“Ollie had a great experience with Julie and Michael. Communication was great and they truly showed care and comfort for my pup. He can’t wait to return. Thank you!”

“I found Leilani to be the best Rover dog sitter. She loved on my Yorkie like her own. Communication was excellent and I never worried about leaving our dog with someone new. You can tell she loves what she does!! Sent lots of pictures. I will certainly use Leilani again when I need her. Thankfully to have found someone I trust and lives near us.”

“I left Milo with Katy and her family for 10 days and he loved it! Katy truly does treat the dogs she cares for like her own. Milo came back super happy, well adjusted, absolutely no separation anxiety. Katy also sent pics throughout our trip, she kept in close contact which made my trip so much more peaceful and comfortable knowing Milo was doing great. He seem to really enjoy being around everyone in the family. He had a great time. I will be leaving Milo again for our next trips the following months.”

“Our 3 month old pup was in great hands over Thanksgiving week, plus a last minute add on night after travel delays. We received great pictures and communication. Cody came home happy and healthy. We will for sure book again. Thank you!!”

“Malu and her family took exceptional care of our pup for two weeks. He wasn't the easiest guest this time around, as he developed a hotspot a few days prior to his stay. They were incredibly attentive, making sure he was comfortable, monitoring the condition closely, and taking great care to help it heal without worsening. Malu also sent regular updates and pictures, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that our dog was being treated like part of the family. I would highly recommend Malu to anyone looking for a loving, home-away-from-home environment for their dog. We are so grateful for the wonderful care she provided.”

“Our two puppies had a wonderful day with Erica! She kept us updated with pictures and videos and spent all day taking care of them and playing and cuddling and giving them all of her attention and love. Erica is super sweet and such an animal lover. We plan on having her be a go to dog sitter for our fur babies.”

“Mercedes was great. Watched my dog for two nights and while he was a little nervous (because he’s always nervous…) when I left she had him calmed and settled shortly afterwards. Will definitely use again!”

“Grant, Ashley, and Finn are fantastic hosts. Blanca and Gigi were calm for their first meeting, and happy when we picked them up after their stay. Grant was super communicative, flexible, and helpful. We will definitely use them again when our little delinquents need a place to stay.”

“Stephanie thank you so much for taking care of my princess Georgie! Most of all for treating her like a people’s cause you and I know she doesn’t believe she is a dog! She loved her time there and I loved the fact that you sent updates and photos! We will definitely request more boarding with you!”

“My dog Bear had such a great time and seemed so happy and well cared for. Couldn’t be more happier. Stephanie and her family are so friendly , flexible and caring😍 She is really good with keeping us updated with pics and end of the report.”

“My dog had a wonderful time with Nikki, her family, and their two black labs. Every day Nikki would send me multiple pictures of him having a wonderful time. He even seemed a little sad when I picked him up at the end of my trip. LOL.”

“Lily is a very responsible and responsible person to take a care of your dogs. We had a very pleasant first experience with Rover with her and look forward to booking more stays with her. She is nearby our home and convenient for drop off and pickups. Our pups seem happy and content with their time there.”

“Excellent care, attentive and responsive with an incredible space for puppies!! Ours was a bit of work but Patrick was great with communication and care for our six month old pup! Not to mention his home is better than any B&B you'll find in Austin! I think our doggie had a better vacation than we did which is just the way you want it!! Thank you Patrick and family!!!”

“Taryn’s awesome! She’s friendly, responsive, and sends pictures! Nice, clean home with lots of family friends petting and loving on my pup! He loved his visit. Will rebook next time for sure.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - The Hills
Can’t say enough good things about the experience with Mercedes! She and her daughter are so kind, communicative, and patient. This was our first time leaving our puppy and I could tell that he had the best time with them. They sent us daily photo updates which were so fun to have while we were away. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Rover and we will definitely be booking again!!

Lucia is AMAZING!!!! I cannot say enough good things. She watched our pups while we left town for a week. She sent daily photos/updates and took such great care of them. They had the best time. She is great with dogs and usually has a few staying with her so they can play. She is so sweet and I cannot say enough good things about her. Definitely trust her with your pup, she’s our go-to!🩷

Alexandra is amazing and incredibly professional. She and her family treated our dog, April, like one of their own, playing, walking, and spending quality time with her every day in their fenced backyard and around the neighborhood alongside their own dog. The environment was wonderful! We loved receiving daily updates and beautiful photos. Highly recommend!

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
