“Lilyanna was super sweet and communicative. She was accommodating to my schedule needs as well. She sent photos everyday and asked questions to make my dog's stay more comfortable.”

“Olivia makes me feel at ease. She gave me plenty of updates on my fur baby. I trust her whole heartedly to look after Stormi! She treats every dog as her own & integrates them so well into her pack 🥹”

“Paula instilled confidence in their ability to care for my 2 dogs, 1 is a 14 y.o., who needs eye drops 2x a day as well as arthritis tablets 2x a day, and they did a great job of keeping up with the meds for my aging pup. They kept my small dogs on harnesses when outside for potty time, so they couldn't slip out of their wrought iron fence, and safe from falling in their beautiful pool. (These extra measures would not be a problem with large dogs). Plenty of pictures were sent during our short stay, and the dogs came home happy. I felt very comfortable making minor adjustments to our pickup times, and their flexible schedule. Would highly recommend this couple and their 2 girls.”

“Our dog Charlie had the BEST weekend stay with Lacey and her fam while we were away getting married! Charlie was welcomed in as part of Lacey’s family and we couldn’t be more grateful that our girl was taken care of so well. We got so many updates throughout the weekend and Charlie got so much activity — 10/10 would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!”

“I cannot recommend Malu highly enough! She took incredible care of my dog, Brady, welcoming him into her home as if he were part of the family. Her son and husband played with him, and it was clear he was receiving plenty of love and attention. Malu provided regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was an unbelievable experience, especially after a previous bad encounter elsewhere. When Brady came home, I could just tell he was happy and well cared for. If you're looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive sitter, I highly recommend Malu. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“We are so happy we found Angie to look after Ozzy. She went above and beyond to make him feel at home, treating him with the same care she’d give her own pet. Ozzy especially loved their games of fetch! It’s such a relief knowing he’s in good hands. We’ll definitely be booking with her again”

“This was our first time using Rover, and we were a little hesitant at first. Michael and Julie suggested we meet at their home so we could see where Moxie would be staying and make sure she got along with their dog, Chompers, which immediately put our minds at ease. We brought Moxie over a few days early and she and Chompers got along perfectly right away. They have a great setup with a big backyard, and Michael took the time to explain how everything works since they’ve been doing this for years. Drop-off and pickup were easy, communication was great, and we received amazing photos and updates while we were out of town. Since this was our first time leaving Moxie with anyone, it meant a lot to feel so comfortable. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again!”

“Savannah and Gabriel were wonderful! They provided me with photo updates throughout Junie’s stay with them which was so, so nice and reassuring! I would trust them to care for any pet! Thank you so much, Savannah and Gabriel!!”

“Nancy and Ralph were wonderful sitters for Louie. He can be quite shy and nervous around new people, and my family and I could tell that they really went the extra mile to make him feel comfortable. They also made us feel comfortable by sending us daily updates and pictures! Their genuine love for dogs is palpable and I would not hesitate to recommend them.”

“Lisa was thoughtful and communicative. My dog sufferers from anxiety and she made her feel comfortable and warm up in her own time. She also was great at giving my dog her daily meds. We will definitely be using Lisa again!”

“We would absolutely recommend Marie and her family! This is the 2nd time our girl Izzy has stayed with them and we always feel so comfortable that she’s having a great time and getting the love she deserves”

