About: Austin Pets Alive! volunteer and foster since 2017. I have a masters in behavior analysis that I have used to help with potty training, crate training, leash training, and basic commands. I also have experience with puppy care, specialized diets, and working with high energy dogs I'm currently working part-time; M,T,&Th from 12-6, and Wednesday from 3-6. During the week I can do morning and evening walks or drop ins, and my weekends are completely open. I live in an apartment but ensure pets are taken for leashed potty breaks as needed (0-2 hours), walks are taken in the morning and late afternoon in different settings (neighborhood, parks, and trails), and activities are sprinkled throughout the day. Activities include puzzles, lick mats, snuffle mats, training, and even crafts!

When I returned home, my dog was absolutely delighted, which spoke volumes about the experience she had with Chris. She was calm, content, and clearly had a wonderful time with him. The house was in great shape, and I was able to relax on my vacation, knowing that everything was taken care of. What really sets Chris apart, though, is his attention to detail and communication. He made me feel comfortable the entire time by checking in with me often, answering any questions, and addressing any concerns. It was as if I had a personal dog care concierge, which is exactly what every pet owner wants when leaving their fur baby in someone else's care. I cannot recommend Chris enough! He’s reliable, trustworthy, kind, and truly a dog lover. I will absolutely be booking him again for future trips. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, Chris is the one.
