About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover based in Granite Shoals near Marble Falls, and I’m happy to travel within an hour of the Austin area to care for your pup. I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly believe they’re family—not just pets. I currently share my home with Josie, my sweet 10-year-old Pug, and Bella, my energetic 2-year-old rescue Pit mix. Having dogs at very different life stages has given me experience with everything from senior care and slower-paced walks to playful energy and enrichment. “Kayla was AMAZING. We had never left our animals before (three Aussies, two lizards, and a parakeet), so we were nervous about how they would respond for someone completely new. To summarize, I’m pretty sure they never even blinked at eye at us being gone for a week because they were so happy and well taken care of by Kayla! Every photo she sent (we received daily check-ins!) they were smiling away without a care in the world! We were instantly relieved and felt completely at ease knowing they were so happy. We also had a major plumbing emergency at our home while we were away, and Kayla took care of everything! Even though our home was new to her at the time of the emergency, it was only her first day there, she immediately located our main water line, shut everything off, moved our antique furniture to ensure it wasn’t damaged, and even stayed and communicated with our plumber through the entire thing! Because of her extremely quick response and action, our home was spared from major damage. We are so grateful that we have found her, and we will definitely be asking her back the next time we need our beloved animals and home cared for!”

About: I provide care for all types of pets! (Dogs, cats, fish, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, horses, donkeys, goats, etc.) I have a certification to administer CPR for dogs and cats, valid until November 2027. I was trained in 2015 for dog safety and care, prior to working at a dog park I have 3 years of experience caring for an elderly dog with dementia and several years of experience caring for blind dogs. I spent two years caring for an elderly dog (cataracts), and a younger dog since 2021 (pannus) I have 5 years of experience with puppy care and training. I require a command word list prior to caring for puppies to ensure the dog is not confused and the training process is not subverted I have cared for horses, donkeys, goats, and chickens since 2006. I am comfortable feeding farm animals, and I can groom horses for an additional fee. In-person meet and greets are required prior to an initial booking for farm animals I have very little experience caring for birds, snakes, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I will gladly assist with caring for your small mammals, birds, and reptiles. I just ask that we have an in-person meet and greet beforehand to ensure I provide proper care I currently own a cat, 2 dogs, fish, and chickens I work from home and I have a very flexible schedule. I offer same day bookings to ensure all pets are taken care of, especially something unexpected pops up and your pet needs someone to stop by and make sure all of their needs are met I am CPR certified for canines and felines through the RECOVER Initiative, which is recognized by ACVECC (American College of Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care) and VECCS (Veterinary Emergency Critical Care Society). My CPR certification is valid until November 2027 I prefer all clients provide a command word list when booking, to ensure I'm speaking your pet's lingo. A command word list is required for dogs under the age of 12 months. As dogs are still in the training process, commands must be consistent to prevent issues Please advise if there are any triggers for your pets, such as areas they don't like to be pet, reactive behaviors or tense situations your pet has experienced so I can ensure to assist your pet in avoiding an environment they deem stressful or dangerous (Examples: other dogs, cats, wild animals, cars, lawn equipment, people wearing hats, etc.)

About: DOGS WITHOUT LOVE ARE LIKE HUMANS WITHOUT PURPOSE! I absolutely love dogs. I have a thirteen year old miniature Australian Shepard who thinks he is my third child and is treated as such. I am 47 years old and have a rewarding career in plastic/reconstructive surgery, but also realize that caring for fur babies is yet another true passion in which I truly enjoy! Fur babies need lots of love and attention as well as activity through play dates, park time, hiking, walking swimming etc. Additional Services Include: Groomer drop off and pick up, vet visit transportation and attendance, medication administration and bathing are also offered. I am also available for meet and greets preceding scheduled services. I am available on nights, weekends and holidays. I DO NOT board more than one family’s dogs at a time. Therefore, you do not have to worry about safety. It is in the best interest of your fur baby to not be exposed to others in which could result in physical injury and or harm and or contagious illnesses. Rest assured, your fur babies are completely safe with me. Pictures and reports of your fur babies are sent to you on a daily basis! Fur babies should feel loved and cared for in the absence of their owners much like a doggie vaca! An experienced pet sitter that you can get to know, trust and feel comfortable with whom is much like family is a necessity! I work in the medical field and have the ability to adjust my flexible schedule to accommodate my pet clients needs and or requests on a client to client basis. At the present time-I am not offering boarding services in my home. I believe pets feel more comfortable and at ease in their own homes where they are familiar with their surroundings and specific care instructions will vary per client request which is discussed during our meet and greet session.
