🚨Dog Dad & His Doghter Duo!🚨😎🙃

While I may not be a professional dog trainer, I’ve had the joy of teaching my own dog, Zahlee, some pretty entertaining tricks that never fail to bring smiles. For the past 6-7 years, I’ve cared for dogs—and the occasional cat—belonging to neighbors, friends, and even past Rover clients. I love Zahlee more than most people I know, so I completely understand how important your furry family members are to you. That’s why I’m committed to giving them all the love and attention they deserve. With me, your pets will enjoy full bowls of water, plenty of treats, and endless pets, snuggles, and care. I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own—with lots of love and attention, because that’s what they deserve!

JR is an absolutely fantastic dog sitter! Right before her stay, our sweet Willow developed a skin rash and needed medication. JR went above and beyond to make sure Willow got all the care she needed, paying close attention to every detail. Whenever Willow comes home, she’s so happy and totally exhausted from all the fun and play. I would recommend JR to anyone without hesitation!

JR was fantastic with Honey! He was very caring, attentive, and clearly treated her like his own. He sent plenty of photos and updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated how reliable and communicative he was throughout the visit. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciated his help, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again. Highly recommend! 🐾😊

Schedule

I currently work from home on Mon, Wed & Fri. I take my dog out for potty breaks during lunch time and take a few breaks to give her love, cuddles and play time throughout the work day. Around 6 pm I log off and take Zahlee out on a walk or to the neighborhood dog park where all the dogs are friendly and enjoy social interaction. She gets a great dose of social play time for about an hour or so.

Safety, trust & environment

Zahlee is very loving and sweet to other pets once the initial meet and greet is over. She can be a little jealous at first but quickly gets over it and will eventually cuddle with your dog. Water bowls are never left near empty. Treats are a part of the daily routine, outdoor fencing is secure, I spray my own yard for pest control (includes fleas/ticks), I have a couple crates where either my own pup or others’ can comfortably relax in the event of foul play (it CAN happen). Foods/objects that may be toxic/harmful to dogs are not present in the open and would NOT be left within reach. I love my dog like she’s family (maybe a little too much) and would hate for anything to happen to her. Therefore, understand how much our pets (family members) mean to us, and I reciprocate that in the way I care for them.

Pets

A typical day

Typical weekday consists of me waking up and preparing for the day. Part of that includes making sure my dog has adequate time outside for an early potty time. Food is served and water is rotated for fresh(er) water. If I go into the office (Tuesday/Thursday) I’ll make sure she gets a second potty break right before leaving. I tend to leave the office around 3 or 4. Upon arriving…potty time! If I hadn’t exercised in the morning, then I’ll train in the garage while the sun is up and blasting. By the time it’s fresh, Zahlee goes out for a 15-30 min walk/jog. Time for relaxation, more playtime in the backyard! Sleep…repeat ?

Please inform me of any special routines, foods and/or medicines that your furbaby may require so I can best judge my own ability in providing care so everything goes smoothly all around. I understand some clients might enjoy a completely “out of sight, out of mind” get away. If this is the case, there is no judgement here just let me know so I may keep it lowkey on your pet’s status (or emergencies only) updates ☺️
