About: I have owned and taken care of cats and dogs my whole life so I am very comfortable meeting different animals’ complex needs. I am also a teacher on summer break, so my current schedule is incredibly open and flexible. My weekly availability is Monday-Sunday whenever I am needed! I have my own pets at home so aside from taking care of their needs, my schedule is very open! I have done a great amount of house sitting along with watching pets so I am happy to meet any requirements for taking care of your space when I am occupying it!
“Rebecca has been a lifesaver! She had taken such great care of our Bernadoodle showing up several times a day. She is organized as well as loving. She follows instructions and I’m thankful to have her sitting for our boy! A true gem of a siitter.”

About: Hi there! I've been a dog person my whole life — I grew up with dogs and have raised five of my own as an adult. In 2025, I started volunteering at a local animal shelter, where I help with events and foster dogs in need. That experience deepened my love for animals and inspired me to offer extra support to pet owners when they're away. I'd love to meet your pets and help make your time apart as easy as possible! I work remotely and can do early morning and mid-day walks - in addition to evening walks. My weekends are open and can be available for multiple walks or overnight support. I treat every pet in my care like they're part of the family — because to me, they are. My approach centers on routine and reassurance: I stick closely to each pet's normal schedule (feeding times, walks, playtime) so they feel secure even when their owner isn't around. Responsibility is huge for me — I'm attentive to any specific care instructions, medications, or quirks each pet has, and I always keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can relax knowing their pet is happy and safe. In my own home, pets have a comfortable, secure space with constant supervision, and in a client's home, I respect their space while keeping the same consistent, loving care I'd give my foster dogs. At the end of the day, I want every pet to feel loved, comfortable, and excited to see me — and I want every owner to feel completely at ease while they're away.
“Carrie was great! She was flexible with our schedule when we had to make some late minutes changes and was patient with our puppy and a senior dog who get super excited when they meet guests. I would definitely book Carrie again!”

“Megan is very conscientious and Jethro was very appreciative of her care. She checks in, sends photos and stays in touch about important issued with our pets. We are very grateful for her skills and professionalism.”

“Willow was fantastic! Both of my kitties immediately liked her and felt comfortable with her! That’s really all I can ask for but she also followed my feeding instructions to a T, and was very respectful of my space- even cleaned their food bowls for me before she left on her last visit! I will definitely be a repeat client 😄”

“Lilyanna did a great job of taking care of our pups. We have a 4 month old lab and she was amazing at keeping his schedule and ensuring he maintained his normal routine while we were gone. She was also very communicative and took some super cute photos of the pups. Both dogs seemed happy and stress free when we returned to them. Thank you for making our lives easier and ensuring our dogs are safe and happy!”

About: I’ve always taken care of neighbors and friends dogs growing up and I take my own dogs on long walks at the park and make sure to feed them the best food we can. I love giving them baths and training them! I’m currently working a weekday job from 12 to 4 so early mornings, evenings and weekends I’m completely available to watch your creatures or/critters I have two dogs who enjoy just under an acre of fenced in yard, my husky loves to hunt lizards but my Aussie always scares them off!
“Emily was a delight! She made sure she was clear on what our needs and expectations were, and sent us lots of great updates with pictures. I could tell our two dogs and one cat were well cared for and gots lots of love because they were so relaxed when we got home. Thank you, Emily!”

About: Pets have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs and I quickly became the go to pet sitter for neighbors, friends, and family! Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, going for long walks on the trail, playing at the dog park, or making sure they get the care they need while their owners are away, I truly love spending time with animals. I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet and it’s my promise to treat yours like they’re my own. I am currently working part time with a very flexible schedule on the weekends to save for my graduate studies so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I prioritize their comfort and routine. I provide fresh food and water, daily walks, playtime and PLENTY of scratches, cuddles, and attention! I would follow any special instructions, including giving medication if needed. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, reinforcing training, or giving belly rubs, I make sure each pet feels safe and loved while their owner is away. My goal is to keep pets happy and stress free in their familiar environment.

“Jenny is absolutely amazing! I hired her to take care of my cats and she did the best job, sending pics of them and their clean litter boxes and food and water bowls. We also have a dog that a neighbor boy was caring for but Jenny let him out into the yard while she tended to the cats and gave him some love before she left. I’m super happy with the care she provided!”

“Kristin is fantastic! She's very reliable and very communicative. My dog is big and is a serious handful, but she does such a fantastic job with him. I wish I had her skills with dogs!!”
About: I've taken care of pets since I was very young. I would house sit for my neighbors until I was old enough to volunteer. I volunteered at an animal shelter where I would bathe, train, and walk dogs. As well as play with the cats as well! I have a dog who I take on two walks a day and play with other pups when we can! I live in an apartment, but I can house a crate as well or block them off if needed. I also have a crate for my dog as well. As of now I am a chiropractor with flexible work hours. I have a dog myself and I always make sure to take him on long walks and get him out and about! I can easily crate your dog as needed! I do not have a yard but I do constantly take them out on leash! I also have a turf area in my apartment and a dog park near by!

Kimberlee did an excellent job. We have used her before when we went out of town and did not hesitate to rebook. This time I wasn’t able to log in to check on the pets as I normally would due to traveling out of the country. However, I knew I didn’t have to worry about the pets because they were in good hands.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Exceptional Care Olivia took care of our Siamese, Bailey, for five days over the Christmas holiday, and we couldn’t be more impressed. From the very beginning, she made sure Bailey had every creature comfort and treated her with so much patience and respect. She sent plenty of photos for our peace of mind, and she took the time to truly understand Bailey’s personality and routines—which made us feel completely confident in her care. She also went above and beyond—thoroughly cleaning Bailey’s litter box and keeping everything spotless. It was a blessing to find someone this attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in our pet’s well‑being. We will absolutely be rebooking Olivia any time we need a Rover. She is truly outstanding.

Brian was an excellent sitter. He was very attentive to the needs of our kitties. He gave detailed summaries after each visit and sent great pictures. Scout, Rover and Abigail were well cared for and happy when we returned. I would highly recommend Brian’s services and plan to use him again when for our next trip!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
