“Michael did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs for 11 days. They came back happy and healthy and tired too. We so appreciate them. Our dogs are pretty energetic at 1 and 3 years old.”

“I found Leilani to be the best Rover dog sitter. She loved on my Yorkie like her own. Communication was excellent and I never worried about leaving our dog with someone new. You can tell she loves what she does!! Sent lots of pictures. I will certainly use Leilani again when I need her. Thankfully to have found someone I trust and lives near us.”

“Our pup had a great stay with Lucia. She was so nice to watch our girl last minute. We received several pictures of our pup throughout the stay and it looked like she was having a great time. We would definitely have Lucia watch her again!”

“Katy lives in close proximity and has 2 cute pups of her own, which made selecting her for our first Rover experience convenient and comforting. Upon meeting her it was apparent she’s a pup-lover, and we especially like the fact she favors smaller pups. Katy surprised and delighted us with occasional updates during the stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience…for sure we will return.”

“Branden and his family took excellent care of my dogs! They sent regular updates and pictures and it really helped reassure me that my dogs were in good hands during my vacation!! I would highly recommend them to anyone.”

“Malu and her family took exceptional care of our pup for two weeks. He wasn't the easiest guest this time around, as he developed a hotspot a few days prior to his stay. They were incredibly attentive, making sure he was comfortable, monitoring the condition closely, and taking great care to help it heal without worsening. Malu also sent regular updates and pictures, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that our dog was being treated like part of the family. I would highly recommend Malu to anyone looking for a loving, home-away-from-home environment for their dog. We are so grateful for the wonderful care she provided.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Erica took such thoughtful, attentive care of my two senior dogs, both of whom need daily medication and a little extra TLC. She was incredibly patient and gentle, making sure they got their meds on time and giving them all the cuddles they needed to feel at home. Her updates and photos gave me total peace of mind, and it was clear they were comfortable, relaxed, and well loved in her care. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can fully trust, especially for my older pups. Highly recommend and will definitely book with her again!”

“Grant, Ashley, and Finn are fantastic hosts. Blanca and Gigi were calm for their first meeting, and happy when we picked them up after their stay. Grant was super communicative, flexible, and helpful. We will definitely use them again when our little delinquents need a place to stay.”

“I’ve been using Rover for two years, and Stephanie and her family are truly first class in every way. They didn’t just watch my dogs—they gave them a real vacation. Stephanie even took the time to help educate me and worked with my dogs on better walking behavior, which I deeply appreciated. If you’re looking for the best Rover has to offer, look no further. A huge thank you to Stephanie and her family for taking such wonderful care of my furry kiddos during the Christmas holidays!”

“Received daily pics and updates and knew our boys were in good hands. They were happy and excited leaving and coming back, which is always what we like to see. Big thank you to Brandon and his boys!”

“My dog had a wonderful time with Nikki, her family, and their two black labs. Every day Nikki would send me multiple pictures of him having a wonderful time. He even seemed a little sad when I picked him up at the end of my trip. LOL.”

“Stephanie and her family took fabulous care of Tuxedo! Their house is setup amazing for an active dog like Tux. Huge background. Can come in and out 24/7. I couldn’t imagine a more ideal environment for Tux! Stephanie is also great about sending picture updates in the morning and evening. It made me feel very comfortable while I was away for 6 nights!! Would highly recommend!!!”

“Lily took EXCELLENT care of our dog Dez! She an amazing dog sitter and kept us updated during his stay. We will for sure be reaching back out to Lily for future stays! Thanks Lily!”

“Excellent care, attentive and responsive with an incredible space for puppies!! Ours was a bit of work but Patrick was great with communication and care for our six month old pup! Not to mention his home is better than any B&B you'll find in Austin! I think our doggie had a better vacation than we did which is just the way you want it!! Thank you Patrick and family!!!”

“Taryn was wonderful for our sensitive and anxious boy, Charlie! Charlie is a small yorkie mix, missing most of his teeth, and needing special care with feeding and infrequent potty accidents caused by his anxiety. Taryn was a perfect match for taking care of him for a week while we were away. She provided excellent care and was very willing to follow our instructions for what Charlie needed. We will definitely be using Taryn again when we need to go away for a trip.”

“Bethany was great. She sent me frequent pictures of my dog. She looked very comfortable. And I feel very comfortable with her as a sitter and I will use her again.”

“Nicholas dropped in our cat for two weeks while we are away and it was great to come home to a happy cat. He was very communicative as always and was willing to help us out with a few things that came up while we were gone for an extended period. Looking forward to booking again in the future!”

