About: I have been a dog foster for eight years in the Dallas area with Take Me Home Pet Rescue. I fostered at least a dozen dogs, but seven in particular needed special attention to make them ready to be great pets. I spent time on socialization, behavior, obedience and at least four of them got their basic Canine Good Citizen certification. Fostering gave me the opportunity to learn about various breeds, behaviors and work with dog behaviorists, dog day cares and behavior vets. I have owned four rescue dogs and taken them through the Canine Good Citizen program.:two of them through the third level. My tripawd dog, Rango, has done Rally at the novice level. And Lumi, my most recent rescue from PAWS, is also CGC Certified and ready to do some therapy work once she gets over her car-sickness. I have learned so much from my fostering experiences and working with various dogs. All the training is very positive and relationship-based. I am not trainer, but happy to work with your trainer. After moving to Dripping Springs, I have kept some friends and neighbors dogs and now adding some dog sitting into my substitute teaching schedule. Your dog will stay with Lumi (three year old Lab mix) and Rango (an eleven year old border collie and Aussie mix). We have a nice fenced, shaded and good sized back yard with birds and squirrels. We walk in our park and native woods behind our house almost every morning after breakfast. Our one-story home has mostly all linoleum plank vinyl flooring. I feed the dogs apart twice a day and there is no food aggression. They take treats together and they have become bonded. Our neighborhood is quiet and a nice mix of all ages with homes and quarter acre yards. I am an artist who works from home and I substitute teach art and early elementary at our ISD. My schedule will show booked substituting and dog sitting. I will stay home on days I know I'm keeping your dog. Your dog will get a walk, play with my pups and get some TLC. Because I teach, I also have security and background clearance with the school district. Your dog should be good with other dogs, house trained, spayed/neutered and a natural initial level of separation anxiety that will wane. Because of my fostering experience with dog transitions, I ask first-time pups and parents to come see us, our house and yard to make sure it's a good match for everyone. When a dog comes and goes with their owners, they are far more secure coming a second time and being left. I want a successful visit for everyone and look forward to repeat visits. I will treat your dog with care, love and safety. I look forward to meeting you and your pup. I substitute teach and on days I'm not teaching or know I'm boarding, I'll stay home. I may run a quick errand, especially if you have a multi-day stay, but I will be home maybe doing my art, maybe working in the back yard with the dogs in the back roaming around while I work. I have a fenced back yard that is shady and secure. I can crate your dog as needed. I have two dogs who are friendly and playful, but submissive and give their guests space. I will feed all dogs in separate areas. If I go run a quick errand, I will make sure the dogs go outside and I'll check in with you beforehand about crating or separating. I will walk each dog separately once during the day, usually in the morning. If your dog has a bed, feel free to bring it and if well potty trained, it can bunk in the bedroom with us so it is part of the pack. Some dogs want to sleep in the bed and really depends on how the dogs get along, especially the first night or two as it does take natural adjustment time.

“It can be a little nerve-racking leaving your dogs with a stranger, but I instantly felt comfortable leaving Lilly with Emma and her family! Emma is very responsive with messaging and checked in with pictures and messages during Lilly’s stay. I can’t recommend Emma highly enough, your dogs will be in great hands!”

“Super sitter! Graciously accommodated a schedule change due to weather and took super care of my pup. Sent great pics showing mine and her dogs enjoying her spacious back yard. 10/10 will rover again!”

“Maura and Shawn always take the best care of our dog Luke. Booking with them is seamless and we’re always at ease knowing he’s in good hands while we’re away. We’ll continue to use Maura and Shawn for as long as they’ll have him!”

“We love-love-love working with Robyn and Desmond for boarding our Zadie. They are so easy to work with, clearly love the dogs in their care, and send updates that show how much fun Zadie is having at their house. Highly recommend!”

“Larissa and James were fantastic pet sitters on the Rover platform! They took excellent care of my pet and provided regular updates with adorable pictures. I highly recommend Larissa and James to anyone seeking loving and responsible pet sitters. I will undoubtedly trust them with my pet's care again in the future. Thanks to them, I had peace of mind during my time away, knowing my furry friend was in the best hands possible. Thank you both for being fantastic pet sitters!”

“Carrie was amazing! Very quick communication, always on time. Super sweet to our 3 kitties and had no problem giving our diabetic kitty his oral medication. Would highly recommend Carrie to anyone and will be definitely booking her again in the future! :)”

“Lilyanna was amazing! Even though both of us had hectic weeks going into my time away from home she was communicative and she sent so many pictures of my girls. When I got home they were happy and relaxed and I could tell they had been well cared for. Thanks Lilyanna!”

