House Sitting in San Marcos

“Duncan was my house sitter for several days. He is an excellent communicator who goes above and beyond. My dogs love him which is amazing. One of my dogs is quite skittish with men, but Duncan was patient and was able to pet him and made sure that he ate. Loved all of the pics that Duncan sent. It is very reassuring when you are away from home.”

“Deven is the best house/pet sitter I ever had . She really enjoys the dogs and goes out of her way to interact with them and make them happy . She is great with bully breeds and large dogs . She’s also great with senior dogs . She made my little 17 year old chihuahua man feel special taking him out in the sun and getting him to play . She also takes fantastic photos . If you are considering Deven , just hire her . She really is the best . She isn’t just “there”, she takes her fur babies seriously and understands how much they mean to us pet parents . I will absolutely hire her again .”

“Katie is amazing!!! We got our dachshund puppy, Opie, in February. Although he is as cute as can be and very friendly, he is a handful right now! And, in this small amount of time, we have not been able to get him as comfortable being alone or in his crate as much as we would like. He also was too young to be boarded with his brother (7 year old dachshund). We needed to go away for a few days for our wedding, and decided to try house sitting through rover for the first time. We found Katie, and I am so happy we did!! She was very patient and kind. She was at the house almost the entire time with Opie and made him feel so comfortable. She was flexible with letting Opie cuddle in the bed overnight, and made him feel safe when he was scared of a loud storm!! She was great at communicating and sharing pictures which we appreciated. Also, our home looked exactly as it did when we left. We could actually barely tell she was even there haha! I HIGHLY recommend her services!! She has the sweetest heart and we will definitely be reaching out again.”

Bilbo who is a small mix breed with extremally high energy levels that tends to pull on the lead and Chewy who is a small older mix breed who was rescued so he has a high fear level when it comes to new people. She was great with them!! and took the time to learn each of their needs. She was kind, commutative and flexible. I would recommend Giselle to anyone!”

“This was our first time using Rover and I'm so glad I found Sahara. She came by beforehand to meet our dog Vito and took good care of him (and the house!) during her stay. Our dog isn't great with strangers and we were nervous about the whole process, but it only took him a day to warm up and let her walk him which was the most we could have hoped for. I cannot recommend her enough! We already have another vacation booked with her.”

About: I've taken care of my family's dogs and cats since I was little. My entire life i've had 3-4 cats and atleast one dogs. For about 4yrs I was also a volunteer and the San Marcos Animal Shelter. I love helping out animals and I figured it'd be a fun little side job to work and get to spend more time with y'alls pets! I currently work from home so I'm pretty flexible on what I can accomplish. I don't have to worry about commuting to work and my job is very flexible giving me lots of time to care for your pet! I can easily take care of your pet in your own home on weekends or during the week as long as there is a stable internet connection. Unfortunately due to me having one of my own cat's at home (plus my roommates two cats) we aren't able to bring any other animals into the apartment unless they are cat friendly.

She sent multiple updates about how they were doing and informed us about anything going on at the house. She was very courteous when she left and took care of her bed sheets and trash. We will definitely be contacting Seleste to care for our dogs in the future.”
