About: I grew up with at least two dogs in my home at all times, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for my parents’ three dogs, my brother’s three dogs and cat, and many of my friends’ dogs and cats. I also have two dogs of my own! I truly treat animals like family. I know that sounds cliché, but I mean it wholeheartedly. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while their family is away. I think my commitment to animals is best shown through my own dogs. I intentionally adopted both of them from shelters. One was only an hour away from being put down when I brought him home, and the other was a puppy who desperately needed a home before a winter storm. I’ve also taken in multiple animals I’ve found on the side of the road to make sure they were safely returned to their homes or taken to the appropriate place for care. I’ll always do what I can to make sure an animal is safe and cared for. I’ve experienced many different stages and personalities of pet care, from 3-month-old puppies and dogs in heat to reactive or sassy dogs and senior pets of all sizes. I understand that every animal is different and has their own routines, personalities, and needs, and I’m happy to work with them. I have such a strong passion for animals, and I’d love the opportunity to care for yours when you need an extra hand! I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets, and I would feel incredibly grateful to be that person for you and your furry family members. I can help on weekdays, I am just not available between 8:30am-5:30pm M-Fri. I work remote Thursday and Friday so I am able to be more flexible those days to meet your needs. Weekends, I can help more often! When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll respect your space and maintain their normal routine and environment as closely as possible. I have two high-energy dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of routine, playtime, love, exercise, and mental stimulation. I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention and enrichment they need to feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

“The Best Home Away from Home! Our dogs got a pampering vacation while we had one too! I honestly believe that our dogs left their home with their hearts and bellies full. We are hiring them again in a month an a half and for over 10 days. Communication was really easy and I had a lot of specific info around feeding and walks. They were very welcoming as I showed up with multiple dog beds and leashes and treat bags and refrigerated food, etc, etc. Our trip was international and we felt peace of mind the whole time away. Titan is such a mama's boy that he won't walk with anyone else and Tasha is so timid that she won't warm up to anyone. Soon the photos and videos of Tasha rolling onto her back for tummy caresses and both on walks with tails wagging and sleeping on their laps and beds. Michelle was wonderful with Sprout! This was his first stay away from home, so I was definitely a little anxious, but she made the whole experience so much easier. She sent us picture updates throughout his stay, and it was so reassuring to see him happy, comfortable, and having such a great time playing with her pups. She was also incredibly accommodating and attentive to all of our requests for his care and routine, which I really appreciated. Sprout clearly had a great time, and we felt like he was in very good hands with her. We would absolutely book with Michelle again!
