About: I’ve always taken care of neighbors and friends dogs growing up and I take my own dogs on long walks at the park and make sure to feed them the best food we can. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years, including my own pets as well as dogs belonging to friends and family. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, basic routines, and giving dogs plenty of attention and companionship. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule throughout the week and on weekends. Since I can take my computer with me and also work from my phone, I’m able to accommodate daytime visits and spend quality time with your pets in their own home. This gives me plenty of flexibility for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship while you’re away. I care for pets in their own home where they feel safest and most comfortable. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications if needed, and any household rules. I’m respectful of both your pet and your home, and I always make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other areas are secure. About: I've always loved dogs so much and would greatly enjoy walking my neighbors dogs when I was growing up as well as taking care of their dogs when they were out of town or needed someone to feed, walk, or take care of them. I am currently doing school online, so I am available most of the time almost every single day of the week and am very flexible. About: I grew up surrounded by animals. I've taken care of dogs, cats, goats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more. I have a particular soft spot for rats because I kept them as pets for over a decade. I also rehabilitated a couple of red-eared sliders growing up, have had some experience caring for bearded dragons, and had a pet tarantula many years ago. As of recently, I've started volunteering with a Texas wildlife rescue and rehabilitation facility in Kendalia, Texas. Suffice to say, my love of animals runs deep. My experience is relatively varied, and whether you want me to farm-sit or dog-sit, I am both excited and prepared to do either. I volunteer weekly for Kendalia Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, where I am surrounded by many different kinds of animals, and I am constantly learning new things about their care needs. Over the summer, when I return to my family, I resume my usual responsibilities and mix pig feed, feed out hay to our goats, put up the chickens, clean as and where it's needed, and make sure that everybody's water is always clean and topped off. The routines surrounding these animals are second-nature to me, and I'm very comfortable around them, and find time spent looking out for them to be very fulfilling. I think it's very important to engage with the animals under my care, and I understand that that can look a bit different for each animal. If I'm going to be caring for cats, then I'll be sure to take the time to wiggle a cat wand or wave a laser pointer around. They will also absolutely get an occasional Churu as long as that's an acceptable treat. For dogs, I'm going to make sure I take ample time to play fetch with them, and that they get a nice long walk each day at least once.

About: I’ve never not had pets and I’ve taken care of other people’s dogs and cats since I was 10. I will walk, feed, cuddle, bathe, and play with your pets as I would my own. Each of the individuals in my photos are beloved pets that I have taken care of over the past several years. About: Ive had both dogs and cats my whole life big and small. Currently dog mom to a weiner pit mix and a girl mom to a 4 yr old! About: I have rescue for 40 years and really connect with animals. Sad to say, my daughter said sometimes better than people. They are people to me! Trust is always the most important for me with the animals I care for. I fit into their schedule mostly. So they can return home with out to much adjustment if at all. The dogs and cats I have been watching tend to like the fact that I can meet their needs as they should. I am semi retired and work at home so I like to keep there routines as much as I can. So that the owners do not have to go through all the transitions. I very active as well. I like to create a trust/bond so the owners that I have been helping to date tend to like that I am ready available because like consistency for they animal, they do not like to switch sitters. That I would prefer and so do most of my clients. They need to feel at home. Also would prefer to have knowledge of pets doctor. Never have needed. Also any personally traits on need to know basis. Every Pet in different. I have not had many bookings on the rover site to date, but always been 100%.
