“This was our first time using Rover, and we were a little hesitant at first. Michael and Julie suggested we meet at their home so we could see where Moxie would be staying and make sure she got along with their dog, Chompers, which immediately put our minds at ease. We brought Moxie over a few days early and she and Chompers got along perfectly right away. They have a great setup with a big backyard, and Michael took the time to explain how everything works since they’ve been doing this for years. Drop-off and pickup were easy, communication was great, and we received amazing photos and updates while we were out of town. Since this was our first time leaving Moxie with anyone, it meant a lot to feel so comfortable. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again!”

“Stephanie thank you so much for taking care of my princess Georgie! Most of all for treating her like a people’s cause you and I know she doesn’t believe she is a dog! She loved her time there and I loved the fact that you sent updates and photos! We will definitely request more boarding with you!”

“Malu is an amazing sitter. My dogs love Malu, and they always get lots of exercise and interaction in her yard. They always leave her house happy and stimulated.”

“We are so happy to have found Lucia! Highly recommend! Lucia and her family were so attentive and loving to Jake. She has a lovely home with a huge fenced yard. Jake has found his home away from home!!”

“We couldn’t have been happier with Stephanie and her family. We got photos every day of Pippa playing with Stephanie’s sweet dogs and enjoying lots of love and attention. It seemed like Pippa was another member of Stephanie’s family! Five-star accommodations for sure!”

“Katy was just great! She responded so quickly every time I texted her about anything. She sent pictures of him and seemed to genuinely care about him. We will definitely let Charlie stay with her again!”

“Aimee was a great sitter. I felt comfortable leaving my little guy with her. She was communicative and on time. She sent several pictures and videos to let me know Brody was doing well. Brody came back happy and well taken care of.”

“Thank you, Robyn & Desmond, for taking great care of our pups. We never worry about them while we have to be away. We appreciate you guys being a second home for them.”

“Thanks to Ana, we were able to enjoy our stay in Corpus. She took very good care of our dog Toby and he was happy playing around other dogs. Ana is caring and patient, we'll look for her next time we come back to the beach!”

“Taryn was wonderful for our sensitive and anxious boy, Charlie! Charlie is a small yorkie mix, missing most of his teeth, and needing special care with feeding and infrequent potty accidents caused by his anxiety. Taryn was a perfect match for taking care of him for a week while we were away. She provided excellent care and was very willing to follow our instructions for what Charlie needed. We will definitely be using Taryn again when we need to go away for a trip.”

“Nancy and Ralph are amazing. Archie Lee will be staying again two times this summer. Archie settled in and enjoyed herself. She felt right at home. I enjoyed seeing the pictures of Archie playing and hanging out. It is the best feeling when you know that your fur baby is in great hands.”

“Nikki did a fantastic job taking care of our dog. Would HIGHLY recommend her. It was our first time leaving our 7mo old puppy so we weren’t sure how he would do. Nikki and her dogs took great care of him and he had a blast. Kept us updated with frequent photos and videos as well.”

“Maura and Shawn did a great job taking care of our pup, Luna! Luna tends to struggle with new people and experiences and gets very anxious. They were so kind, patient and attentive with her, and she was happy as can be following her visit!”

“Chris is awesome! He is so responsive and professional. We received photos every evening and our pets received excellent care. They came home happy and exhausted!”

Can’t say enough good things about the experience with Mercedes! She and her daughter are so kind, communicative, and patient. This was our first time leaving our puppy and I could tell that he had the best time with them. They sent us daily photo updates which were so fun to have while we were away. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Rover and we will definitely be booking again!!

Leilani was so caring and sweet to my dog and she kept in excellent touch with me during his stay, sending me lots of cute photos and updates. She was even thoughtful enough to ask me about certain command language we use with him at home so she could remain consistent with the way we train him. Jasper is young and high energy and when I picked him up this morning after a long stay at Leilani’s, I could tell he had had a fantastic time! He was one, very happy boy. I’m so thankful to have found a wonderful person like Leilani to watch him. And I know he will be so excited to stay with her again next time 💚

Lucia is AMAZING!!!! I cannot say enough good things. She watched our pups while we left town for a week. She sent daily photos/updates and took such great care of them. They had the best time. She is great with dogs and usually has a few staying with her so they can play. She is so sweet and I cannot say enough good things about her. Definitely trust her with your pup, she’s our go-to!🩷

Alexandra is amazing and incredibly professional. She and her family treated our dog, April, like one of their own, playing, walking, and spending quality time with her every day in their fenced backyard and around the neighborhood alongside their own dog. The environment was wonderful! We loved receiving daily updates and beautiful photos. Highly recommend!

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
