I am happy to adapt to whatever routine your dog is accustomed to, such as crating, furniture rules, walking or feeding routines, etc. I have a 4 year old, female Aussie/Lab mix who has yet to meet an enemy. She is a happy girl with lots of energy, but does not tend to overwhelm dogs who need their space.

About: Hello! I have been a dog owner/lover for years. I’ve owned small to large dogs. All were & are all special with their unique personalities. I won the Dallas Doberman Specialty which also served as the National Doberman Specialty (early 80’s). I’ve owned a Bichon, Red Heeler, Queensland Blue Heeler, a deaf Border Collie/Aussie mix, 2 Basset Hounds & now 2 Corgi’s (a Pembroke & a Cardigan). I’m retired and seeking independent work. Can’t think of any better & satisfying way than to work with dogs! I am retired and seeking satisfying enjoyable work. Drop in checks work best for me due to other obligations I currently have doing volunteer work. My two girls (my dogs) are fed twice a day. Let outdoors at variable times since I’m home the majority of the day. Fresh clean water is a must!!!! They keep themselves well entertained (and me) since Corgi’s are like Energizer Bunnies. Checking for bumps, lumps and any other odd things that might be noticed is essential. A healthy pup is a happy pup! A bit more about my background for extra reassurance about my ability with animals. I bred & showed South African Boer goats (males can get as big as 600 lbs). Showed horses and dogs. All required leading and creating a calm atmosphere wherever we were.

About: I grew up with a dog until I was 18 (Westie - Minnie) and then after college was adopted by a wonderful rescue sphynx (PyeWacket). Over then next 20 or so years I have had 4 sphyx cats (PyeWacket, Forty Two, Tesla and Cairo) and 1 Lyikoi (Cypher). Over the last year my house has had 4 puppies (from 8 weeks), 2 turtles, 2 Guinea pigs, 2 full size dogs 6 cats and multiple fish. I also often house sit for a very smart chihuahua named Mazie. Currently in between jobs so my schedule is fairly open. Like early and late walks due to the heat but open for anything. Open to late night feedings if needed. I treat your animals like they were my own. Love to play, hang out and what ever your little one needs. Need to make sure they know they are loved.

About: I've had and cared for all types and ages of dogs, cats, birds, etc. I know how important your animals are to you as mine are to me! I would want and expect my animals to be treated the way I treat yours as they all deserve to feel loved and cared for. Since I am an empty nester, I have lots of free time to give to others animals. I truly enjoy every minute of it and I hope you will let me care for yours. I check on them frequently. Give them there potty breaks and meals. I also like to spend quality time with them as they are needing attention while you are away.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Over the past year, I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience dog sitting and caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities, routines, and needs. From daily walks and playtime to meals, medications, cuddles, and overnight stays, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I love getting to know each dog individually and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether we’re out exploring, relaxing at home, or simply enjoying some extra attention, I’m happiest when I’m spending time with dogs. I currently work a full-time job, so I’m typically away from home from 7-3 Monday through Thursday and home on Fridays and weekends. I have a secure, fenced-in yard and an 11-year-old dog named Maya who is friendly and would be happy to keep your pets company during their stay.

About: Hi, my name is Chantel (37). I have been pet sitting exclusively through Trusted House Sitters since the beginning of 2025. I do not currently have pets of my own, I just watch other people's full time. I have an 11 year old son who is very tender hearted and loves animals (he sometimes cries if he sees a dead animal on the side of the road), and when he isn't with his dad he likes to tag along with me to take care of and play with pets. On a more personal level I love to read, go for walks in nature, listen to podcasts, Mediterranean cooking (all cooking really), farmers markets, road trips, pilates, gardening, and bringing beauty to my home life. I am not shy (I love learning about people and connecting in more intimate settings) but I am introverted and prefer 1:1 or smaller groups and I avoid big loud crowds. Non smoker, non drinker, non drug user. I have a very flexible schedule and plan to switch over from Trusted House Sitters to Rover more and use this platform as a main source of my work. My work is flexible and has always been easy to work pet care around that. I can care for most pets in your home. I am not boarding at this time. I can also stay overnight or not depending on what your needs and preferences are.

About: G’day! I’m originally from Sydney, Australia and have been living in the Canyon Lake area for almost 2 years. As a lifelong animal lover, especially when it comes to German Shepherds (you’ve probably noticed from my photos!), caring for dogs isn’t just a passion — it’s a way of life. Before returning to my career in healthcare, I spent 18 months as an Assistant Manager at a doggy daycare facility near Austin. This experience gave me valuable hands-on knowledge working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and strengthened my understanding of dog behaviour, care, and enrichment. I now work a hybrid full-time job in healthcare, so I’m available for pet sitting and walks around my work schedule and am required to be in the office two days a week.
