“Cheryal went above and beyond while taking care of my 3 cats while I was out of town! She sent daily updates and pictures of my kitties and they seemed quite happy and well taken care of when I returned home! She even brought my Amazon packages indoors without me asking her to! I will definitely be booking her pet care services again!”

“Courtney took my request last minute when our prior dog sitting plan fell through. She was extremely responsive and made me feel comfortable that my two dogs would be well taken care of. I loved getting the updates and photos from each visit and being able to communicate between visits. My dogs were clearly comfortable with her, and were able to play, cuddle, and be themselves while I was gone. It gave me great peace of mind of my travels to know they were so well cared for.”

“Stacy is absolutely amazing! I couldn’t have asked for better care for my fur babies! She went above and beyond making sure they were happy. I left items that could make it easier for her to take care of, but she left those for me for next time and handled everything with quite the consideration. Additionally, she just has a light about her! Thank you Stacey”

“Ashley is fantastic. She took very good care of my senior dog. You can tell she loves being around pets and goes all out to make sure they are loved and taken care of. 100% would recommend!”

About: I've had 5 dogs in my lifetime. I've always had pets in the house growing up. I have fed them, bathed them, taken them on walks, and given them lots of love! I have lots of experience with dogs! I'm currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time to spend time with your pets, pretty much any time of the week. Weekends are included! I have only 1 dog currently. She has her own kennel to sleep in, with plenty of bedding to make things comfortable. She is free to run outside, because we have a fenced in backyard that she loves to run around in. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for your pup(s)! I'm available on weekends, and on weekdays as well, usually after 2 pm. I have a fenced yard to keep my dog safe, and she has a kennel as well. I will follow all your instructions regarding your pet to a T, and I'm also always open to answering any questions you may have about the care your pet will receive in your home.

I work from home full-time, and care for our five cat babies along with my husband. Because of my schedule, I can offer flexible and reliable care for your babies while you’re away. He sent pet pictures and videos the entire time, and even when Diesel was being a little hellion was so patient and even spent some extra time with him to calm him down. Please use him, you won’t regret it. He’s going to be my regular sitter moving forward!!”

“The BEST! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily! I’m pretty sure our fur children love her more than they love us but all kidding aside, she is attentive to all details and truly loves our animals. We have a wild English bulldog who is still living his best life on a high level of puppy energy and she is so wonderful with him. I do not worry about them at all when we are away and love all of the updates and pictures she shares. Not to mention our house is usually tidier than before we left. Truly a wonderful sitter!”

“Nuith took excellent care of my cat and dog while we were away on a weekend trip. We requested very last minute and she was able to work with us and come meet our pets. We received pictures and updates and had no worries about leaving our animals for the weekend!”

About: I was raised in a home and farm full of animals (dogs, cats, chickens, even pigs) so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I currently have a dog and an elderly cat who are truly the loves of my life, and I treat every pet with that same level of care, patience, and attention. I also have a clinical medical background, which makes me very comfortable administering medications and handling special care needs with confidence. I have a lot of flexibility in my day to day schedule. Just let me know what you need, happy to accommodate. I’ll plan my day around your pet care. My fur babies receive a lot of love, care, and attention. My cat needs oral medication every other day, so I’m on top of that, and I give long walks to my pup, letting him choose his own sniffing adventure. It’s his walk, he tells me where he wants to go (on a leash). :)

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Point Venture
Chris did a great job watching our floofs while we’re out of town! They loved her right away, and they don’t generally warm up to people that quickly. The visits were all at least the time we requested and sometime more, which I’m sure the cats loved :) 10/10 recommend!

Carla has taken wonderful care of Cyrus, and he absolutely adores her. It’s immediately clear that she genuinely loves animals, and that care and attention shows in everything she does. She is very trustworthy, friendly, and professional, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I’m so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
