted to be a veterinarian. I feel that I have a special connection with animals; they are usually naturally drawn to me. I didn’t pursue a career as a veterinarian because I had other interests. I currently don’t have any animals because I enjoy the flexibility. I would love to take care of your animals and treat them with extra special care. I am currently working part time and would have the time to care for your pet(s) after work or on my days off. I currently work a 2-3 days a week and am available by the afternoons on the days I am working. I typically pet sit in the owners home. I find that is more comfortable for them.
