About: Hi there! I've been a dog person my whole life — I grew up with dogs and have raised five of my own as an adult. In 2025, I started volunteering at a local animal shelter, where I help with events and foster dogs in need. That experience deepened my love for animals and inspired me to offer extra support to pet owners when they're away. I'd love to meet your pets and help make your time apart as easy as possible! I work remotely and can do early morning and mid-day walks - in addition to evening walks. My weekends are open and can be available for multiple walks or overnight support. I treat every pet in my care like they're part of the family — because to me, they are. My approach centers on routine and reassurance: I stick closely to each pet's normal schedule (feeding times, walks, playtime) so they feel secure even when their owner isn't around. Responsibility is huge for me — I'm attentive to any specific care instructions, medications, or quirks each pet has, and I always keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can relax knowing their pet is happy and safe. In my own home, pets have a comfortable, secure space with constant supervision, and in a client's home, I respect their space while keeping the same consistent, loving care I'd give my foster dogs. At the end of the day, I want every pet to feel loved, comfortable, and excited to see me — and I want every owner to feel completely at ease while they're away.

“Carrie was so communicative and caring. We left her a cat who has been going through some health issues, and she kept us well informed with daily reports and pictures. Thanks so much for your help!”

“Willow was fantastic! Both of my kitties immediately liked her and felt comfortable with her! That’s really all I can ask for but she also followed my feeding instructions to a T, and was very respectful of my space- even cleaned their food bowls for me before she left on her last visit! I will definitely be a repeat client 😄”

“Rebecca took amazing care of our two cats while we were away for 10 days. I was a little nervous leaving them for the first time, but I was thrilled with the care Rebecca gave to our cats. She provided daily updates, photos, and played with them. She went above and beyond by staying longer, giving them new toys and making them feel like they were on their own kitty vacation.”

About: Experienced and loving pet caregiver with a passion for making animals feel safe, happy, and at home. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every pet like family. I am currently in grad school and would love to spend time with your pets on my study breaks! I enjoy walks and spending time outside so having a furry friend would be the best! I provide attentive, personalized care by following each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs. Whether in my home or a client’s, I create a safe, comfortable environment where pets feel loved and at ease.
“Emily was great! Very good with communication before and during her time with my cat. She sent lots of pictures and my cat was well taken care of while we were gone. I would definitely use Emily again!”

“Lilyanna was amazing! Even though both of us had hectic weeks going into my time away from home she was communicative and she sent so many pictures of my girls. When I got home they were happy and relaxed and I could tell they had been well cared for. Thanks Lilyanna!”

About: I got two lovely little kittens when I was just 8 years old and gained full responsibility of one of them at 10. This included cleaning her litter box regularly, feeding and watering her, and making sure she got lots of love! The picture shown is with my current baby Chief who I adore (so much that I included him in my senior photos!), I love teaching him tricks and taking so many pictures of him he's the cutest! My baby has had tummy issues in the past which I pushed to get him to the vet, my little skinny baby was eating everything in his sight then throwing it up! I was determined to get him healthy and so I did just that. I will let you know if I find anything appearing wrong with your cat when I take care of them! It is my duty to keep all the babies of the world happy and healthy 🥰
About: Pets have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs and I quickly became the go to pet sitter for neighbors, friends, and family! Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, going for long walks on the trail, playing at the dog park, or making sure they get the care they need while their owners are away, I truly love spending time with animals. I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet and it’s my promise to treat yours like they’re my own. I am currently working part time with a very flexible schedule on the weekends to save for my graduate studies so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I prioritize their comfort and routine. I provide fresh food and water, daily walks, playtime and PLENTY of scratches, cuddles, and attention! I would follow any special instructions, including giving medication if needed. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, reinforcing training, or giving belly rubs, I make sure each pet feels safe and loved while their owner is away. My goal is to keep pets happy and stress free in their familiar environment.
About: I’ve had pets since I was a little girl and have passed the love I have for them down to my dog loving kiddos too! I currently don’t have any pets, so my time at home with my daughter is pretty free. We volunteer at APA, but would love a dog at home too! We make sure to have fun with them and give them lots of love. We also always make sure that they are on the best behavior and don’t miss out on being polite around furniture and such. Movement is a big factor that we love to encourage dogs to do even if it is a little walk!
“Jenny did an excellent job taking care of my cat! I really appreciated all the pictures she took and the descriptive notes she left after each visit. I felt completely at ease while I was out of town knowing she was in good hands! :)”

About: I have been pet sitting since age 12. I have experience with farm animals, fish, gerbils, reptiles, cats, and dogs. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I have taken care of senior dogs that need certain medications as well. I would love to help with any pet needs. I am focusing on online school, so I’m home most of the time. “I am 100% sure that there is not a better place for Maggie to be than with Claire. Maggie was waiting for me in the mornings to be ready to leave the house and go to day care with Claire and her dogs. Claire sent me pictures and video showing me what a good time Maggie was having. She even took Maggie for long walks. Claire has a very nice property that is perfect for dogs. I can't be happier that Claire can take care of Maggie.”

