“Things went well considering this was Ronin's first time away. Looks like they had fun from what we hear and the few pictures we got. Michael definitely seems to adopt the pups when they're in his care and although we had some miscommunication about pick up availability, it all worked out in the end.”

“Olivia took wonderful care of our pup while we were out of town. She was so communicative, she provided updates around feeding times, complete with pictures. She provided lots of opportunities for exercise and our pup made new friends with her dogs. Will definitely look to get again on our next trip.”

“Lillyann took the very best care of our most precious fur babies! She was very responsive, sent frequent updates, the furries were relaxed and comfortable at home. Highly recommend!”

“We are so happy we found Angie to look after Ozzy. She went above and beyond to make him feel at home, treating him with the same care she’d give her own pet. Ozzy especially loved their games of fetch! It’s such a relief knowing he’s in good hands. We’ll definitely be booking with her again”

“Chuck was great at communicating—he responds quickly and sent pictures of my dog while I was away, which I really appreciated! When I went to pick my dog up, it was quite clear that he had made himself at home there. Chuck even taught him a new trick:)”

“Paula and Chad provided personalized service, including sending pictures of our dog who felt included and welcomed to their home; they are very accommodating. Highly recommended”

“Gabriel and Savannah were so great with both of my dogs! They were quick to respond and sent updates and pictures every single day! They looked like they were having the time of their life in every photo 🥹 My two dogs aren’t the easiest to handle and they handled them flawlessly! I will 100% be booking them again and feel very comfortable with my dogs in their hands!”

“We had a last minute request for Malu to watch our pup. She ecstatically agreed and was so great with communication. She gave us daily updates with photos of how happy and content our dog was doing. He looked like he was well loved and very much enjoyed his stay. We're looking forward to the next time we can bring him to stay at Malu's! Thank you so much! I would highly recommend!”

“Maura and Shawn were awesome with our senior dog, providing plenty of pictures and cute little updates about her throughout the day. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring dog sitters, and we’ll definitely be reaching out to them again if we travel out of state.”

“Lacy was amazing with our two boys. We have an older Lab and a 6yr old Jack Russell. Her pups played with them like they were old friends. She sent plenty of pictures so I knew they were being treated well. I’d definitely use Lacy again. I can’t recommend her more than she is terrific! Her love for dogs is real and amazing’. Will use her again when we come to visit. Thank you Lacy”

“If you are looking for a loving, caring and safe household to care for your fur baby, Michael and Julie are your caretakers! They provided outstanding care plus updates and photos of my dog playing with theirs and having a good time. Thanks again, Michael and Julie!! See you next time.”

