About: I worked at a kennel for four years and have had a miriade of pets through the years. I really love animals and have three cats, a dog, several fish tanks, and a whole herd of chickens. I'm very calm and patient so at the kennel I often worked with dogs that were timid or elderly. I have a lot of experience taking care of all types of animals, each with their own special needs and requirements, so I'm happy when the parent tells me exactly what they want for their animal. I’m a pet portrait artist so my hours are very flexible. The kids are out for the summer so my schedule is wide open. I have a huge respect for people’s privacy and caring for their pets the way that they would want them to be treated. I love all the creatures.

About: I have cared for pets for about 10 years now have lots of experience with both dogs and cats. Whether it’s dogs,cats, birds, or fish I have the experience to care for them.I worked at a pet shop for 4 years when I was in high school and learned a lot while there. I started walking dogs on the side and have been doing it now for about 3 years. During your pets stay I will walk and bond with them. As well as any other special requirements that you may ask for. Having several doggos of my own I implement that into my daily routine by including them in my daily walks, and daily dog park visits. I have a big fenced in yard and live in a secure community. Working from home helps me constantly keep an eye on your pet.

We went on vacation and did not want to worry about our dogs and Melissa did such a great job we didn't have to worry and were able to enjoy the vacation. She is punctual and followed all directions and was sure to keep in touch with us. She somehow was able to pet my chihuahua who is very leery of people so that was a huge plus! One of my dogs had an "accident" and she took the time to clean up as well as wash all dogs bowls and other items used to take care of them. THANK YOU MELISSA!”

Whether it’s taking an energetic pup for a walk or dropping in on a lazy dog, I’d love to help care for your pet however you may need. Have a pup unable to (or strongly dislikes) walking but loves to be outside? I’ll bring my wagon and happily pull them behind me! Does your dog just need someone to pet and love on them while you’re away? No worries, I’ve got you covered! I am currently earning my bachelors degree and have Summer break coming up from June-August. I’ll be available from 10 am to 8 pm daily, or can schedule outside of these times with 24 hour notice. Caring for and loving animals is a passion of mine and their health is my number one priority. I am well-versed in following instructions, and given specific guidelines I will maintain your dog’s routine.