“Caleb did a good job of taking care of CoCo last minute and made sure he had food and water . However, we agreed on arrival between 2pm and 4pm, and he did not arrive until after 5pm, which caused me to worry about CoCo. He also brought someone else into the home without giving me a heads up, which made me uncomfortable.”

“Kaia was wonderful with my cats while I was away. She kept me updated with sweet messages and photos, and it was clear my cats felt comfortable and cared for. I’m so happy to have found someone I can fully trust. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Kaia again next time! Highly recommend 😸 Thank you so much, Kaia!”

“Tricia was so great for us and took great care of our kitties! We have a bit of a unique situation at the moment with very specific instructions and Tricia was so accommodating and caring. Will absolutely have her check in on our cats again if she is able to. Thanks again, Tricia!”

“Nicole took great care of our cat. We had her drop in on him when we were on vacation. She’s very easy to communicate with and responsive to messages. Would definitely hire her again.”

“Lucia was amazing! We’ve never used Rover for our cats but so glad we did. Lucia was responsive, loving and caring the whole way through. She sent pictures on each visit. We have one cat that’s pretty shy with new people but she warmed up to Lucia pretty quick which says a lot.”

About: I’ve had pets since I was a little girl and have passed the love I have for them down to my dog loving kiddos too! I currently don’t have any pets, so my time at home with my daughter is pretty free. We volunteer at APA, but would love a dog at home too! We make sure to have fun with them and give them lots of love. We also always make sure that they are on the best behavior and don’t miss out on being polite around furniture and such. Movement is a big factor that we love to encourage dogs to do even if it is a little walk!
About: Whether your furry friend is a standoffish cat, a hyper dog, or an opera-singing bird, I am the capable caretaker you can trust to suit their needs and make them feel safe + loved! My schedule as a pet sitter is open to any client! On a trip to see family? Only gone for an hour or two? No problem! I can come over day or night. Whatever your animal needs, I can provide! I do not currently board at my own home, but am available to sit/walk your pet in your area.

“Susan did a great job of taking care of our two cats while we were away for the week. Having never met her before, the cats warmed up to her quickly and she was good with communication with us and left everything in great shape when we got back. We would definitely recommend Susan and will choose her to pet sit again.”

“Erica was so great with Finn! She took extra care and effort to safely teach him and introduce him to kitties. He had never met one before so all new to him. She took a bunch of pictures of his interaction with the other pups. I am so excited to have found someone to take care of Finn when we are away, or even if he just needs a day away from Mom🙂. Erica’s place is great with a great yard patio and lots of cool floors to cool down.”

“Our little Monty had a great day with Tricia. We recently moved to Austin and Monty has been through much upheaval over the last year or so. He hasn't met many new people or other dogs yet and we were a little apprehensive leaving him in a new environment. Well, when we picked him up at the end of the day, he was totally calm and his tail was wagging like crazy. Monty was one happy little guy and not at all stressed out. Tricia kept him close and made him feel very comfortable and secure. She's the perfect sitter!”

“Mercedes and her daughter were very welcoming and friendly with Tinker. We had quite a hassle free experience in communicating with them during drop off and pick up. We are definitely looking forward to drop Tinker with them again in future.”

About: Hi, I’m Alena — a mom of four wonderful children, a travel enthusiast, and a lifelong animal lover. I grew up surrounded by pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs, and spent much of my childhood wishing I could be Dr. Dolittle. For more than a decade, I shared my home with three cats, and over the years I’ve gained extensive experience caring for animals of all ages and temperaments. I previously fostered dogs through Austin Pets Alive and have spent many vacations caring for pets through TrustedHousesitters. I’m comfortable administering prescription medications to both cats and dogs, as well as handling basic grooming needs. Today, I share my home with two cats and two dogs. For the comfort and safety of all pets, my dogs live separately from any boarding guests. Boarding dogs stay on the upper floor and do not interact with my pets. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets, get to know their unique personalities, and help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have a flexible work schedule, so I’m available to board your pet any day of the week. I would love to take your dogs for a walk, too! For boarding, I provide a safe space and a pet bed in my bedroom, separately from my own pets. Dogs have free reign in the fenced backyard and enjoy walks around the neighborhood twice a day, ranging from 10 min to 2 hours, depending on their needs.
“Lilly was amazing and extremely accommodating when I had a hard day. She was flexible and took great care of Sammy. He loved staying with her and was so excited to see her. I’ll always be grateful to Lily!”