“Megan really helped make our trip so much more relaxed and assured our kitties were in great hands! She was so easy to work with on a changing schedule throughout the week and we felt comfortable and confident in her abilities and professionalism. Megan did great with medications as well and our cats also loved the playtime and cuddles! Thank you!! :)”

“We are so lucky to have found Bella and Mary Beth! They are such a sweet duo and took excellent care of my cat for two weeks. It’s hard to be away from fur babies for so long, but Bella and her mom were so attentive, communicative, and made sure my little guy was well loved and cared for - it gave me so much peace of mind. Will definitely hire again when the time comes! Highly recommend.”

“Adrianna did a wonderful job taking care of our kitty. She had no problem with Mia's fairly complicated raw diet instructions, which included renal tablets and drops. She kept Mia's water topped off, scooped the kitty pan and fed the wild birds outside. She adhered to the schedule we asked for and sent photo updates. It was our first time booking with Adrianna, and it was a great experiance. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up around cats and currently live with four of my own, so caring for them has always been a big part of my everyday life! Over the years, I’ve been a caregiver for cats of all ages and backgrounds, and I’ve gained a lot of experience working with different personalities and needs. On a daily basis, I handle everything from feeding schedules and litter box care to helping cats feel comfortable, safe, and understood in their environment. I’m used to cats who are independent, shy, reactive, or very affectionate, and I take the time to let each one adjust at their own pace. My goal is always to meet cats where they are, whether that means giving them space, building trust slowly, or just making sure their routine stays consistent while you’re away. I also provide updates so you can feel confident about how they’re doing while in my care. Most of all, I aim to provide a calm and positive experience for both you and your cat, and enjoy helping out in any way that I can! [P.S. “I had an excellent experience with Alexandra. She took such great care of my dog and treated him like her own. I received regular updates and adorable photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My dog came home very happy. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

“I am 100% sure that there is not a better place for Maggie to be than with Claire. Maggie was waiting for me in the mornings to be ready to leave the house and go to day care with Claire and her dogs. Claire sent me pictures and video showing me what a good time Maggie was having. She even took Maggie for long walks. Claire has a very nice property that is perfect for dogs. I can't be happier that Claire can take care of Maggie.”

About: Hi! I’m Jamie, nice to e-meet you!! I'm new to this site and am hoping to make some new furry friends! I’ve completed the Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid online course. I grew up with all sorts of pets and love all animals. Even spiders, unless they touch me. 😂 My claim to cat fame is that I taught my cat to use the toilet! Best thing I ever did! I think the reason animals are so comfortable with me is because I speak to them in this funny, high voice and it’s both intriguing and soothing to them. It started as something funny I just did and now I can’t even remember what I sounded like before. Fun fact, you will never, ever, ever hear me sing, unless it’s to an animal. For some reason I can come up with a new song for every animal or situation and I can turn every existing song into a song about an animal. Animals are the best. I work from home and need frequent breaks. I love nature and animals, so this app seems like a wonderful way to make new furry or non-furry friends. 🥰 I have a ton of experience getting to know animals to make new friends, soothing them by singing to them and speaking to them in a high, funny voice. My three year old tabby cat is great at getting even the grumpiest animals to fall in love with her. 🐾

“Emma was the perfect host! My dogs were well taken of through out their visit. Emma was very flexible with the timing and worked to accommodate our needs! My girls loved their walks and everything was first class! Emma is my Austin connection! Thanks, Emma! Lucy Lou and Lilly Bug Love you!💕🐶🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“If you're scrolling & not sure who to choose...look no further. Leilani is the only pet sitter you need. An exceptional sitter who goes above and beyond. Her love for animals was obvious from the moment I contacted her. She treated my pet with so much care, patience, and genuine affection. She is reliable, attentive, and clearly passionate about animals. I received thoughtful updates, and my pet was calm, comfortable, and well‑cared‑for when I picked her up. A true professional with a big heart. Mario”

“Frances was fantastic! She kept us in the loop about how our beloved puppy was doing all day while in daycare. We appreciate the amount of activity she initiated, and the fact that her dogs made great friends to help calm our dog. Would definitely recommend!”

“Absolutely recommend Daniel, My pet absolutely loves spending time with him and gets so excited every time he sees him. He is also incredibly knowledgeable about dog behavior and care, which gives me total peace of mind whenever I’m away. He is professional and very reliable. He also keeps me posted by sharing photos and videos!”

“Lucia did an amazing job with our Yogi! She kept us updated on him and sent lots of photos while we were away. We’re so blessed to have found her and will definitely be using her again next time we are out of town!”

“Carrie was absolutely wonderful! My dog is shy and she did well with making her feel comfortable. Carrie would send multiple pictures and gave her lots of love! She also realized we would be getting home late and she left a light on for my dog as well as us! How thoughtful!”

