Your dog's home away from home
I live in a smaller, cozy home in Leander, just outside Austin, with a small fenced backyard that's perfect for sniffing around, sunbathing, or a good game of fetch. I work from home full-time, so I'm never rushing out the door — I'm around all day, every day, which means your dog gets my full attention, whether that's extra walks, cuddle time on the couch, or just having someone nearby when they want company. I offer boarding, house sitting, and drop-in visits, and I'm happy to work with dogs of all kinds under about 100 lbs. Whether your pup needs a relaxed home to stay in while you're away, a familiar face checking in on them at your place, or a sitter who'll treat your house like their own, I'd love to help. After a lifetime with dogs, I know that every one of them is a little different — some want to snuggle all day like Allie, others want more activity — and I take the time to figure out what makes your dog feel comfortable and loved. If you're looking for someone patient, experienced, and genuinely home all the time, I'd be honored to look after your best friend.

Ratings and reviews
At my age, it's hard to trust anyone with my baby — my shih tzu-poodle mix is truly my whole world. When I went to Anchorage for three weeks to visit my grandchildren, Donna took such wonderful care of her, letting her out to potty as often as she needed and treating her like her own. Donna sent me pictures and videos with updates almost every day, which meant the world to me while I was so far away. I came home to a happy, healthy pup, and I finally felt at peace being away from her for that long. I can't recommend Donna enough.
Donna is an absolute gem. She's watched my two French bulldogs, Aspen and Onyx, and taken amazing care of them every time — giving them their medicine, taking them on walks, and just showering them with love. Onyx has even claimed her as his personal pillow and has a habit of stealing the scrunchie right out of her hair! If you want someone who will treat your dogs like family, it's Donna
I’ve known Donna for 20 years, and I can honestly say she treats dogs better than anyone I’ve ever met. She’s incredibly thoughtful about what they eat and extremely careful about who she trusts with them. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your dog like family, Donna is the real deal.

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so my schedule is wide open — there's no clocking in and out for me, which means your dog isn't waiting around for a set walk time or stuck alone for hours. Bathroom breaks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles all happen throughout the day, whenever your pup needs them, not on a fixed schedule. Since I'm home basically around the clock, I'm able to stay flexible and adjust to whatever routine your dog is used to.

Safety, trust & environment
our dog's safety and comfort come first. My backyard has a tall fence, so there's plenty of secure space to play, sniff around, and soak up some sun without any worry. My home is smoke-free, and it's just me and my senior English bulldog, Allie — she's about as low-key as they come and gets along easily with other dogs. I know meeting a new sitter can feel like a big step, so I'm always happy to do a meet-and-greet beforehand if that puts you more at ease — but I also know it's not necessary for everyone, so I leave that totally up to you. While your dog is with me, I'll send regular photo and text updates so you can see exactly how they're doing. One thing I bring that a lot of sitters don't: years of caring for an English bulldog. Bulldogs need a close eye kept on their breathing and overall comfort, and that habit has stuck with me — I watch every dog in my care just as closely, whatever the breed. Once you've taken care of an English bulldog, honestly, every other breed feels easy by comparison.
