About: I've taken care of pets when I was younger, but throughout the past couple of years I haven't cared for many animals. I'll watch a friends dog here and there, but I'd love to get more into animal care. Pets give off special energies and I love how they can make a person feel more comfortable and relaxed. I'd love to have pets when I move into a place of my own, but until then I'll care for yours! Pretty open availability - just get with me on details! Luckily, I work from home full-time, so we should be able to work something out! I'm generally very gentle and patient when it comes to animal care. I strongly believe in listening to the owners needs and methods of caring for their pets as it will allow for me to give your pet the best care possible. I love playtimes and cuddling with dogs and cats, so expect them to receive lots of love! I will happily follow any protocol you have for your pet as long as you clearly communicate that with me beforehand.

“Kellye is the absolute best pet sitter! She always gives detailed updates and ensures our cats have food, water, and access to a clean litter box! Highly Recommend!”

“Brandy has become indispensable to us, which is great since she is so reliable. Gus gets so excited when he hears her coming. I think he can actually distinguish the sound of her car because he starts getting worked up before she is even out of her car.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10 for neighbors and family friends! I love meeting new pets and spending time with them and getting to learn their quirks I am currently in high school but have early release and am able to go over quite frequently throughout the day! I also work part time but have flexible hours I love spending time with the pets whether that’s going on a long walk or just hanging out on the couch together watching a movie
“Yung-Chu did a great job taking care of my cats while I was out of town. She followed instructions with care and was flexible with adjusting the amount of drop in visits. She even took the time to do a meet and greet before the cat sitting began. I would highly recommend her to watch your fur babies.”

“Madyson was great! She did a drop in visit for my pup and gave my pup lots of attention and playtime while she was here! She also gave me a thorough rundown of what they did during the visit, which I appreciated. I would definitely book Madyson again!”

“Marilia did a great job checking in on my girls. She was very sweet and patient with them and was prompt and thorough with her update. My puppy had an accident in her kennel and Marilia was kind enough to try to clean it up with the limited supplies left out for her. She did not seem to mind at all. I would not hesitate to book her again.”

“Definitely five stars for Meni. She’s a great communicator, prompt, and treated my dog and two kitties with the upmost care. We’ll definitely be using her services again.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I recently lost my best friend of old age a Maltese, I currently have a French Bulldog, Rottweiler, and Doberman. I have experience with a wide range of pets. I currently have a flexible schedule during the weekdays and will have plenty of time to play with your pets. My weekends will be unavailable. I do have a fenced yard with enough room to run around. My pets at home are very friendly with other pets that come in.
“Prayas did a fantastic job caring for my dogs. He gave them cuddles fed and watered them and was super attentive. He had no issue handling both dogs and was a great communicator”

About: I’ve been an owner of a dog my entire life. For the past 4 years I have been taking care of neighbors and friends pets. Love them all! I do not work and can be home daily/nightly with your pet. I also have a dog door that leads to the backyard for them to go in and outside as they please. I have a safe fenced in backyard with my own little dog that gets along well with people and other dogs. I also have a dog door for them to go in and out and some even sleep with us!
“Nathan is amazing. He’s thorough and SO communicative. He sent pet pictures and videos the entire time, and even when Diesel was being a little hellion was so patient and even spent some extra time with him to calm him down. Please use him, you won’t regret it. He’s going to be my regular sitter moving forward!!”

“Lauren is great! We’ve used her multiple times for our high energy dogs. She’s reliable, communicates well, and our dogs love her! Will absolutely be booking with her in the future.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cedar Park
Lenzie did fantastic! I am a first time Rover user and she knew I was concerned. She went above and beyond and I would suggest her to anyone looking for animal help. She sent me daily pics, told me how he was, and just really exceeded my expectations!! I will be using her again if I ever need to! As well as referring her to all my friends! In my opinion, and I have no idea how that works, she should get a raise from Rover!!

Vanessa is an amazing pet sitter! She took great care of our pets while we were gone. They were all very happy and calm when we arrived home. Vanessa is super responsive, dependable and very nice to chat with. She went above and beyond. I highly recommend using her for your pet sitting needs and I will be booking with her again in the future!

Serenity is an amazing and kindhearted young woman! She is so fun, energetic and very responsible as well as respectful. She cares for your animals with enthusiasm like they are her own. Seeing how my service dog Hunk interacts with her and is excited to see her is heartwarming. I am incredibly independent but recently found myself disabled on my left side (cannot walk or bend) and in a rush needed some support taking care of my service dog in training Hunk (7 month yellow lab) while I am residing at a skilled nursing facility. Something about Serenity made me trust her enough to book her and I am so glad I did. She is not only a great companion and caregiver to Hunk but is the kind of person I would trust with all my animals. She does have some constraints to her availability due to working on continuing her education and working her other job, but she is able to communicate her availability about 3-4 weeks in advance which was something I really appreciated. She is great at communicating and remembering details that other people have forgotten in the past. I would give her infinite stars if I could and I am certain Hunk feels the same way!

Nicholas is flexible and dependable. He responds quickly and keeps in contact. Once or twice we forgot to unlock the door. He texted us and waited for us to open the garage door, he didn’t just leave. I’ve also had to cancel our regular schedule due to sick kids and school events and he was always very understanding!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