About: I have had Labradors all my Life. I just recently lost my soul dog, I am not ready to get a new pet of my own, but I would love to open my heart to love on some new furry friends. I am a recently retired school teacher, and I work part time from home. We have a beautiful fenced in backyard with a pool where your baby can play, swim if they want, and will be greatly loved and cared for. I do not have any other pets in the home and will only sit with one dog at a time. I am happy to leash walk your dog daily, if that is something they would enjoy. As a retiree, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide regular attention, exercise, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. I do not have any other pets at home, and I prefer to only keep one at a time so I can give your baby the one on one special attention and love they deserve. I prefer dogs to sleep on their own beds, and or their own crate at night. No puppies or chewers please.
About: I have been a dog foster for eight years in the Dallas area with Take Me Home Pet Rescue. I fostered at least a dozen dogs, but seven in particular needed special attention to make them ready to be great pets. I spent time on socialization, behavior, obedience and at least four of them got their basic Canine Good Citizen certification. Fostering gave me the opportunity to learn about various breeds, behaviors and work with dog behaviorists, dog day cares and behavior vets. I have owned four rescue dogs and taken them through the Canine Good Citizen program.:two of them through the third level. My tripawd dog, Rango, has done Rally at the novice level. And Lumi, my most recent rescue from PAWS, is also CGC Certified and ready to do some therapy work once she gets over her car-sickness. I have learned so much from my fostering experiences and working with various dogs. All the training is very positive and relationship-based. I am not trainer, but happy to work with your trainer. After moving to Dripping Springs, I have kept some friends and neighbors dogs and now adding some dog sitting into my substitute teaching schedule. Your dog will stay with Lumi (three year old Lab mix) and Rango (an eleven year old border collie and Aussie mix). We have a nice fenced, shaded and good sized back yard with birds and squirrels. We walk in our park and native woods behind our house almost every morning after breakfast. Our one-story home has mostly all linoleum plank vinyl flooring. I feed the dogs apart twice a day and there is no food aggression. They take treats together and they have become bonded. Our neighborhood is quiet and a nice mix of all ages with homes and quarter acre yards. I am an artist who works from home and I substitute teach art and early elementary at our ISD. My schedule will show booked substituting and dog sitting. I will stay home on days I know I'm keeping your dog. Your dog will get a walk, play with my pups and get some TLC. Because I teach, I also have security and background clearance with the school district. Your dog should be good with other dogs, house trained, spayed/neutered and a natural initial level of separation anxiety that will wane. Because of my fostering experience with dog transitions, I ask first-time pups and parents to come see us, our house and yard to make sure it's a good match for everyone. When a dog comes and goes with their owners, they are far more secure coming a second time and being left. I want a successful visit for everyone and look forward to repeat visits. I will treat your dog with care, love and safety. I look forward to meeting you and your pup. I substitute teach and on days I'm not teaching or know I'm boarding, I'll stay home. I may run a quick errand, especially if you have a multi-day stay, but I will be home maybe doing my art, maybe working in the back yard with the dogs in the back roaming around while I work. I have a fenced back yard that is shady and secure. I can crate your dog as needed. I have two dogs who are friendly and playful, but submissive and give their guests space. I will feed all dogs in separate areas. If I go run a quick errand, I will make sure the dogs go outside and I'll check in with you beforehand about crating or separating. I will walk each dog separately once during the day, usually in the morning. If your dog has a bed, feel free to bring it and if well potty trained, it can bunk in the bedroom with us so it is part of the pack. Some dogs want to sleep in the bed and really depends on how the dogs get along, especially the first night or two as it does take natural adjustment time.

“Emma L is amazing. Her home is beautiful and a perfect play spot for dogs. She is obviously a HUGE dog lover and it was demonstrated from the heart from first meeting to final pick up. She sent photos every day of my dog Flynn having a blast and fitting right in at their home. Made me worry-free throughout my 6 day trip. I would HIGHLY recommend Emma and will definitely have Flynn stay with her again. Jerome”

“We love-love-love working with Robyn and Desmond for boarding our Zadie. They are so easy to work with, clearly love the dogs in their care, and send updates that show how much fun Zadie is having at their house. Highly recommend!”

“We had a great experience. Aine was communicative, and sent daily photos/videos. She even provided a sweet card with photos of Suki during her stay when I picked her up. I know Suki was in great hands. I'd definitely use Aine and Jared again!”

“Denise is truly a lifesaver! I couldn't have asked for a better sitter for my Doxiepoo, Toby, especially for our last-minute 3-day, 2-night booking. From the moment we arrived, Denise was incredibly welcoming and professional. She walked me through her routine and handled the introductions between Toby and the other dogs perfectly, making drop-off and pick-up an absolute breeze. Throughout Toby's stay, Denise was a fantastic communicator, sending lots of wonderful photo updates that showed how much fun he was having. Toby can be a little escape artist, but Denise kept a close eye on him and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such safe hands. When I picked him up, Toby was so happy and had clearly bonded with both Denise and the other dogs. I highly recommend Denise and will definitely be booking with her again. She is a natural with dogs and a true gem!”

About: I’m the most thorough cat litter box cleaner you’ll ever meet! I have experience administering medication. I would not have any other pets in the home while hosting your cat.

