About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’m passionate about providing dependable, loving care and treating every pet like the family member they are. From playful puppies and energetic adults to sweet seniors, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. While I’ve primarily owned larger breeds, I also have experience caring for small breeds. I have a 1 year old Great Pyrenees Poodle mix and a 14 year old Shepard mix. I also have a ball python and leopard gecko as a part of our family pack! Pet care fits naturally into my routine as a stay-at-home mom. I’m available weekdays from 8:30 AM–2:30 PM, giving me plenty of time to provide attentive, reliable care, walks, playtime, and companionship. I do have some evening availability with advance notice. About: I am a professional house/pet sitter, which has given me a ton of experience with a wide variety of pets around the country. I have taken care of multiple cats and dogs, and also solo animals in 9 different states. I am no stranger to following a pet owners routine, and ensuring 100% that your animal is comfortable. Senior pups are very dear to my heart, as I had a 15 year old rescue that took medicine throughout the day for CHF. I work remotely and travel full time around the country to pet/house sit (sometimes out of country). With that being said, my schedule is completely open to stop-in’s or walks throughout the day. I am open to over-night sits with enough notice in advance. I will follow the pets routine exactly how the owner would like. Walks, stop-ins, and any regular scheduled activities would be entirely in compliance with the owners needs. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live on 10 acres in Wimberley. My property is fenced, but because some dogs won’t obey commands from those other than their family and might behave differently in a foreign environment I do not let them off leash. My home and porch are spacious so there is a lot of room to play. (I do have plans to securely fence in a dog area on the ranch, and will be sure to mention it when I do). If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home (which is fine since I work from home much of the time), so your dogs will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. I also have a variety of toys for dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls. I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request.
