About: I've personally had several dogs as a teenager and as an adult. Friends asked me to sit their dogs because of my natural rapport skills. I'm retired and mostly at home. This gives me time to spend and care for my furry friends, including frequent potty breaks and daily walks. I have a newly fenced yard and a single story home. My neighborhood has lots of sidewalks and a nearby park. I greet dogs with love.

He's now 8 years old, so I've experienced every stage of a dog's life from energetic puppy days to establishing routines and adapting to changing needs as they get older. I currently have a flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship. Whether your dog enjoys playing, exploring on walks, or simply relaxing, I'm happy to tailor their care to what makes them happiest. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure, shaded fenced dog park at my apartment for safe outdoor time, and during the Texas summer I plan activities around the heat with shorter walks, shade, water breaks, and indoor play when needed. I know how much our pets mean to us because I feel the same way about Bug. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in caring, dependable hands. I currently have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home, so I have plenty of time to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, and potty breaks. My own dog, Bug, keeps me on a consistent routine, and I enjoy getting outside for walks and making sure dogs get the attention and exercise they need. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Sundance! Wendy watched our puppy for four nights while we were on vacation, and from the very beginning we felt completely at ease knowing she was in such great hands. Being able to actually relax and enjoy our trip without worrying about our puppy was priceless. Wendy was wonderful with Sundance, and it was clear she was being well cared for, loved on, and treated like one of her own. She even sent daily check ins with photos. Leaving a puppy for several days can be nerve racking, but Wendy made the entire experience so easy and reassuring. JR is an absolutely fantastic dog sitter! Right before her stay, our sweet Willow developed a skin rash and needed medication. JR went above and beyond to make sure Willow got all the care she needed, paying close attention to every detail. Whenever Willow comes home, she’s so happy and totally exhausted from all the fun and play. I would recommend JR to anyone without hesitation!
Isabelle stepped in last minute to help us after our original rover had a family emergency in the middle of the stay. She was prompt in responding and willing to go out of her way to pick up my dog.
