About: 2+ years experience as a an L3 cat caretaker in a shelter environment. Pet CPR and first aid certified via PetTech. Fear Free trained. Able to administer various medical treatments including pills, topicals, injections, and more. Compassionate care for all ages including recently weaned and seniors. Nonreactive to fractious or anxious cat behaviors. Saturday through Thursday I am available after 4 pm. Fridays I am available after 10 pm. This is because I work at a shelter M-F, and then sometimes another job Fridays and Sundays. There may be the rare occasion I am not available on a Thursday. If a client has a list of instructions or specific points, then I am more than happy to follow those. Otherwise general cat care includes clean bowls for fresh food and water, completely clearing waste from litter boxes (deep cleaning as needed), social stimulation by petting or playing if the cat is amenable, and maybe some catnip or a treat puzzle as enrichment. And of course I am familiar with various kinds of medical care and clean up.
“Marilia was incredible with our puppy, Nacho, on a day when we really needed extra help. She went above and beyond — giving him all the snuggles, treats, and playtime he could ask for, keeping his area spotless, and sending pictures and updates that completely put my mind at ease. It was clear how much she truly cares about the dogs she watches. Coming home to a calm, happy puppy after such a big day meant everything to us. We can’t thank her enough for her kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for animals. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Brandy took great care of our dachshund while we were away. She came by in advance to meet him (and us) and made sure she understood special instructions. She dropped in when scheduled, informed us of how he was doing, and included photos. He warmed up to her quickly and seemed happy to have a little company in our absence. We definitely would use her again!”

About: Pets have always been a big part of my life, and I've grown up treating them as part of the family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior companions. I especially enjoy spending time with puppies and kittens who are SO very cute but often need a little more attention, patience, and consistency. Being a pet owner myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while giving you complete peace of mind. Expect plenty of cuddles, walks, playtime, and personalized care tailored to your pet's needs. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom and have plenty of time during the summer to check in on your pets. My time flexibility makes scheduling easy! My family currently has one dog, two cats, and five chickens. The type of care I’d expect for them is the same type of care I will give for your pets as well.
“Nathan is amazing. He’s thorough and SO communicative. He sent pet pictures and videos the entire time, and even when Diesel was being a little hellion was so patient and even spent some extra time with him to calm him down. Please use him, you won’t regret it. He’s going to be my regular sitter moving forward!!”

“Serenity is an amazing and kindhearted young woman! She is so fun, energetic and very responsible as well as respectful. She cares for your animals with enthusiasm like they are her own. Seeing how my service dog Hunk interacts with her and is excited to see her is heartwarming. I am incredibly independent but recently found myself disabled on my left side (cannot walk or bend) and in a rush needed some support taking care of my service dog in training Hunk (7 month yellow lab) while I am residing at a skilled nursing facility. Something about Serenity made me trust her enough to book her and I am so glad I did. She is not only a great companion and caregiver to Hunk but is the kind of person I would trust with all my animals. She does have some constraints to her availability due to working on continuing her education and working her other job, but she is able to communicate her availability about 3-4 weeks in advance which was something I really appreciated. She is great at communicating and remembering details that other people have forgotten in the past. I would give her infinite stars if I could and I am certain Hunk feels the same way!”

“Madyson was great with our cats, who warmed up to her right away. She communicated clearly and often (in fact, her communication is better than mine), and sent lots of pictures so I knew our kitties were enjoying her drop-ins. We'll definitely be looking to book again!”
“Michele is just the best Rover sitter for all fur babies! She has pristine communication and will come over to meet pups, get keys etc taking as much time as needed. She is truly a pet lover and my two Frenchies think of her as family. She sends so many photos and even videos of your babies while away daily. No need to look any further for someone to care for your pets. ❤️🐕🦺🦮🐶”

“Yung-Chu C was absolutely wonderful to work with and took excellent care of our tiny tortie cat, iO. She followed all the instructions and was communicative and friendly. The daily pictures of iO were super adorable and appreciated. Yung-Chu C. is awesome and the whole experience set us at ease to see how comfortable iO was with her while we were away. We will definitely hire her again when we need to travel!”

About: While I haven’t owned a dog of my own (have always had cats & love them with my whole heart), I have cared for my friends/family’s dogs countless times over the years. (Also can’t wait to have one later on, specially a corgi) I specifically take care of my dad’s chocolate lab (full of energy) & we do great together. She’s still a puppy but I have taught her how to lay down & do paw. (Dad already taught her to sit). I take care of every animal as if they are my own. While it takes responsibility to take care of animals, I have always felt like it was never a hassle with how much I love animals. Your babies will receive the best care with me! I am punctual about times if they have a set schedule as well. Let me care for your fur babies as we will be become besties! :) I currently am a full-time student as well as a part-time employee at ACC. I work on Monday -Thursday from 12:30pm - 5pm. My job allows me to be able to work on school work while at work which is quite lovely so, school doesn’t tend to affect my timing for things. As I said, I care for every animal as if they are my own. When they go out, I go out with them and they never leave my sight. If they need to be fenced in, I can make it happen. When taking care of animals of others, I keep my phone ringer on at all times in case they need to call for any reason. Overall, your animals and I would become besties.
About: I've taken care of pets when I was younger, but throughout the past couple of years I haven't cared for many animals. I'll watch a friends dog here and there, but I'd love to get more into animal care. Pets give off special energies and I love how they can make a person feel more comfortable and relaxed. I'd love to have pets when I move into a place of my own, but until then I'll care for yours! Pretty open availability - just get with me on details! Luckily, I work from home full-time, so we should be able to work something out! I'm generally very gentle and patient when it comes to animal care. I strongly believe in listening to the owners needs and methods of caring for their pets as it will allow for me to give your pet the best care possible. I love playtimes and cuddling with dogs and cats, so expect them to receive lots of love! I will happily follow any protocol you have for your pet as long as you clearly communicate that with me beforehand.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Ashley. She was so incredibly kind, attentive, loving, responsive, and wonderful with my dogs. She knows huskies well and wasn’t worried about walking the hyper husky and chill shiba every day. I was gone for 12 days and was not once worried about leaving them in her care. She also fed my blue tongue skink and ensured it was cared for! I will for sure book with her again! She’s a gem!

Nicholas is flexible and dependable. He responds quickly and keeps in contact. Once or twice we forgot to unlock the door. He texted us and waited for us to open the garage door, he didn’t just leave. I’ve also had to cancel our regular schedule due to sick kids and school events and he was always very understanding!
Ryan was amazing. I was a little nervous because I have an elderly anxious dog but Ryan was sweet and gentle with her. She took to him well. He kept me up to date with pictures and videos while I was away. I will definitely be using him again next time I travel. Thank you Ryan from Amanda and Ella

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Cedar Park with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
