“Mirella was wonderful! I needed a sitter last minute and she was so accommodating with all of my needs. I have a full house and my fur babes all need different things, and she made sure to fulfill them all! Highly recommend.”

“Alexas was great!! We had scheduled for drop in visits for our cat, and she was very communicative, and sent the best pictures! We ended up having to extend our trip by one day and Alexas was able to do visits for another day which we were super grateful for!”

“Had a family emergency and had make a quick trip and was so glad Taylor had the availability to come with a less than 24 hr notice. They did everything I asked for and more like water my plants and cleaned any messes Asher made.”

I loved getting the daily photos and check-ins. We came home to happy cats and a clean litter box. Would highly recommend!”

About: Hi! My name is Risa! I had a Labrador growing up, she was sweet and rambunctious. During Covid, I fostered a malnourished dog until he went to his forever home! Currently, I’m dog walking full time! I’ve fostered dogs before, but don’t have any pets currently. I’m available for pet sitting and dog walking every day! I love hiking and walking, so can happily take dogs for long walks. I want to have a great time hanging out with your furry friends
“Lindsey was amazing! She gave detailed notes about what she did with Ripley and how she was doing while I was at work. This helped a lot when so I knew she was taken care of. She had excellent communication and was very professional and organized.”

“Camille was wonderful! She was very reliable, communicated well, and went above and beyond for my animals. She always made sure to let me know my cat’s meds were given successfully and even cleaned up around the litter boxes. I will definitely be requesting her for future needs.”

“I completely feel at ease when I leave town because of this sitter! In addition to the normal care routine, she does a great job playing with my cat and giving her attention. I highly recommend her.”

About: I've cared for animals my entire life and have experience looking after a wide variety of pets. I regularly pet sit for my brother's cats and dogs throughout the year, and I've also cared for my aunt's animals, including her pony and tortoise. I love all animals! Currently school is my only priority! With only one year left my schedule is lighter and classes are more flexible. I have classes throughout the week and can adapt to a pet routine or schedule. I like to stay active, so dog walking is a great way to get my steps in! I have no pets currently! I live in an apartment with a great dog park (fenced in) and have many nature trails behind my apartment I often frequent!

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I was young, always having dogs in the home and then eventually getting to care for my own babies once I moved out when I started college. I graduated from Texas State with a degree in Wildlife Biology and I currently have an array of my own pets. From dogs and cats, to reptiles and spiders, I can care for them all! I’m currently the manager at a boarding facility, a horse riding instructor, and a full time dog groomer- so my animal care goes beyond just being a hobby, it’s my life. I have experience with most farm animals, common household pets, and exotics. All ages, sizes, and temperaments, I’d love the opportunity to meet and care for your pets! I’m currently a full time pet groomer and kennel manager at a boarding facility. On some evenings and weekends I help with horse riding lessons, but in my other free evenings, I’ve decided to take my animal care even further! I have experience with pets of all sizes and temperaments so I am able to quickly and reliably adjust to your pet’s specific needs. Whether that is quiet and gentle care for an anxious cat, or an exciting day out to help with a more excitable pup, I’m happy to provide selective and tailored care.
“My cats were healthy, happy and well taken care of by Blayne. Opal says “yes, bring her back! Warm lap and she knows right where to scratch my ears!” Azeriphale wants another round of chase the toy mouse!”
About: Other than growing up with my own dogs at home, I’ve volunteered and worked at animal shelters as a kennel technician- I have a lot of patience for dogs of all types and temperaments. My childhood dog was very timid, so I’m extra sympathetic to dogs who need a bit more personal space. I’m a college student doing a lot of online classes. The only times I’m needed on campus are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 am-12:30 pm, so my spare time can be happily dedicated to your dog. I will act in close accordance with any specific instructions given. If your dog is shy, I will respect their space- if they are high-energy, I am very capable of matching that too! I also have no qualms for cleaning up messes. Any concerns will be communicated asap.
“Katie took such wonderful care of my cat! She sent daily pictures and detailed updates, and went above and beyond by helping keep my apartment clean and being flexible when my trip was extended. I felt totally at ease knowing my kitty was in such great hands! Highly recommend!!”

“This is our first time trying Rover, after being very disappointed by multiple dog kennel services. My dog is not animal friendly, but otherwise very social with people and has anxiety when away from home for too long. The choice was very easy when Gabrielle came up on the search options. She is a fantastic caretaker, follows instructions to a T, and Cherry and her bonded quickly. We can’t wait to start traveling more now that we have a trusted guardian for Cherry.”

“Brandy was absolutely wonderful with Mia! She took such great care of her, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing Mia was in such loving and attentive hands. It’s clear Brandy truly cares about the pets she looks after, and that means everything to us. We’re so happy to have found such a reliable and caring sitter, and we will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Emeline was so great with my maple, she worked on getting her comfortable the first day and played with my cat until she got tried. She was very great at updating me on my cat and sent me many pictures of her :) I’m so glad my cat got along with her and will be using her services for future dates.”

Cydney did an excellent job watching my sweetheart. Since she’s an indoor/outdoor cat, I asked for her to keep various food & water bowls filled throughout the house & outdoors. Cydney fulfilled all of my requests and sent reassuring photos, which helped ease my mind that all was okay. Would definitely recommend booking her for your future pet needs.

Grace has been regularly sitting for my cat for over a year now. I cannot overstate how wonderful a pet sitter she is! Not only is she reliable and trustworthy, she genuinely cares about the comfort and safety of my pet, as well as my feelings and concerns as a pet guardian. I highly recommend her pet sitting services!

Lindsey has been fantastic with our moody anxiety ridden cat. I know he was well taken care of while we were away as Lindsey provided many photos and thorough descriptions of her time with him. We will definitely book Lindsey for future care services! Thank you so much Lindsey!

Megan is fantastic - she is our go to sitter! We’ve had to be out of town more often since moving away from family but we always feel at peace knowing Megan will take care of our pets like they’re her own! We fully trust and recommend her, and know our fur babies are in the best care! She is also very communicative and sends pics without us even asking. Thanks Megan!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