About: Time and love! Recently retired with nothing but time and excitement to care for others’ beloved pets, especially because I don’t currently have any of my own. I have a large, fenced in backyard in the quiet hill country. There is a lovely trail for taking walks, and I love to take the pups for rides in the car! I’m experienced in administering and staying on top of medications and treatments. My daughter has two dogs that she sometimes brings for visits. So, if your dog is social, there is an opportunity for playtime with fellow furry friends. Caring for your pets would be my one and only priority. I spend the majority of time at home, and exercise is very important to me so I hope your dog loves to walk! Safety and affection are priority. Keeping a close eye on your pet and always making sure all needs are met is a guarantee when you put them in my care!
About: I am a dog & cat mom who is also in law school! My pets are my entire world and your pets will be as well. I go above and beyond the bare minimum because I am such an avid animal lover, so rest assured your pet will be well taken care of while you enjoy your time away. I am a law student who works from home, so I have plenty of time on my hands to play with your animals and ensure they are getting the proper amount of attention while you’re away. My pets are treated like angels. I have two french bulldogs who require a lot of attention and I don’t mind giving it. Additionally, I have medium and very large dogs who are playful and also get a lot of attention. One of my large dogs is special needs and thriving.
About: I have grown up around animals and currently care for four cats, so pet care has always been a big part of my daily life! Over the years, I’ve also helped neighbors with dog walking and pet sitting, and volunteered with animal shelters, which have given me hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and temperaments. I especially enjoy working with cats and have experience with all ages and backgrounds, including cats with specific medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable with administering oral and injectable medications, and I’m very attentive to routine, comfort, and stress levels, especially for anxious pets. In addition to cat care, I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. Currently, I am most familiar with Labs and Doodles, but have experience walking dogs of different sizes (including puppies!) and breeds through pet sitting and helping neighbors, and I’m confident handling structured walks and daily care routines. I currently work part-time and am in college, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide consistent communication and frequent updates while I’m with your pets! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and prioritize their normal routine so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. At this time, I am not boarding dogs in my home. For cat boarding, however, I provide a calm, indoor-focused environment where safety and supervision are always the priority.

About: Hi, I’m Ty! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and can’t imagine a day without them. We got so many updates throughout the weekend and Charlie got so much activity — 10/10 would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!”

“We had a last minute request for Malu to watch our pup. She ecstatically agreed and was so great with communication. She gave us daily updates with photos of how happy and content our dog was doing. He looked like he was well loved and very much enjoyed his stay. We're looking forward to the next time we can bring him to stay at Malu's! Thank you so much! I would highly recommend!”

“Angie took my puppy Franklin very last minute and treated him like he was one of their own. Her and her family were super sweet and very understanding when we were late for our time window due to car troubles. When I picked up Franklin he was happy and sleepy from all the fun had!”

“We would absolutely recommend Marie and her family! This is the 2nd time our girl Izzy has stayed with them and we always feel so comfortable that she’s having a great time and getting the love she deserves”

“Erica is truly amazing! My 6 month old puppy LOVES Erica’s dog, Ella. Erica does an amazing job communicating and truly treats Doug as her own. We are so grateful to have found Erica!”

“Morgan was amazing with our sweet dog Harley. Harley is typically anxious and timid with new friends, but Morgan made her feel right at home and she was her happy, goofy and playful self immediately. It made our travels so much easier knowing that she was comfortable and enjoying herself while we were away. Morgan was great about sending lots of photos and updates throughout our trip so our family could see the puppy adventures she was getting into herself. Will absolutely book with Morgan over and over again. Thank you, Morgan!”
“Lexi really enjoyed being there and I have nothing but good things to say about these two. I appreciate them coming through for me and keeping lexi happy in my absence!”

“Iuliia watched my two mini dachshunds and they had a great time. She took great care of them, sent lots of pictures and I will definitely leave them with her the next time I’m out of town.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! They truly went the extra mile in every aspect of our dog's stay. From the moment we dropped our dog off, they made both us and our dog feel like family. Communication was outstanding, and we received so many adorable photos and updates throughout the stay, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious our dog was loved, well cared for, and having the best time. We are so grateful and will absolutely be booking with them again. Highly recommend!”

“I knew my boy was safe and happy with Stephanie. She is clearly a special person who loves dogs like they’re her own and she sent photos and notes throughout the stay. I felt really happy knowing my little guy was well loved on and exercised and socialized while he was with her. She’s my official sitter from now on.”

“Rich is a super chill guy, and was able to provide exactly what our rescue dog needed, a peaceful and calm environment. In the three weeks that Rich had Bubbles, Bubbles became way more relaxed than he was before. Rich also dealt perfectly with some of Bubbles stubbornness and they became buddies. Next time I need a sitter, Rich will absolutely be my first option.”
