“Lexi really enjoyed being there and I have nothing but good things to say about these two. I appreciate them coming through for me and keeping lexi happy in my absence!”

“Molly loves her time with Denise. I felt nervous about dropping her off the first time but she became fast friends with Denise and her family. Denise kept me posted on a daily basis and put my mind at ease.”

“Allison and her family does a fantastic job ensuring your fur baby has a home away from home. She was very communicative and accommodating with her schedule for pick-up and drop-off. She provided plenty of updates and our boy looked forward to returning. Would highly recommend!!”

“Malu and family are excellent caretakers. They made sure Odis was happy and active during his stay with walks and even a run! The house, yard and neighborhood set up are a dog’s (and dog owner’s) dream. Their dog Shadow makes for a great companion and Malu’s communication is spot on. You will not regret hiring Malu to care for your pet.”
“Denise was a communicative and thoughtful host to my 9 year old Corgi, Gus. She watched him over July 4th weekend and administered meds/ cared for my nervous pup as if he was her own! Denise gave great updates and was flexible with drop off and pick up. Will definitely reach out the next time we need a dog-sitter. Thanks Denise!!”

“This was my first time being away from my pup for any length of time. I felt super comfortable leaving him here and got lots of updates and he seemed to have a great time. Overall great experience.”

“Michelle was so great with Bailey! Bailey is 14 years old and Michelle took great care of her while we were away which gave us peace to enjoy our trip. Michelle was quick to respond, which is great because when you’re away from your older dog. (Those with older dogs, you know.) When I picked up Bailey, Michelle already knew Bailey’s personality just from a few days, which was awesome, which made Bailey more comfortable while we were away. If you have an older dog, Michelle is a great choice and will be with your dog all the time. Her dog was great with Bailey too. No issues when meeting and shared space with each other well. Thanks again Michelle!”

“Alyssa was amazing taking care of my dog. she showered her cleaned her bowls and updated me every chance she got. 100% recommend! she was very understanding when i picked up my dog a little late”

“Kati and Brian and their son Logan and pup Louie are the perfect choice for us and our girl Brandi! She loves her new friends and our weeklong stay went perfectly! They are now our number one go to choice for care for our pup! Brandi is excited and wags her tail everytime we go to their home and we know she’s in great hands!”

About: I have been a dog foster for eight years in the Dallas area with Take Me Home Pet Rescue. I fostered at least a dozen dogs, but seven in particular needed special attention to make them ready to be great pets. I spent time on socialization, behavior, obedience and at least four of them got their basic Canine Good Citizen certification. Fostering gave me the opportunity to learn about various breeds, behaviors and work with dog behaviorists, dog day cares and behavior vets. I have owned four rescue dogs and taken them through the Canine Good Citizen program.:two of them through the third level. My tripawd dog, Rango, has done Rally at the novice level. And Lumi, my most recent rescue from PAWS, is also CGC Certified and ready to do some therapy work once she gets over her car-sickness. I have learned so much from my fostering experiences and working with various dogs. All the training is very positive and relationship-based. I am not trainer, but happy to work with your trainer. After moving to Dripping Springs, I have kept some friends and neighbors dogs and now adding some dog sitting into my substitute teaching schedule. Your dog will stay with Lumi (three year old Lab mix) and Rango (an eleven year old border collie and Aussie mix). We have a nice fenced, shaded and good sized back yard with birds and squirrels. We walk in our park and native woods behind our house almost every morning after breakfast. Our one-story home has mostly all linoleum plank vinyl flooring. I feed the dogs apart twice a day and there is no food aggression. They take treats together and they have become bonded. Our neighborhood is quiet and a nice mix of all ages with homes and quarter acre yards. I am an artist who works from home and I substitute teach art and early elementary at our ISD. My schedule will show booked substituting and dog sitting. I will stay home on days I know I'm keeping your dog. Your dog will get a walk, play with my pups and get some TLC. Because I teach, I also have security and background clearance with the school district. Your dog should be good with other dogs, house trained, spayed/neutered and a natural initial level of separation anxiety that will wane. Because of my fostering experience with dog transitions, I ask first-time pups and parents to come see us, our house and yard to make sure it's a good match for everyone. When a dog comes and goes with their owners, they are far more secure coming a second time and being left. I want a successful visit for everyone and look forward to repeat visits. I will treat your dog with care, love and safety. I look forward to meeting you and your pup. I substitute teach and on days I'm not teaching or know I'm boarding, I'll stay home. I may run a quick errand, especially if you have a multi-day stay, but I will be home maybe doing my art, maybe working in the back yard with the dogs in the back roaming around while I work. I have a fenced back yard that is shady and secure. I can crate your dog as needed. I have two dogs who are friendly and playful, but submissive and give their guests space. I will feed all dogs in separate areas. If I go run a quick errand, I will make sure the dogs go outside and I'll check in with you beforehand about crating or separating. I will walk each dog separately once during the day, usually in the morning. If your dog has a bed, feel free to bring it and if well potty trained, it can bunk in the bedroom with us so it is part of the pack. Some dogs want to sleep in the bed and really depends on how the dogs get along, especially the first night or two as it does take natural adjustment time.
“Marissa was a wonderful sitter for Goose! She gave daily updates and pics, and seemed to be super comforting and considerate of him during this weeklong, rainy stay.”

“Lacey is the absolute best. She took care of my pups for 5 days. She sent me photos everyday, took them on walks and her dogs are so playful and sweet. I wish I could give more stars than 5.”

“Morgan and her family were great with our pups! We were worried as a previous dog sitter canceled swim last minute due to a family emergency and we were going out of the country. I’m glad we found Morgan. She was very great at communicating daily updates and went above and beyond. Our dogs also got along with hers and made for great playtime. I highly recommend Morgan for caring for your dog!”

“Ohsam had the happiest time with her during our vacation. I could totally tell. Do not worry a single bit booking any dog sitting service with her. Also Lucas, her dog is very gentle and extremely adorable.”

“Julie and Michael were able to help us out on just a few hours notice and took excellent care of our dog. They sent updates and pictures everyday, and Nieve seemed like she really enjoyed her time there. We’ll definitely be rebooking soon!”

“From start to finish, Layla and Lily were in great hands!!! They sent us updates along the way! They will definitely be our first choice anytime they are needing sitting!”

“Danielle was great with our 9 month old lab puppy! She made me feel completely comfortable leaving him with her! He had so much fun playing with her other dog and going on walks with her!”

“Lucy came home happy, clean and healthy. Really appreciated almost daily pictures of her playing with new friends in their great open backyard. Also really appreciated the teens in the house welcoming her as we drove up and being with her and giving us an update when we picked her up.”

“Regina and her family are lovely people who were great sitters for quimby. He was well cared for during the stay. Regina was meticulous, prompt and always communicated with us during the stay, even when we forgot to respond at times. We can tell quimby enjoyed his stay because he was calm throughout the journey back home. To summarize, we highly recommend regina and her family for any petcare needs and we would love to send quimby to them again. Thank you so much!”

“We couldn’t have been happier with Stephanie and her family. We got photos every day of Pippa playing with Stephanie’s sweet dogs and enjoying lots of love and attention. It seemed like Pippa was another member of Stephanie’s family! Five-star accommodations for sure!”

Driftwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Olga was absolutely wonderful! She provided daily updates and photos while caring for my cat, June, and it was clear that June had a great experience. Olga and her husband made her feel right at home, giving her her own room and plenty of spaces to play and lounge. I’ve already planned to book Olga again for my work trip in a few months. She completely relieved the stress I usually feel before dropping June off and made the entire transition seamless
