“Laura and her family are solid gold. Gemma was worn out when we got home and I’m sure she played most of the day. Her kids were so sweet and very respectful, you can tell they love every dog that walks through their door! Winslow is SO sweet and looks like a show dog. If I ever get in a pinch again, Laura is definitely my go to!!”

I can accommodate pet care throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, offering flexible and attentive service. In my home, pets enjoy a fenced yard for safe play, alongside my friendly dog. If needed, I can easily crate your pet for comfort or safety, ensuring attentive care whether in my home or yours.
About: I have enjoyed taking care of dogs of every size and numerous cats in my lifetime and loved each one. I became a Rover sitter to help pet owners relax while they are away, knowing there is someone taking good care of their furbabies. I am trustworthy, dependable, and very respectful of your property and privacy (retired school teacher here!) I don't open closed doors or cabinets while in your home. I promise your pups or kitties will be in good hands with me and will receive much love and attention. I work part-time and can arrange my schedule to accommodate pet sitting. Please send your booking request at least a week ahead of time. Thanks! I can give meds and take care of older dogs and cats. I will be sure that your baby is safe and comfortable with me.

We have been sitting other dogs for over a year now. Our girl gets along so well and enjoys the company of other pups. Both of us work from.hkme, so there will be one of us home, at any point in time. Can't wait to host your pups and make sweet memories! Both me and my husband work from home on flexible schedules. So one of us will ge home at any point in time. Weekends we will have extra hands from our boys. Single family home with a fenced yard. Plenty of room to play. Close to veterans park, if clients need extra energy shedding. Pets are not allowed on furniture or upstairs.
“Accommodated me at last minute and did a fantastic job with my pup. Took her for a walk at a local pro and fed her dinner and was flexible with pick-up & drop-off time. Would definitely use again. She’s passed out on her teddy bear now so I know she had a great time!”

About: Hello there! My partner and I just moved to Austin and have been trying to explore every inch of it whenever possible. Growing up in Hawaii I was a volunteer at the local humane society and no kill shelters off and on for many years which ignited my love of dogs.🐺 💗 After college I spent 2 years as a lead for a busy doggy daycare in Seattle, 1 year as a manager of a dog food / grooming boutique in California, 1 year as a dog trainer in Los Angeles and my partner and I have fostered many dogs before they were adopted. I live in a house with a fenced-in yard with my guy, our 9 year old Husky and our 2 year old Beauceron. We like to play and wonder around our neighborhood with our dogs and I'd love it if your pup could join us! I don’t have a full time job at the moment and my partner works from home, so I have lots of time for walks and enriching activities! Our house has a spacious fenced in yard and multiple bedrooms that can be used for guest dogs. We also have an XL crate and baby gates that we utilize to keep the dogs separate for feeding/ sleeping/ breaks/ and anytime a human is not right there to monitor them. Dogs are never left outside alone, and when we need to leave the house we put every dog in their own space with water and a treat and turn on ring cameras inside to monitor them.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cedar Park
This was Peach’s first daycare experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better one. We received updates and photos throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Peach came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We’ll definitely be booking again!

Sadie had a great time staying at Michele’s when my husband and I took a last minute day trip out of town. Michele provided us updates with photos throughout the day, which we appreciated! She was very kind and we can tell she really loves and cares for all the dogs that come to her place! We will definitely consider booking with Michele again in the future :)

This is the first time we used Rover app to find the dog sitter. The process was simple, and Lauren was very responsive to my inquiries and questions. During the stay, we received multiple updates/photos from Lauren. We felt at ease leaving our dog with Lauren. When we picked up our dog, he was calm and happy, no sign of anxiety. I bet he enjoyed his time at Lauren’s house. We are grateful for her care.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Cedar Park commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