“Our pup Alfie recently spent the day with Stephanie and we were very pleased with his stay. Our boy hasn't met a lot of people yet so he was a little anxious when we dropped him off. Stephanie kept us updated throughout the day and our boy finally settled in after an hour. We really appreciated her updates and we could tell she was very knowledgeable about the behavior of dogs. We will be using Stephanie for all of our doggy boarding needs. Thank you!”

About: IttyBittyPups under 15lbs will have fun and be safe with me! I have only two spots for IttyBittyPups at a time, so you can feel safe knowing your babies are given plenty of one-on-one attention. No young children in the house, no cats, no larger dogs; just my two tiny Yorkies for your baby to play with! Doggie door stays open all day (weather permitting) and they have a full, securely fenced back yard to play in! I monitor them closely to make sure don’t get overheated, which small dogs are more apt to do. I’m glad to help continue any potty training that you are currently doing for your IttyBittyPup…Come play! I am happy to schedule a one-hour free playdate here for your reassurance; you can stay and watch the pups play while we have coffee ☕️🙂 I am home all day, so your IttyBittyPup will never, ever be left alone (except in case of some sort of emergency, and in that case, I have emergency backup people in-house, secure crates, and I will contact you immediately!) In case of any emergency requiring evacuation, I will protect your baby like my own family! I am all about dogs, so they will get plenty of playtime and cuddles from me and my two tiny Yorkies 💕💕 They will also be allowed on the furniture, which is fully protected with waterproof / washable covers. IttyBittyPups arriving before 8am will get a group leash morning walk. IttyBittyPups staying overnight will get a second group leash walk around 7pm or later, to avoid the heat. I have a doggie door that stays open all day, weather permitting, and a securely fenced in back yard with netting above to protect IttyBittyPups from birds of prey! My two tiny Yorkies LOVE to run and play and wrestle raucously, but gently, with other small dogs. The largest total number of IttyBittyPups here at any given time will be four dogs. So you can be sure your little dog gets the cuddles and attention they deserve!

About: Hi, I'm Kimberly! My husband and I recently relocated to Bee Cave from Philadelphia, and I'm excited to meet some new four-legged friends in the area. Dogs have been an important part of my life for most of my adult life. I currently have two of my own, London, a Boston Terrier, and Soco, an American Eskimo. Before London, we had a Shepherd mix who was rescued from the streets of the Cayman Islands and was part of our family for 13 wonderful years. I have also spent time caring for and interacting with my husband's Doberman, so I'm comfortable around dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. London has a special story of her own. We brought her home in May 2025 after she spent her life on a farm as a breeder. Walks, toys, and being a family dog were all completely new to her. Helping her learn to enjoy those everyday experiences taught me how important patience, consistency, and understanding each dog's individual personality can be. Over the years, I have also regularly helped friends and neighbors with their dogs, including walking neighborhood dogs and pet sitting while owners were away. While these started as favors for people I knew, they gave me valuable experience caring for dogs other than my own and understanding the importance of following each owner's routine and instructions. Through Rover, I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting. I have full availability and can provide daytime walks and visits as well as overnight care. Walks can include exercise, exploring the neighborhood, plenty of time for sniffing, and enjoying the outdoors at your dog's own pace. Drop-in visits can include potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and companionship. For overnight stays, my goal is to keep your dog comfortable and maintain their normal routine while you're away. I understand that every dog is different. Some are ready to run and play the moment you arrive, while others need a little time to warm up. My experience with London has taught me to be patient, attentive, and responsive to what each dog needs. Communication is very important to me. As a dog owner, I know how reassuring it is to receive photos and updates when you're away from your pets. I will provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing how your dog is doing while they're in my care. Most importantly, I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is to treat every dog like one of my own and provide dependable, loving care that gives you peace of mind while you're away. My schedule is open to accommodate your needs on a daily basis. I know how life happens so I am flexible to meet the needs of my clients. I live in a very dog friendly community that is fenced in entirely. There is a dog park on site as well we well as the Bee Cave dog park within a short walk.
About: “Hi! I’m a reliable and caring pet lover who enjoys spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I offer walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m attentive, responsible, and happy to send photo and message updates so you know your pet is safe and happy. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, or overnight care, I’d love to help!” “I’m retired and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to be highly available for pet care throughout the day. I can provide walks, drop-in visits, and attentive companionship, and I enjoy giving pets plenty of time, attention, and exercise.” “I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is important, and I take that responsibility very seriously every time without exception.”
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages and care needs. I’ve helped family, friends, neighbors and private clients with walks, drop-ins, sitting and bathing. From caring for litters of 11 puppies to managing up to 8 dogs at a time in the home, I am well equipped to help you care for your pups. My experience working in a veterinary setting has set me up to help manage medication administration and postoperative care. I care for pets full time. I have openings for walks and drop-ins early mornings, late afternoons and evenings Monday-Saturday. My availability for sitting is pretty open at the moment. I care for your pets according to your pet’s regular schedule and individual needs. I’m very patient and like to go at your pet’s pace. I’m always honored when I have the opportunity to help folks care for their beloved animals and treat both their home environment and their care needs the same way I do with my own - with kindness, consideration, integrity and respect.
About: Ive had both dogs and cats my whole life big and small. Currently dog mom to a weiner pit mix and a girl mom to a 4 yr old! I love animals and know that they need our love and care just as much as we need them!! Im currently a part time esthetician so i have plenty of daily time between clients! My office is centrally located and can do multiple drop ins per day if needed between 9am and 10pm! I know how i like and treat my own home when using rover for my pets so trust that all things will be left spick and span and your animals are in great care
About: I grew up with several dogs and cats in the family home. I have raised and trained a Doberman, so I know what it takes to teach them obedience and the importance of consistency. I love animals so much, they bring me so much joy. Fun fact: when I was a little girl I wanted to be a veterinarian. I feel that I have a special connection with animals; they are usually naturally drawn to me. I didn’t pursue a career as a veterinarian because I had other interests. I currently don’t have any animals because I enjoy the flexibility. I would love to take care of your animals and treat them with extra special care. I am currently working part time and would have the time to care for your pet(s) after work or on my days off. I currently work a 2-3 days a week and am available by the afternoons on the days I am working. I typically pet sit in the owners home. I find that is more comfortable for them. I am not currently able to have pets where I live.