“This was my first experience with Rover and Pepper's first experience at a Doggy Day Care. I was a bit concerned about how Pepper would act as it was her first time away from me. However, Christopher's confidence and plan for Pepper quickly put me at ease. Pepper adapted to the environment fairly quick and loved playing with the other dogs. Christopher's professionalism and care were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend using Christopher.”

About: Hi! I’m Jamie, nice to e-meet you!! I'm new to this site and am hoping to make some new furry friends! I’ve completed the Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid online course. I grew up with all sorts of pets and love all animals. Even spiders, unless they touch me. 😂 My claim to cat fame is that I taught my cat to use the toilet! Best thing I ever did! I think the reason animals are so comfortable with me is because I speak to them in this funny, high voice and it’s both intriguing and soothing to them. It started as something funny I just did and now I can’t even remember what I sounded like before. Fun fact, you will never, ever, ever hear me sing, unless it’s to an animal. For some reason I can come up with a new song for every animal or situation and I can turn every existing song into a song about an animal. Animals are the best. I work from home and need frequent breaks. I love nature and animals, so this app seems like a wonderful way to make new furry or non-furry friends. 🥰 I have a ton of experience getting to know animals to make new friends, soothing them by singing to them and speaking to them in a high, funny voice. My three year old tabby cat is great at getting even the grumpiest animals to fall in love with her. 🐾
“Mercedes and her daughter were very welcoming and friendly with Tinker. We had quite a hassle free experience in communicating with them during drop off and pick up. We are definitely looking forward to drop Tinker with them again in future.”

About: I currently work professionally as a receptionist and lead kennel technician at a busy boarding and grooming facility. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, temperaments, and individual needs. My daily work includes feeding, walking, safely handling dogs, cleaning and sanitizing kennels, monitoring behavior and overall well-being, and communicating with pet parents. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets, anxious or shy dogs, high-energy dogs, and pets who need a little extra patience. I also have experience administering oral and topical medications, as well as certain owner-provided injections when clear written instructions are provided. I understand how important accuracy and consistency are when caring for pets with medication schedules or special routines. I treat every pet as an individual and take the time to learn what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I’m attentive, dependable, and happy to provide detailed updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is being well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is already a major part of my everyday life through my professional work in a kennel environment. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care around my regular work schedule, and I keep my Rover calendar updated so clients can see my current availability. When I accept a booking, I make sure I have enough time to follow the pet’s normal routine without rushing. I’m happy to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication times, and any comfort routines your pet is accustomed to. I follow each owner’s instructions closely and do my best to maintain the pet’s normal schedule and environment. During visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication administration, basic cleanup, and plenty of attention. I monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, mobility, or general comfort and will communicate promptly if I notice anything concerning. I also provide photo updates and a clear summary of each visit.
About: Hi there! I love all types of animals, big and small, which is why I love to do this for work. I have experience in administering shots and pills to stubborn babies, such as my elderly soul dog who was diabetic. I have trained 2 german shepard since they were puppies, so trust that I can handle a high energy, snappy puppy. I have experience with caring for disabled dogs and am willing to put in whatever work I need to do to make them feel that they can still have just as much fun! I would love the opportunity to care for your dogs! I’m currently working part-time and I am in college. I have time to care for animals in the afternoon most days and early in the morning. On the weekends I have much more time to take care of your little ones! I think that the key to keeping any animal safe is being able to read their body language. This is something that I pay attention to and notice the smallest hint of stress. Doing this enables me to communicate with animals because they are always trying to tell you something. I try to only walk animals when the concrete is cool enough for their little paws. I have had to break up many a dog fight and the best way that I have found so far is to clap to distract them then separate as soon as possible. I keep charcoal on me just in case any animal eats something that they are not allowed to because this does happen more often when their parents are away. I am always keeping animals safety in mind when I am caring for them and treat them like my own little babies.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. I currently have two dogs of my own, and they’ve taught me so much about patience, responsibility, and the different personalities pets can have. What sets me apart is the level of attention and love I give—I truly treat every pet like my own. I’m known for being reliable, caring, and flexible, and many neighbors and friends trust me with their pets because they know I go above and beyond. Whether it’s following a detailed routine, giving extra cuddles, or helping pets feel comfortable in a new environment, I always make sure they feel safe and happy. I am a college student at Arizona State University and I am home for a few weeks. I don’t currently have a job, so I am very flexible and willing to help out wherever is needed. I treat every pet like part of my family! In my home or yours, I keep their routine the same—meals, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and snuggles. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved, and I’m always happy to send lots of updates and photos so you know they’re doing great.
About: New to Rover but caring for pets and homes locally as if they were my own has been part of my life for years. I know how important it is to trust the person you’re leaving your pets with and I take that to heart. I’m patient, reliable, and pay close attention to the little things that keep pets happy and homes feeling cared for. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including playful puppies and gentle senior pets who may need extra time, medications, or a softer touch. I’m comfortable handling different routines, personalities, and special needs. Beyond pet care, I’m respectful of your home and keep everything tidy so you return to a space that feels just the way you left it—or a little better! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily life because I work remotely from home. That means I’m around throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, and plenty of companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to stick closely to each pet’s normal routine, whether they need extra attention, medication, or just a reassuring presence. Having animals around just makes my days better, so it never feels like a job to me. When I’m staying in a client’s home, I keep pets on their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. That means regular meals, walks, playtime, and as many snuggles as they can stand:)

