Pet care experience

Home Away From Home ❤️

We have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including two years working at a professional dog boarding facility. We’re comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, ages, energy levels, and routines, and we understand how important it is for your pup to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. We’re also proud to have earned over 54 five-star reviews from pet parents who have trusted us with their furry family members! Our own dogs, Hazel and Medusa, are very loved (and definitely spoiled!) and enjoy having new friends around. We have a spacious backyard for plenty of playtime, a dog park right across the street, and we love taking walks around the neighborhood. Whether your pup loves to play, go for walks, or just relax and get lots of attention, we’ll treat them like part of the family and make sure they get the love and care they deserve while you’re away.

Patricia, Jason and family were fantastic!!!! After many years of being a Rover sitter myself, this was my first time using Rover and I would definitely use Patricia and Jason again! They took such great care of Tabor, were so kind, and I could tell my dog was sad to leave. He passed out as soon as we got home! He was very well loved and I am so grateful!

Communication was great and she was amazing even after Renegade marked some spots in her home. Sent me pictures and updated me every day.

Schedule

Because we’re self-employed and set our own schedules, pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. This allows us to spend plenty of time at home with your pup instead of them being crated or left alone for long periods of time. We plan our days around the pets in our care, making sure they get plenty of potty breaks, outdoor playtime, walks, attention, and of course, lots of cuddles! We love being able to give each pup the time and attention they’re used to getting at home so they can feel comfortable and loved while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

We own our home in a newer, pet-friendly neighborhood, giving your pup plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at home. We want the pets in our care to feel like part of the family, so they’re able to spend time with us throughout the house and enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time in our backyard. We do not keep dogs crated throughout the day. If we need to leave the house, we will only crate your pup if they are already crate trained and that is part of their normal routine. We’re happy to follow your pet’s usual feeding, sleeping, walking, medication, and potty schedule as closely as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Most importantly, your pup will get lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, and love while they’re with us!

Pets

A typical day

A typical day starts with breakfast followed by a potty break in our fenced-in backyard. Once everyone has had a chance to wake up and get settled, we love taking a morning walk around the neighborhood when the weather allows. Throughout the day, your pup can enjoy plenty of backyard time, play with our dogs, cuddle up with us, or simply relax and make themselves at home. Our 1-year-old loves playing tug-of-war with our dogs, so there’s usually someone ready for a game! If your pup normally eats lunch, we’ll make sure to stick to their usual feeding schedule as well. With our fenced-in backyard, there are plenty of opportunities for potty breaks and outdoor play throughout the day. In the evening, we’ll serve dinner, have another round of outside time and play, and then wind down for a relaxing night and bedtime. We’re happy to adjust our routine to your pup’s personality and energy level—whether they love staying active or would rather spend the day getting cuddles on the couch!

Before your pup’s stay, please let us know how they do around small children and other dogs. We have two toddlers who absolutely love dogs, so we want to make sure everyone will be comfortable and safe together. Please also let us know if your dog is an escape artist or has a history of jumping fences. Our backyard is fully fenced and secure, but our fence is on the shorter side, so this is especially important for larger dogs who may be able to jump it. We’d also love to know about your pup’s normal routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, anxiety, triggers, or any other special needs. The more we know about your pup, the better we can make their stay feel safe, comfortable, and like home!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
