I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live on 10 acres in Wimberley. My property is fenced, but because some dogs won’t obey commands from those other than their family and might behave differently in a foreign environment I do not let them off leash. My home and porch are spacious so there is a lot of room to play. (I do have plans to securely fence in a dog area on the ranch, and will be sure to mention it when I do). If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home (which is fine since I work from home much of the time), so your dogs will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. I also have a variety of toys for dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls. I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request.

I got tons of pictures and videos of El playing, rolling around in the sun, letting her scratch her belly, being a little ham!! She just had the best time with her new friend and I felt so comfortable and relieved knowing she was safe and happy. El takes lots of complicated meds and Jessica handled them like a seasoned pro - she gave them on time, just the right mount, everything was perfect. AND THEN!!! On top of being the best sitter on this planet, we came back to the house even cleaner than we left it! It was SO nice coming home from a trip to a happy dog and an uber clean house. During the pet sitting, she kept me updated at all time and provided pictures to let me know the girls were doing okay. My 15 year old cat requires multiple medications that can sometimes be difficult to administer and she was able to administer with no issues. Beyond all expectations! Kaitlyn is very personable and easy to work with. She took care of our two small, spoiled dogs (Zippy and Spunky) at our house. Our two girls are somewhat standoffish with others, but Kaitlyn won them over. She graciously agreed to share her bed with them. Zippy requires a number of medications to control seizures and Kaitlyn was willing and able.... also totally working with us to understand emergency procedures if Zippy had seizure(s), including willingness to transport to clinic if necessary. The house was perfect upon our return and dogs were obviously well cared for. Really appreciated updates and pictures of the girls while we were gone.
Kaitlyn took amazing care of our pup and was a great house guest. We loved receiving daily photo check-ins and updates as she took Nana out on walks and for play time. We would highly recommend Kaitlyn and look forward to having her watch Nana again in the future!