“Tricia was great, she went above and beyond to make sure that our two dogs had a great walk, and that she was walking them the way that we like to train them. 5 stars!”

About: I didn’t set out to become a dog sitter; it just happened naturally. A friend needed help with their dog, then a neighbor, then a coworker. Ten years later, I’m still doing it, and still loving every minute of it. What I’ve learned from caring for dozens of dogs over the years is that every single one is different. Some need a lot of stimulation and adventure. Some need calm reassurance and a gentle hand. I’ve worked with big dogs and tiny ones, young puppies and senior pups, social butterflies and dogs who take a while to warm up. The ones who take a while to warm up are honestly my favorites. I treat every home I enter and every dog I care for with the same respect and attention I’d want for my own. You’ll always know how your dog is doing. I send photos and updates throughout every visit because I know that’s what matters most when you’re away. My sweet spot is Wednesday evenings through the weekend, that’s when I’m most available and love filling my schedule with new pups! I’m flexible and quick to respond, so if you’re not sure whether I’m free, just message me. Chances are, I can make it work! Good news, I come to you! All of my services take place in your home, which means your pup never has to leave their safe space. I bring the love, you provide the couch. During house sits, your dog runs the show; furniture, bed, all of it is fair game. I’m there to make sure they feel like nothing has changed, just with a new best friend temporarily in charge. I handle medication, special routines, anxious personalities, and everything in between without batting an eye. Your home gets treated like my own tidy, respected, and exactly how you left it. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I know where the nearest 24-hour vets in Austin are and will always prioritize your dog’s safety. The bottom line? Your dog will be so comfortable they might not even miss you. Almost.
About: I have had dogs all my life but currently don’t have any of my own. This allows me to have more flexibility to spend time with your dogs. I work out of my home and have a flexible schedule, 7 days/week. I can keep your pet at my house or I can come and go, or stay at your pet’s home. I have a fenced backyard and I can also crate your dog. I am flexible to do what is the most comfortable for your dog.

“Grant, Ashley, and Finn are fantastic hosts. Blanca and Gigi were calm for their first meeting, and happy when we picked them up after their stay. Grant was super communicative, flexible, and helpful. We will definitely use them again when our little delinquents need a place to stay.”

“Bethany was great. She sent me frequent pictures of my dog. She looked very comfortable. And I feel very comfortable with her as a sitter and I will use her again.”

“Chuck is a superstar. We had a challenging stressful trip, but thinking about our pet Percy is one thing we’ve never had to worry about. He’s so kind and funny and he gave a ton of comfort. He took care of our pup like his own and we couldn’t ask for a better person. You rock Chuck.”

“Maura and Shawn always take the best care of our dog Luke. Booking with them is seamless and we’re always at ease knowing he’s in good hands while we’re away. We’ll continue to use Maura and Shawn for as long as they’ll have him!”