About: I’ve grown up around cats and currently live with four of my own, so caring for them has always been a big part of my everyday life! Over the years, I’ve been a caregiver for cats of all ages and backgrounds, and I’ve gained a lot of experience working with different personalities and needs. Some of the cats I’ve cared for have had medical conditions, disabilities, anxiety, or behavioral challenges, and I’m very comfortable adjusting my approach depending on the cat. I have experience giving both oral and injectable medications, basic behavioral training, and I’m familiar with routines that include ongoing health monitoring, and more involved care when needed. On a daily basis, I handle everything from feeding schedules and litter box care to helping cats feel comfortable, safe, and understood in their environment. I’m used to cats who are independent, shy, reactive, or very affectionate, and I take the time to let each one adjust at their own pace. My goal is always to meet cats where they are, whether that means giving them space, building trust slowly, or just making sure their routine stays consistent while you’re away. I also provide updates so you can feel confident about how they’re doing while in my care. Most of all, I aim to provide a calm and positive experience for both you and your cat, and enjoy helping out in any way that I can! [P.S. If your cat enjoys walking, I can also take those bookings through my Dog Walking services]

I have a big fenced yard for doggies to play in, as well as two golden retrievers to play with. I have plenty of space and toys to help make your pet feel comfortable within our home.

About: I got two lovely little kittens when I was just 8 years old and gained full responsibility of one of them at 10. This included cleaning her litter box regularly, feeding and watering her, and making sure she got lots of love! The picture shown is with my current baby Chief who I adore (so much that I included him in my senior photos!), I love teaching him tricks and taking so many pictures of him he's the cutest! My baby has had tummy issues in the past which I pushed to get him to the vet, my little skinny baby was eating everything in his sight then throwing it up! I was determined to get him healthy and so I did just that. I will let you know if I find anything appearing wrong with your cat when I take care of them! It is my duty to keep all the babies of the world happy and healthy 🥰

From light training reinforcement to exciting walks and invigorating hikes, every moment is tailored to your dog's happiness and well-being. Entrust your beloved companion to me, where they'll find a second home filled with love, care, and adventure. I currently work part-time (flexibly) from home, so I am able to consistently attend to your pup's needs and provide play, snuggles, and exercise throughout the week/weekend. About: Hi! I’m Jamie, nice to e-meet you!! I'm new to this site and am hoping to make some new furry friends! I’ve completed the Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid online course. I grew up with all sorts of pets and love all animals. Even spiders, unless they touch me. 😂 My claim to cat fame is that I taught my cat to use the toilet! Best thing I ever did! I think the reason animals are so comfortable with me is because I speak to them in this funny, high voice and it’s both intriguing and soothing to them. It started as something funny I just did and now I can’t even remember what I sounded like before. Fun fact, you will never, ever, ever hear me sing, unless it’s to an animal. For some reason I can come up with a new song for every animal or situation and I can turn every existing song into a song about an animal. Animals are the best. I work from home and need frequent breaks. I love nature and animals, so this app seems like a wonderful way to make new furry or non-furry friends. 🥰 I have a ton of experience getting to know animals to make new friends, soothing them by singing to them and speaking to them in a high, funny voice. My three year old tabby cat is great at getting even the grumpiest animals to fall in love with her. 🐾

“Emma was amazing with my dog and her dog, Beau, is the sweetest boy ever! As a first time Rover user, my anxiety quickly melted away after meeting Emma and introducing our dogs. I knew I was leaving my boy in the best possible hands and would not hesitate to recommend Emma!!”

