About: I have been surrounded by dogs since I was 9 years old! I have taken care of dogs around the neighborhood, and watched them while their owners were away any chance I could get. I love playing, walking and running around with them to their hearts content. I work Monday-Thursday and am off every weekend. With the exception of being in-call 24/7, I have a flexible and adaptable schedule. Your pet will get the best care around! I live in a duplex. The complex has a dog park, places to walk and a park nearby. I have a pup who LOVES nothing more than puppy play dates and to have a blast running and playing!
About: My dog name Ollie he is the baby of the house he loves to run, and go for long walks he will NOT play fetch lol. My husband is in the army and I'm at home full time your pet will have somebody to watch him/her full time. I walk Ollie at least 2 times a day one of the walks I try to continuously walk him for 30 minutes to use up some of his energy and keep myself in shape. All breeds are accepted under a 100 pounds. I am Available to walk your dog or baby sit over night. I understand the importance of having someone reliable to watch over your family. My five year old is in kindergarten now, so I have Lots of time in my day. Trying to keep myself busy and active through the week. I have a fence yard with plenty of space indoor and outdoor. The outdoor yard is all fenced in so it’s safe for outdoor play time.

“Catherine is so wonderful and understanding. At the last minute when our sitter cancelled on us, and we needed someone to watch Ace. Catherine was able to help us out, not once but twice and I will forever be thankful for her. She’s God sent and Ace has a sitter for life!!”

About: Hello! My name is Ashlyn and I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up having a dog, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, and hermit crabs, and even raised goats and rabbits in FFA! I love all types of animals and enjoy getting outside for walks and hikes. Whether it’s taking an energetic pup for a walk or dropping in on a lazy dog, I’d love to help care for your pet however you may need. Have a pup unable to (or strongly dislikes) walking but loves to be outside? I’ll bring my wagon and happily pull them behind me! Does your dog just need someone to pet and love on them while you’re away? No worries, I’ve got you covered! I am currently earning my bachelors degree and have Summer break coming up from June-August. I’ll be available from 10 am to 8 pm daily, or can schedule outside of these times with 24 hour notice. Caring for and loving animals is a passion of mine and their health is my number one priority. I am well-versed in following instructions, and given specific guidelines I will maintain your dog’s routine.
“I love how Errin is always available, even on short notice. :D She leaves great detailed reports. I know she loves on and spends quality time with my boy. It means the world to know he is cared for while I’m away.”

“April took care of our two senior dogs for two weeks. When we first met April, she clearly exhibited an understanding that caring for senior dogs necessitates dedication, flexibility, and compassion. She made time each day for cuddles, petting, and simply sitting together. These moments of quiet companionship deepened the bond and reassured both our dogs that they were safe and loved. She certainly had challenges, including changes in appetite, managing their medications and dealing with separation anxiety our dogs experienced. We enjoyed peace of mind during our vacation, confident that our pets were in April's care. She maintained consistent communication through both text messages and photos. Through these communications, we observed our dogs respond with tail wagging and gentle nuzzling. We greatly appreciate our acquaintance with April and intend to involve her in all future boarding arrangements for our pets.”

“Prayas did a fantastic job caring for my dogs. He gave them cuddles fed and watered them and was super attentive. He had no issue handling both dogs and was a great communicator”

“My young son was nervous about having someone care for his cats. Deleyla made him comfortable within a few minutes on our initial meeting and even got him very excited about the trip. Deleyla did a great job of communicating while we were gone and the pictures were great. We could tell the cats were in great hands and very happy. I'd highly recommend her to provide care.”

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover — I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, rats, lizards, and fish, and that love of animals led me to earn my Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology and spend 10 years as an emergency vet tech. That background means I bring a level of care most sitters can't offer: • Comfortable administering oral and injectable medications, including subQ fluids • Experienced with anxious, elderly, and special-needs pets • Trained to recognize early signs of distress or illness • Calm and capable in unexpected situations I also work from home full time, so your pet gets a constant companion instead of long stretches alone — feedings, walks, and meds happen on schedule, not whenever someone swings by. I've built a consistent system I use with every client: a detailed meet-and-greet to learn your pet's routine, daily photo/video updates (I send 2-3 per day), and a final update when you're back so you know exactly how everything went. Whether your pet needs medical attention, extra patience, or just a lot of love, I'll treat them like my own. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I work from home full time, so I'm rarely away from the house for more than a quick errand. That means consistent attention all day — on-schedule feedings and meds, midday walks, and a calm, present companion rather than a pet left alone for hours. My schedule is flexible enough to accommodate early meds, late-night potty breaks, or whatever your pet's normal routine requires. House sitting: I treat your home and pets like my own. Because I work remotely, I'm present throughout the day — no waiting around for a sitter to stop by. I keep feeding, medication, exercise, and sleep routines exactly as you left them, with regular photo updates throughout your trip. Drop-in visits: I make every visit count — fresh food and water, medications if needed, potty breaks, and real playtime, not just a quick check. You'll get a photo update after every single visit.
“Cheryal is a wonderful cat sitter! We recently lost 3 of our sitters all at once. After interviewing a few Rovers, Cheryal was the only person whose primary care was for cats. After 5 days, our boy is content, properly fed, and while you can tell he missed us, his anxiety is low for our string out cat ?. She's also a great communicator and made sure we got our daily pic fix. We will definitely use Cheryal again.”

“Krissie was so amazing taking care of my two fur babies! She responds in a very timely manner and was so friendly to talk with. She sent pictures of my babies and was so very loving towards them. I felt very comfortable leaving them with her & knew they were in great hands 🙂”

About: Growing up with and caring for cats and dogs my whole life, I understand the attention and consistency they need—especially when your schedule pulls you away! My goal is to shower your pet with love while keeping them safe and happy under my care. I know how important peace of mind is, so communication and dependability are big in my book. I have experience with pets of all ages, including those with medication requirements and behavioral needs, giving each pet the extra attention they deserve. I currently have a very flexible schedule that allows me to provide care every day of the week from 7am - to 7pm. I could come over for walks and play time through out the day I have a yard with a fence and a fur baby of my own who would enjoy keeping your pet company. Can only accept house trained pets

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Jonestown
We've been working with Sierra for 5 months now, and she is fantastic. She checks on our dogs during the day when we're at work. She's been so good with all the animals; she plays with our high-energy, 80lb GSD puppy and takes out our little old man, who's 9lb and 15.5 years old, so she covers quite the range with our dogs. Sierra is great to communicate with, has been really responsive and collaborative on booking times. She even goes above and beyond and grabs packages when she sees them, which is not something we expect, but I think speaks to her character. I highly recommend Sierra if you're looking for someone to watch your pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
