About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover based in Granite Shoals near Marble Falls, and I’m happy to travel within an hour of the Austin area to care for your pup. I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly believe they’re family—not just pets. I currently share my home with Josie, my sweet 10-year-old Pug, and Bella, my energetic 2-year-old rescue Pit mix. Having dogs at very different life stages has given me experience with everything from senior care and slower-paced walks to playful energy and enrichment. Over the years, I’ve regularly helped friends care for their dogs—whether that meant walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company while their humans were away. I pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and genuinely loving toward every dog I meet. I live a healthy, active lifestyle and enjoy trail walks and neighborhood strolls, always tailoring activity levels to each dog’s needs, age, and personality. About: I grew up with several dogs and cats in the family home. I have raised and trained a Doberman, so I know what it takes to teach them obedience and the importance of consistency. I love animals so much, they bring me so much joy. Fun fact: when I was a little girl I wanted to be a veterinarian. I feel that I have a special connection with animals; they are usually naturally drawn to me. I didn’t pursue a career as a veterinarian because I had other interests. I currently don’t have any animals because I enjoy the flexibility. I would love to take care of your animals and treat them with extra special care. I am currently working part time and would have the time to care for your pet(s) after work or on my days off. I currently work a 2-3 days a week and am available by the afternoons on the days I am working. I typically pet sit in the owners home. I find that is more comfortable for them. I am not currently able to have pets where I live.

About: I am interested in longer stays with pets and property that are high in value. If you need someone with maturity and experience to look after your dear pet and property diligently then I am your choice. I communicate very frequently (daily) with photos and updates unless you prefer otherwise. Often sitting with my teenager, we provide great love, care and exercise to your pet while also bringing years of property ownership experience to our assignments. I have an exceptional reputation among pet owners for whom I have pet sat through Trusted Housesitters. As a remote part time professional with my own consulting firm I am able to be attentive to your home and pets. I often have my daughter with me but I understand that I am responsible for all home and pet care directly and that my teen is not left to attend to these responsibilities. I enjoy training puppies if need be and am comfortable administering most meds. I have experience with most types of pets and some farm animals. We are excited to support you, your pets and your beautiful property while you are away. We are open to travel to your location for a great stay. As an entrepreneur who works remote I am available to be very attentive to your home and pets. I usually start the day early with pet care and walks as needed. Then I spend an hour on the computer with work. I will have 5 to 7 hours of Video meetings per week. My unique work schedule is what makes these opportunities such a great fit. I care for pets in their own home as per their owners instructions. I am diligent to provide the kind of loving care that the pet is accustomed to.

About: DOGS WITHOUT LOVE ARE LIKE HUMANS WITHOUT PURPOSE! I absolutely love dogs. I have a thirteen year old miniature Australian Shepard who thinks he is my third child and is treated as such. I am 47 years old and have a rewarding career in plastic/reconstructive surgery, but also realize that caring for fur babies is yet another true passion in which I truly enjoy! Fur babies need lots of love and attention as well as activity through play dates, park time, hiking, walking swimming etc. Additional Services Include: Groomer drop off and pick up, vet visit transportation and attendance, medication administration and bathing are also offered. I am also available for meet and greets preceding scheduled services. I am available on nights, weekends and holidays. I DO NOT board more than one family’s dogs at a time. Therefore, you do not have to worry about safety. It is in the best interest of your fur baby to not be exposed to others in which could result in physical injury and or harm and or contagious illnesses. Rest assured, your fur babies are completely safe with me. Pictures and reports of your fur babies are sent to you on a daily basis! Fur babies should feel loved and cared for in the absence of their owners much like a doggie vaca! An experienced pet sitter that you can get to know, trust and feel comfortable with whom is much like family is a necessity! I work in the medical field and have the ability to adjust my flexible schedule to accommodate my pet clients needs and or requests on a client to client basis. At the present time-I am not offering boarding services in my home. I believe pets feel more comfortable and at ease in their own homes where they are familiar with their surroundings and specific care instructions will vary per client request which is discussed during our meet and greet session.

“We had one of the best experiences with Laura. Our dogs can be a bit high-maintenance; two of them are older (12 & 9), and our 5-year-old is a chronic shedding machine! But they make up for it with lots of love :). Regardless, it is more work, and Laura cared for them as if they were her own. I also appreciated her professionalism in asking questions if I left something out or wasn't clear; she was observant, timely, and reliable. Laura possesses that rare 'dog-whisperer' kindness/love that kept our fur babies at ease for the four days we were gone.
