A Day in Our Care When pets stay in our home, their comfort, safety and routine are my top priorities. Morning Our day begins with a gentle transition into the morning - potty break in our fully fenced in yard, fresh water, and breakfast served according to your pet's normal schedule. Morning walks are unhurried and tailored to your dog's pace and needs. After their walk, pets enjoy playtime or relaxed companionship settling in for a short mid-morning nap. Midday Midday includes supervised outdoor time in our fenced yard, and intentional play sessions suited to your dog's energy level. I stay attentive and fully present. Afternoons & Evenings Afternoons may include another walk, light structured playtime, or peaceful companionship depending on your pet's needs. I balance activity with downtime to prevent overstimulation. Dinner is served according to your instructions. Evenings in our home are peaceful and predictable, helping pets feel settled and secure. Nighttime Pets sleep in a safe and comfortable space aligned with what they are used to at home. My goal is for them to feel relaxed, safe and truly at ease.

Choosing a dog sitter is about more than availability - it is about trust. As a veteran and recently retired elementary school teacher, and someone with over 8 years of hands-on pet sitting experience; my life has been rooted in responsibility, patience and attentive care. Both careers have shaped me to be punctual, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to the well being of those in my care. My background in education allows me to be especially patient and attentive to behavior cues. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior or needs a little reassurance, I provide steady, kind and consistent care. Additionally, my husband is a medical provider, who works from home, so administering medications or supporting pets with medical needs is something we are comfortable and confident handling. If your dog requires extra attention or specialized care, you can feel at ease that extra support is readily available. My goal is simple: for you to leave and feel completely confident - and return to a happy, well cared for dog.

I found Leilani to be the best Rover dog sitter. She loved on my Yorkie like her own. Communication was excellent and I never worried about leaving our dog with someone new. You can tell she loves what she does!! Sent lots of pictures. I will certainly use Leilani again when I need her. Thankfully to have found someone I trust and lives near us.
Leilani is absolutely amazing, we have a 12 y.o Pomeranian and he was loved and so well looked after. We have had bad experiences in the past with our old man, so we are extremely picky. I cant say enough good things about Leilani, she is our now go to sitter, so much so our little man didnt even look back when we dropped him off he was so happy to spend time with Leilani were his is treated as royalty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
