“This was our first time using Rover, and we were a little hesitant at first. Michael and Julie suggested we meet at their home so we could see where Moxie would be staying and make sure she got along with their dog, Chompers, which immediately put our minds at ease. We brought Moxie over a few days early and she and Chompers got along perfectly right away. They have a great setup with a big backyard, and Michael took the time to explain how everything works since they’ve been doing this for years. Drop-off and pickup were easy, communication was great, and we received amazing photos and updates while we were out of town. Since this was our first time leaving Moxie with anyone, it meant a lot to feel so comfortable. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again!”

“Lucia was an absolutely amazing host for our two young pups. They were very clearly well taken care of and treated as her own. I almost thought they might now want to come back with me! I can’t thank Lucia enough for not only her treatment of our dogs but the consistent updates that helped keep my wife’s mind at ease while we were away. I can’t say enough good things about Lucia. You do not need to look any further, this is the person you want to book with!”

“Leilani is absolutely amazing, we have a 12 y.o Pomeranian and he was loved and so well looked after. We have had bad experiences in the past with our old man, so we are extremely picky. I cant say enough good things about Leilani, she is our now go to sitter, so much so our little man didnt even look back when we dropped him off he was so happy to spend time with Leilani were his is treated as royalty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

“Patrick was really patient with (Sarge) my bloodhound and kept me updated with photos and texts. Sarge wasn’t feeling well and Patrick took good care of him! Thank you again for keeping Sarge company while I was gone!”

“Great communication. She took care of our dogs like they were her own. She definitely has a gift for caretaking. This was my 2nd time using her services and I will book again”

“Yisel and Victor have become our go to dog sitters. They have a lot of patience for our high energy doodle. Victor regularly updates us with pictures and our dog always has a blast! Vic and Yisel are great sittters and I would recommend them for anyone who is looking for someone to care of their pup!”

“My dog Bear had such a great time and seemed so happy and well cared for. Couldn’t be more happier. Stephanie and her family are so friendly , flexible and caring😍 She is really good with keeping us updated with pics and end of the report.”

“We always count on Stephanie and her family to look after Milo when we travel. She goes above and beyond in caring for him, and we can enjoy our trips knowing that he is in good hands. He seems to love his stay at Camp Truman, and he gets a nice vacation too!”

“Malu and family are excellent caretakers. They made sure Odis was happy and active during his stay with walks and even a run! The house, yard and neighborhood set up are a dog’s (and dog owner’s) dream. Their dog Shadow makes for a great companion and Malu’s communication is spot on. You will not regret hiring Malu to care for your pet.”
“Our 2 dogs had a great stay with Michael, a real home from home for them. Great communication and photos throughout their stay and they've come home happy and healthy. We will definitely be contacting Michael next time we head out of town!”

“Sherron is incredibly responsive and communicative. She takes such good care of our pup that he can’t wait for us to go on another vacation! Thank you so much for the loving care you show to Wilson 🐾”

“So happy I found Holly! We scheduled a meet and greet and Harold instantly got along. When it was time to drop him off, he walked right in, barely saying goodbye to me 🤣. Holly kept in touch, sending pics of Harold’s adventures and I could tell he was in great hands. 10/10 will definitely be in touch for future trips”

“Grant, Ashley, and Finn are fantastic hosts. Blanca and Gigi were calm for their first meeting, and happy when we picked them up after their stay. Grant was super communicative, flexible, and helpful. We will definitely use them again when our little delinquents need a place to stay.”

“Holly & Brady are responsive, great with photo updates, and most importantly - treat our dog with the love and care we’d hope for when we’re away! Such peace of mind knowing he’s in great hands :)”

“Lisa is reliable, caring and informative person . I received updates and awesome pictures which gave me peace of mind while we were away. I truly appreciate the love and attention to my sweet Coco. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a honesty pet sitter.”

“Wow 🤩 what an amazing experience with Sophia and her family as she watched our sweet dog this past weekend. Sophia took such great care of our pet, was kind and courteous, took pictures for us and gave me lots of updates. Her kids did amazing with our little girl and we could not be more pleased with the situation. Highly recommend!!”

“Chuck is the absolute best! Our family is moving and we needed someone to take care of our dog while we are in limbo. Not only did Chuck look after her, he sent pictures, taught her new tricks, and was always available whenever we had a question. Chuck is an absolute no brainer if you are looking for a pet sitter.”

“Katy lives in close proximity and has 2 cute pups of her own, which made selecting her for our first Rover experience convenient and comforting. Upon meeting her it was apparent she’s a pup-lover, and we especially like the fact she favors smaller pups. Katy surprised and delighted us with occasional updates during the stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience…for sure we will return.”

I found Leilani to be the best Rover dog sitter. She loved on my Yorkie like her own. Communication was excellent and I never worried about leaving our dog with someone new. You can tell she loves what she does!! Sent lots of pictures. I will certainly use Leilani again when I need her. Thankfully to have found someone I trust and lives near us.

Lucia is AMAZING!!!! I cannot say enough good things. She watched our pups while we left town for a week. She sent daily photos/updates and took such great care of them. They had the best time. She is great with dogs and usually has a few staying with her so they can play. She is so sweet and I cannot say enough good things about her. Definitely trust her with your pup, she’s our go-to!🩷

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