About: I have been a dog foster for eight years in the Dallas area with Take Me Home Pet Rescue. I fostered at least a dozen dogs, but seven in particular needed special attention to make them ready to be great pets. I spent time on socialization, behavior, obedience and at least four of them got their basic Canine Good Citizen certification. Fostering gave me the opportunity to learn about various breeds, behaviors and work with dog behaviorists, dog day cares and behavior vets. I have owned four rescue dogs and taken them through the Canine Good Citizen program.:two of them through the third level. My tripawd dog, Rango, has done Rally at the novice level. And Lumi, my most recent rescue from PAWS, is also CGC Certified and ready to do some therapy work once she gets over her car-sickness. I have learned so much from my fostering experiences and working with various dogs. All the training is very positive and relationship-based. I am not trainer, but happy to work with your trainer. After moving to Dripping Springs, I have kept some friends and neighbors dogs and now adding some dog sitting into my substitute teaching schedule. Your dog will stay with Lumi (three year old Lab mix) and Rango (an eleven year old border collie and Aussie mix). We have a nice fenced, shaded and good sized back yard with birds and squirrels. We walk in our park and native woods behind our house almost every morning after breakfast. Our one-story home has mostly all linoleum plank vinyl flooring. I feed the dogs apart twice a day and there is no food aggression. They take treats together and they have become bonded. Our neighborhood is quiet and a nice mix of all ages with homes and quarter acre yards. I am an artist who works from home and I substitute teach art and early elementary at our ISD. My schedule will show booked substituting and dog sitting. I will stay home on days I know I'm keeping your dog. Your dog will get a walk, play with my pups and get some TLC. Because I teach, I also have security and background clearance with the school district. Your dog should be good with other dogs, house trained, spayed/neutered and a natural initial level of separation anxiety that will wane. Because of my fostering experience with dog transitions, I ask first-time pups and parents to come see us, our house and yard to make sure it's a good match for everyone. When a dog comes and goes with their owners, they are far more secure coming a second time and being left. I want a successful visit for everyone and look forward to repeat visits. I will treat your dog with care, love and safety. I look forward to meeting you and your pup. I substitute teach and on days I'm not teaching or know I'm boarding, I'll stay home. I may run a quick errand, especially if you have a multi-day stay, but I will be home maybe doing my art, maybe working in the back yard with the dogs in the back roaming around while I work. I have a fenced back yard that is shady and secure. I can crate your dog as needed. I have two dogs who are friendly and playful, but submissive and give their guests space. I will feed all dogs in separate areas. If I go run a quick errand, I will make sure the dogs go outside and I'll check in with you beforehand about crating or separating. I will walk each dog separately once during the day, usually in the morning. If your dog has a bed, feel free to bring it and if well potty trained, it can bunk in the bedroom with us so it is part of the pack. Some dogs want to sleep in the bed and really depends on how the dogs get along, especially the first night or two as it does take natural adjustment time.
“Gail took such great care of my dog Charlie while I was away! I loved getting all the updates and photos, it made me feel so relaxed knowing he was happy and well cared for. And her backyard is a total dog paradise, he was living his best life! Would 100% book with her again.”

“We couldn’t have asked for better care for our dog! Maura & Shawn went above and beyond. It was so comforting to receive the pictures and updates from them that showed our dog was in loving hands while we were away. We could tell they were treating her like their own. They took her on exciting trail walks, gave her plenty of snuggles, and even prepared fun treat puzzles to keep her entertained. We highly recommend Maura & Shawn to anyone looking for loving pet sitters—our pup can’t wait to stay with them again!”

“We love-love-love working with Robyn and Desmond for boarding our Zadie. They are so easy to work with, clearly love the dogs in their care, and send updates that show how much fun Zadie is having at their house. Highly recommend!”

“Great sitter! I will definately use her again. Very flexible, quick to respond, house was clean and she sent lots of pictures. Thanks Emma and family for loving on my Sassy Pants.”
“super sweet people. they made me feel super safe about leaving my pup with them and she sent me photo updates every day. and their pup fionn is such a sweet dog”

“Denise was great! She was very responsive to my last minute request to keep my two small dogs over night. She was very accommodating and let us come do a meet and greet in advance. Drop off and pick up were easy. We got lots of pictures of them playing with her other guests and also relaxing. They were happy and calm upon pick-up -- always a sign they had a great visit with someone. Thanks!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dripping Springs
Lacey is such an attentive and caring sitter! She provided frequent updates and photos throughout our dog's stay, and went above and beyond during a thunderstorm to try to comfort our very anxious pup. He clearly felt right at home with her and her dogs, and we hope he is able to stay with them again soon!

Emma and her family took wonderful care of our dog, Charlie! They treated Charlie like one of their own and gave her so much love and attention while we were away. We received lots of updates and photos. This gave us peace of mind that Charlie was happy, comfortable and well cared for. We came home to a happy healthy pup! We would absolutely trust Emma and her family with Charlie again!