“Megan took great care of our pups. She sent us photos which gave us peace of mind since we could see they were having a blast. They came home completely wiped out from all the playtime with her pup. ❤️”

About: Hi, I’m Ty! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and can’t imagine a day without them. From 15 to 18, I ran my own dog walking business before heading off to college — where I started fostering pups and helping them find their forever families. Whether it’s energetic playtime, relaxing walks, or just a reassuring presence while you’re away, I’m all about giving every dog the care and attention they deserve. I treat every dog like my own — with patience, consistency, and plenty of love. Your pet’s happiness and safety always come first! I am very flexible with my hours and can work with whatever people need me. Weekends are what usually work best but I also can meet serval times during the week to fit whatever needs are required. I treate every home as if it were my own. I leave it exactly how I found it and I never rush a situation until I know exactly how to handle it. I ensure that all safety measures are in place before entering and leaving a home as well as taking care of them outside of the home on walks.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. I currently have two dogs of my own, and they’ve taught me so much about patience, responsibility, and the different personalities pets can have. What sets me apart is the level of attention and love I give—I truly treat every pet like my own. I’m known for being reliable, caring, and flexible, and many neighbors and friends trust me with their pets because they know I go above and beyond. Whether it’s following a detailed routine, giving extra cuddles, or helping pets feel comfortable in a new environment, I always make sure they feel safe and happy. I am a college student at Arizona State University and I am home for a few weeks. I don’t currently have a job, so I am very flexible and willing to help out wherever is needed. I treat every pet like part of my family! In my home or yours, I keep their routine the same—meals, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and snuggles. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved, and I’m always happy to send lots of updates and photos so you know they’re doing great.
About: New to Rover but caring for pets and homes locally as if they were my own has been part of my life for years. I know how important it is to trust the person you’re leaving your pets with and I take that to heart. I’m patient, reliable, and pay close attention to the little things that keep pets happy and homes feeling cared for. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including playful puppies and gentle senior pets who may need extra time, medications, or a softer touch. I’m comfortable handling different routines, personalities, and special needs. Beyond pet care, I’m respectful of your home and keep everything tidy so you return to a space that feels just the way you left it—or a little better! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily life because I work remotely from home. That means I’m around throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, and plenty of companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to stick closely to each pet’s normal routine, whether they need extra attention, medication, or just a reassuring presence. Having animals around just makes my days better, so it never feels like a job to me. When I’m staying in a client’s home, I keep pets on their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. That means regular meals, walks, playtime, and as many snuggles as they can stand:)

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and am very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. My mom was an obedience trainer, so I’ve picked up helpful skills with basic training and handling, especially with younger or energetic dogs. I’m reliable with house sitting, responsible, and treat every pet like my own. I’m comfortable adapting to different animals’ needs and always prioritize keeping them safe, calm, and well cared for. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent care throughout the day. I can accommodate morning and evening check-ins, feeding, walks, and any other routines your pet needs. I’m able to plan my time around each booking to make sure your pet gets reliable and attentive care. I offer in-home pet care including check-ins, overnight stays, and house sitting for both dogs and cats. I focus on following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible; feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, and plenty of attention based on their personality and needs. I also make sure your home is respected and kept clean and secure while you’re away. At this time, I do not offer boarding in my home since I currently live with multiple dogs and want to ensure a calm and comfortable environment for all animals involved.

“Lexi really enjoyed being there and I have nothing but good things to say about these two. I appreciate them coming through for me and keeping lexi happy in my absence!”

“Kati and Brian and their son Logan and pup Louie are the perfect choice for us and our girl Brandi! She loves her new friends and our weeklong stay went perfectly! They are now our number one go to choice for care for our pup! Brandi is excited and wags her tail everytime we go to their home and we know she’s in great hands!”

“Megan was a great dog sitter for Captain. She did a great job taking care of him and sending me updates. She was prompt in her responses and very flexible in terms of scheduling. Would definitely book with her again.”

“Iuliia was fantastic and really helped us out over Thanksgiving by caring for our elderly Golden Retriever. She was reliable, attentive, and kept us updated throughout our trip. We returned to a calm, well-cared-for dog. Highly recommend her for professional, dependable pet care.”
