“I couldn’t say enough great things about Nancy and Ralph. They are so fantastic, they send tons of updates, they truly care about the animals they care for, and they spoil my pup in the best ways. I know it’s a good thing when my pup gets so excited to go to their house. I’d give 10 stars if I could!”
“I always feel so comfortable leaving my dog with Marissa. I have a senior pup, and she is great about giving medication, texting me with updates, and providing the extra attention and care he needs.”
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life and have always had a dog as part of my family. I currently have a senior dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets—especially when they’re family! I’ve been taking care of neighbors’ pets and watching our family dogs while they’re out of town since high school, which has given me years of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs. I absolutely love animals and would be so happy to provide your pet with the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away. I always take the time to get to know each pet individually so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, extra playtime, companionship, or just someone to check in and make sure they’re happy and comfortable, I’m here to help. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring, responsible hands. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your pup and become someone you can count on! 🐾❤️ I currently work part-time outside of the home in the mornings, and I work from home for the remainder of my workday. This gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day to provide your pup with the attention and care they need, including walks, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I’m able to build pet care into my daily routine and will make sure your dog gets regular attention rather than being left alone for long periods. I’m happy to work with your pup’s usual routine and schedule to help them feel comfortable and at home while you’re away! I live in a comfortable home where your pup can feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. While we don’t have a fenced-in yard, I’m happy to always take dogs outside on a leash for potty breaks and fresh air, or take them for a walk if they need some extra exercise and enrichment. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s normal routine and any specific instructions you provide. I have plenty of space for a crate if your pup is crate-trained or prefers having their own familiar space. For drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, fresh water, potty breaks, and playtime or exercise based on their needs. I take safety seriously and will always keep your pet supervised and secure while in my care. My goal is to make your pup feel comfortable and give you peace of mind while you’re away.
“Molly loves her time with Denise. I felt nervous about dropping her off the first time but she became fast friends with Denise and her family. Denise kept me posted on a daily basis and put my mind at ease.”

“Alyssa is communicative and accommodating. And, importantly, my dog is always calm and happy when I pick her up, which I take to be a great sign of being well cared for. Would rebook!”

“BEST DOG SITTER OUT THERE! Christen was so so sweet to my Bleu when I was out of town for a week. I received a ton of really great pictures and daily updates. You can truly tell how much she cares about your pup and made sure they get all the love while you’re gone. 10/10 recommending to all my friends and absolutely returning!!”

“Alison was very welcoming of my dog. Even after my dog was a bit of a bully to her sweet dog during the middle of my trip, Alison still had mine playing and having a wonderful time. She sent pictures and a video of the dogs playing while I was away. Great communication.”

“Leilani is absolutely amazing, we have a 12 y.o Pomeranian and he was loved and so well looked after. We have had bad experiences in the past with our old man, so we are extremely picky. I cant say enough good things about Leilani, she is our now go to sitter, so much so our little man didnt even look back when we dropped him off he was so happy to spend time with Leilani were his is treated as royalty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

“Larissa with family took care of our dog so well and he was immediately relaxed there. Their friendly dog Cash and our Sancho had a great time together. We will definately ask them to take care of him again, when we need it.”

“Frances was so nice and an amazing host for my puppy! She took some really great photos of him on his activities and kept me up to date on his stay with multiple updates throughout the day. 100% recommend booking with her for a great stay for your pup!”

“Lexi really enjoyed being there and I have nothing but good things to say about these two. I appreciate them coming through for me and keeping lexi happy in my absence!”

“My puppy Stella had a great time with Stephanie and her dogs. Stephanie sent tons of pictures and videos of Stella playing at her amazing house! She has a pool which is perfect on hot days, Stella sure enjoyed it. I would definitely rebook and refer everyone to this sitter!”

“Rich is a super chill guy, and was able to provide exactly what our rescue dog needed, a peaceful and calm environment. In the three weeks that Rich had Bubbles, Bubbles became way more relaxed than he was before. Rich also dealt perfectly with some of Bubbles stubbornness and they became buddies. Next time I need a sitter, Rich will absolutely be my first option.”
“Denise is very sweet. She kept my dog, Wyatt, which I adopted from Austin Pets Alive a little over 3 months ago. She sent me MULTIPLE pictures every day, as well as a little update... just to let me know that he was getting along with her own dog, as well as another that she had to keep part of the time. She also sent me some videos at the end... but the daily pictures & updates put me at ease!!! 👍👍👍 😁😁😁 👏👏👏”

“my dogs have a bit of separation anxiety and are usually stressed after boarding, but they seem extremely happy and as though they had a great time! Patches was very responsive and flexible and sent daily photos and updates. would book again!”

“Linda is GREAT! My boy Mamba seemed like he had a great time. I left him with Linda for 7 days (Saturday-Saturday), it was my first time leaving him with someone other than family and she made sure to make sure I was comfortable by sending me LOTS of great photos everyday of Mamba and their activities they were doing. She has a great personality and I will definitely be back. I am from another state so I will be traveling frequently and I’m glad to have found someone who can take care of my playful baby boy. Thanks Linda!”

“What an amazing experience! Lucia is the most calm, kind, and caring people for animals. She and her family took such great care of our little Muffin. My puppy played beautifully with her dogs and came home looking confident and relaxed. I am so happy for the experience and if I weren’t moving across country next week, I would use her again and again!”

I am so thankful that I found Lacy! She treated our two beloved pups with so much love and care. I especially appreciated the updates and pictures she sent throughout the day—it gave us such peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious that our dogs were loved on, exercised, and pampered just like they are at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter and would absolutely recommend Lacy to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their furry family members!

Emma and her family took wonderful care of our dog, Charlie! They treated Charlie like one of their own and gave her so much love and attention while we were away. We received lots of updates and photos. This gave us peace of mind that Charlie was happy, comfortable and well cared for. We came home to a happy healthy pup! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
