Our pup Alfie recently spent the day with Stephanie and we were very pleased with his stay. Our boy hasn't met a lot of people yet so he was a little anxious when we dropped him off. Stephanie kept us updated throughout the day and our boy finally settled in after an hour. We really appreciated her updates and we could tell she was very knowledgeable about the behavior of dogs. We will be using Stephanie for all of our doggy boarding needs. Thank you!

Sinthiana was great with my Shuri. Shuri was totally tired after her day at Sinthiana's, and seemed to have totally enjoyed it. Sinthiana sent me a lot of pictures throughout the day, and also was very accommodating of my schedule, both of which I greatly appreciated. I'll definitely recommend her!

Lily was very accommodating, responsive, and sweet with our puppy! She also provided regular pictures and updates. Highly recommend having your pet stay with Lily!

If you're scrolling & not sure who to choose...look no further. Leilani is the only pet sitter you need. An exceptional sitter who goes above and beyond. Her love for animals was obvious from the moment I contacted her. She treated my pet with so much care, patience, and genuine affection. She is reliable, attentive, and clearly passionate about animals. I received thoughtful updates, and my pet was calm, comfortable, and well‑cared‑for when I picked her up. A true professional with a big heart. Mario

About: I work from home, so your dog gets constant company and supervision - not hours alone in a crate. I have crates and beds set up in every room - bedroom, living area and right next to my desk in my office. I also have a dog hammock on the patio, so your dog can settle in wherever feels comfortable to them. I'm experienced with positive reinforcement training, including hand signals and treat-based cues, which works well for dogs who are shy, older, or still learning. I also have easy access to walking trails and a dog park, so there's always an option for exercise, whether your dog wants a calm stroll or more active playtime. I have a group of friends and their pups at the dog park that played with my pup Charli for years until I recently lost her to cancer. Dogs are family to me. I've cared for a dog through serious illness, so I understand what patience, routine, and gentle care really look like. I will bring that same level of attention to your dog while in my care. I'll keep you updated with photos, videos, and check-ins so you always know your pup is safe, happy, and loved. I work from home. I am available for boarding Monday through Friday. I am not available on weekends currently. In most cases, I can have a drop off scheduled for evenings on Sunday if necessary but pick up will have to be on Friday by 6pm. I do not have any pets currently. I just lost my 5 year old pup to cancer. She was my life. I trained her with hand signals. She was well behaved and my travel companion. I love dogs and have the patience and availability to care for them. I have a patio with a dog hammock for relaxing. I have two crates and multiple beds set up in different rooms - my bedroom, my office and the living room. Dogs are allowed on the couch and if they are more comfy sleeping in the bed, I'm ok with that. I have trails all around my complex that I walk daily for leash walks and a nice dog park. If your dog is not friendly with other dogs but still needs exercise, I have the freedom to go to the dog park during the day when the park is mostly empty. I have a group of friends that my pup played with at the dog park and it is a great community here.

Our Corgi, Koda, pretty much considers Paul and Karina his second family. They are so kind and Koda always comes back tired and happy. They send a ton of photos so I know he’s having a good time. They are definitely our first choice whenever we have to go out of town.

About: Hey guys! I have been taking care of the doggos for the past 8 years. I have my own Siberian Husky who is the friendliest guy around. I can take care of any medical needs such as oral and intramuscular if needed. My boy has elbow dysplasia so I’m well versed in giving medication. I have tons of patience when it comes to the doggos and will work with them. We have our own dog park which is right around the corner. They will never be bored. I have a hybrid work schedule and my office is 4 minutes away. I’ll be gone in the morning and home by 12pm Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday I am home all day. I take care of them like they are my own children. Feed them on schedule and playtime as well. They will get all the love and care that I give my dog Vincent. We will play everyday at the dog park. If you aren’t fond of dog parks for your pup we can go on long nature walks near my neighborhood. If your pup just needs a spot to lay their head and watch movies they can do so on my bed. I have plenty of space for them to roam around have two story apartment with 2 bedrooms. They will love my place.

About: I have experience watching dogs of all ages and sizes in NY and now Texas. I understand needs of dogs whether that be sensitive to noises, separation anxiety, etc - I’ve seen it all. Especially with my own six pound Chihuahua! Experience in administering medicine and training, I can help you and accommodate for anything you may need. I have tons of love to give and will provide an easy and calming experience for you and your family. I work from home and am able to give your pet 24/7 attention. Walks can be given every hour and the dog park at least once a day, if your dog likes dog parks. I am available every day and very flexible with scheduling. I live alone in a quiet house with a fenced backyard so there’s plenty of space for your furry friend to get comfortable. I also have a very friendly chihuahua that will be with me for any dog boarding. Your dog may sleep on the furniture or in a crate, whatever you prefer. I can administer medicine (no shots) and live within walking distance of a vet that I know personally, so this is the perfect place in case of any emergencies.

Christopher was great taking care of our younger puppy for the day! We did a meet and greet a few days before so our puppy was familiar and comfortable with his house prior to daycare. He sent lots of pictures right after drop-off so we could see our puppy was happy and playing with the other dogs and even a cat. We'll definitely be bringing our puppy back when we need daycare going forward!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Point Venture on Rover is $35.52 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 2,760 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Point Venture. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Point Venture commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,760 sitters in Point Venture, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