“Desmond and Robyn were great with our Luna! They sent pics/videos daily. This was our first time using the Rover app. We were pleased with the service we received. We will definitely schedule with Desmond and Robyn again if we need to.”

“I appreciated Lilyanna’s attention to detail and her near-daily text updates of my dog Bella when I left her to her care for 5 days. Lilyanna has a fondness for animals in general and my Bella was well-taken care of. I will definitely use her services again!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Erica took such thoughtful, attentive care of my two senior dogs, both of whom need daily medication and a little extra TLC. She was incredibly patient and gentle, making sure they got their meds on time and giving them all the cuddles they needed to feel at home. Her updates and photos gave me total peace of mind, and it was clear they were comfortable, relaxed, and well loved in her care. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can fully trust, especially for my older pups. Highly recommend and will definitely book with her again!”

“Lacey is the absolute best. She took care of my pups for 5 days. She sent me photos everyday, took them on walks and her dogs are so playful and sweet. I wish I could give more stars than 5.”

“My puppy Stella had a great time with Stephanie and her dogs. Stephanie sent tons of pictures and videos of Stella playing at her amazing house! She has a pool which is perfect on hot days, Stella sure enjoyed it. I would definitely rebook and refer everyone to this sitter!”

“Morgan was amazing with our sweet dog Harley. Harley is typically anxious and timid with new friends, but Morgan made her feel right at home and she was her happy, goofy and playful self immediately. It made our travels so much easier knowing that she was comfortable and enjoying herself while we were away. Morgan was great about sending lots of photos and updates throughout our trip so our family could see the puppy adventures she was getting into herself. Will absolutely book with Morgan over and over again. Thank you, Morgan!”

“Our corgi hates to be away from home but she had a super time with Emma & family! It’s so nice to be able to travel without worry, and when travel delays hit as they do these days, Emma was so accommodating. Highly recommend!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! They truly went the extra mile in every aspect of our dog's stay. From the moment we dropped our dog off, they made both us and our dog feel like family. Communication was outstanding, and we received so many adorable photos and updates throughout the stay, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious our dog was loved, well cared for, and having the best time. We are so grateful and will absolutely be booking with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Summer has been one of my best sitters on Rover! I immediately felt comfortable leaving my dog in her capable hands and she was so nice and friendly. She asked if my dog had any other needs and she went over all the care that she would be providing for Ollie. She sent the cutest pictures and some really funny videos of my doggo while I was away and made me feel extra good about her care. Would highly recommend Summer and I definitely will be using her again in the future!!”

“Chris did a phenomenal job watching my boy Brego for the weekend. Highly communicative and a good set of friendly dogs they all played very well and looked like they had such a good time. He regularly sent photo dumps throughout the days so we could see how they were all having a nice time together. Would highly recommend Chris and will use him again in the future. Thank you again chris!”

“Lexi really enjoyed being there and I have nothing but good things to say about these two. I appreciate them coming through for me and keeping lexi happy in my absence!”

“My pup was in good hands with Linda! She is kind and welcoming and seemed to really enjoy my pup’s company. She took her on long walks on the trail which I know my pup loved. I would’ve liked more pics and updates (but that’s just me) but I’m looking forward to having my pup stay with Linda again!”

“Rich was flexible when my plans needed an extension and has a beautiful, country home Bella seemed to really enjoy. She was definitely comfortable with Rich. Recommend highly.”
