During my time living in Bermuda, I’ve worked with numerous families as a pet sitter, taking care of about 10-13 animals in the span of 3 years from border terriers to Hungarian Vizsla to one cheeky Bengal kitty. In New York City, where I’m originally from, I was part of a cat boarding network called Kitty In NY, taking in few cats into my house for several weeks and giving them love while their owners were on vacation/ traveling for work. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live on 10 acres in Wimberley. My property is fenced, but because some dogs won’t obey commands from those other than their family and might behave differently in a foreign environment I do not let them off leash. My home and porch are spacious so there is a lot of room to play. (I do have plans to securely fence in a dog area on the ranch, and will be sure to mention it when I do). If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home (which is fine since I work from home much of the time), so your dogs will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. I also have a variety of toys for dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls. I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request.
“Victoria exceeded all expectations! I have 2 cats (15 & 6) that both required different levels of care and Victoria was able to handle both of them. She was very thorough in her prep and we had a video consult to go over all expectations, requests, questions, etc. She was detailed and asked questions I hadn’t even thought to cover. During the pet sitting, she kept me updated at all time and provided pictures to let me know the girls were doing okay. My 15 year old cat requires multiple medications that can sometimes be difficult to administer and she was able to administer with no issues. Nothing about this was a negative experience and I would recommend her to anyone!! I will definitely be rebooking her in the future.”

About: I have always been and animal person and I love all kinds of dogs. I love playing with then and making sure there always happy and in good shape. I have always had animals in my home since I was a baby and have leaned how to do basic training along with some potty training. I would be happy to help with that to if needed. I'm almost always home and I would love to meet new people and there animals. I'm a carry out going person and once dogs and people get to know me they all think the same to. About: I've helped to run a dog rescue and took in dogs and puppies of all sizes and shapes and backgrounds. I've helped to place dogs in their forever homes and fell in love with a few of them! I adopted my own pup back in 2013 and he was the best thing to ever happen to me. I saw him through puppy hood to senior dog to his retirement a couple months ago. :-( Having a dog around, your own or someone elses, is always this special sort of comfort you cant get from anywhere else. I'm very responsible when it comes to other peoples space and pets. I always make sure doors are shut / gates are locked and whatever other guidelines Im given are followed. Taking care of someone else's pet deserves the utmost respect. Same amount I would expect for my own dog. I am a massage therapist with a light schedule during the week so I have a lot of extra time to goto your home and care for your animals. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. Beyond all expectations! Kaitlyn is very personable and easy to work with. She took care of our two small, spoiled dogs (Zippy and Spunky) at our house. Our two girls are somewhat standoffish with others, but Kaitlyn won them over. She graciously agreed to share her bed with them. Zippy requires a number of medications to control seizures and Kaitlyn was willing and able.... also totally working with us to understand emergency procedures if Zippy had seizure(s), including willingness to transport to clinic if necessary. The house was perfect upon our return and dogs were obviously well cared for. Really appreciated updates and pictures of the girls while we were gone.
Kaitlyn took amazing care of our pup and was a great house guest. We loved receiving daily photo check-ins and updates as she took Nana out on walks and for play time. We would highly recommend Kaitlyn and look forward to having her watch Nana again in the future!
