About: (New to Jonestown, from Houston!) I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals from a very young age. I realize I had a knack for caring for animals and also training animals. I dove into dogs psychology, and just kept learning more about how dogs communicate with each other and the boundaries that dogs set that goes unnoticed by humans and the respect that each dog needs to be given to earn their complete trust I am currently work as a realtor who just also really enjoys spending time out doors and with my dogs. So I decided that why shouldn’t I make others peoples lives easier by helping care for their dogs, I am already outdoors or just out an about. Let me care for others pets the way I would like my pets to be cared for. I have a completely fenced yard 8ft high. All gates are have a self shutting mechanisms. As an added layer to the protection of my yard. All gates have signs that indicate dogs are in the yard and gates MUST be shut at all times. I also carry a doggy fanny pack with an extra leash and treats to ensure comfort for the pets and their parents at all times when transporting them.

About: If your dog has ever tried to go home with someone else - it was me. It happens all the time. I’m absolutely a dog person, but I grew up with cats and have a great time with them too. Animals have always been part of my everyday life. I currently have two dogs of my own, and I’ve been pet sitting unofficially for years. I joined Rover in 2023 and have built up a solid group of long-term, regular clients since then. This isn’t a side gig for me. This is what I do. I love it, I take it seriously, and your pet is my priority while we’re together. Dogs and I get along pretty quickly. I haven’t met one yet that didn’t have a great time while we were out together, and many of them would happily come home with me if given the chance. I love walking pups when it’s hot, when it’s cold, and when the weather is perfect. I’m very safety-focused and always consider the dog in front of me. Weather, age, size, build, health needs, and personality quirks all matter. A young, high-energy dog and a senior pup don’t have the same needs and I change what I do based upon who I am with. My goal is for pets to be safe, cared for, and excited to see me. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets. I have experience with dogs who take medications, have medical needs, are adopted, fearful, or still warming up to new people. I’m patient, observant, and good at meeting dogs where they are. I regularly serve the 78750, 78729, 78759, and 78613 areas. Meet and greets are usually under 20 minutes and are just a low-key chance for us to chat about your pet’s routine and needs, for me to meet your pet, and for everyone to make sure it feels like a good fit moving forward. I offer dog walking, drop-ins, house sitting, and doggy daycare. Boarding and daycare are available for dogs I’m already familiar with or after a meet and greet where everyone is comfortable. I have dog toys, Chuck It and fetch toys, dog puzzles, and cat toys that I can bring along to enhance a visit or booking. I have a fenced in yard that has already been dog proofed for my own dogs. I have a crate for a very large dog that can be used if needed. Our house is non smoking. Dogs can be on the couch if they have good manners and we have a million dog beds to make sure they are comfortable.

About: Hello, my name is Lynn P. I am a mother with 2 dogs. I have a 7-year-old jack Russell terrier his name is Max. And I also have a 3-year-old Doberman name is Apollo. They're both very calm and loved and well behaved and loves to meet new friends to hang out with. Apollo and Max sure knows how to welcome new dogs in the house they're both very gentle and playful at the same time. I work from home most of my time through the week. So, they will get lots of attention throughout the days. I usually take the boys out 3x a day to stretch out their legs and burn off some energy. Don't worry your dogs will get the same love as my own dogs. I will care for your pets and make sure they are comfortable and safe. They will get more attention than my own dog probably. Just kidding. Not only you will gain my trust with your family dog, but your dog will also make new friends. Currently working from home most of the time of the week. I am open for new guest to join the club. I have two dogs myself and my daughter loves keeping them entertain. I have a balcony where they can go out to sunbathe both my dogs love doing that during the afternoon. But they don’t use it to pee or poop it’s only for relaxing if they want fresh air. I also take the boys out in the morning and afternoon and one last walk before bedtime. My boys get 2 meals a day along with their vitamins. And after a nice walk they will be reward for dog dental treat.

About: I've been a Petsitter with Rover since October of 2020 and am just returning from pregnacy leave for my second child, who just turned 6 months old!! In addition to in-home care, I also have experience working in a corporate boarding facility and Ive previously fostered dogs/puppies throughout all stages of adoption.
