“Nicholas was fantastic yet again! Provided great care for my dog and thorough communication each stop in. He walked her, played with her and kept her perfectly cared for. Always will return to and recommend Nicholas' services!”

“Repeat customer! Kristin does such a great job with my dog! He seems to love her and she’s good with his anxious behaviors! Will definitely continue using her services! She also does a great job with my crazy work travel schedule and is flexible with accommodating changes that unexpectedly arise!”

“Lucy checked in on our 10 year old Russian blue while we were out of state and she was amazing!! So loving to our fur baby and made sure she has everything she needed. Highly recommend!”

“Cristina was great! She came over a couple of times before hand for meet and greets with Penelope since she is skittish around new people. Penelope warmed up to her right away and we felt so comfortable leaving her with Cristina. We will definitely rebook in the future! Thank you 😊”

About: I have had a dog my whole life, and I always take care of my friends dogs when they’re away, ranging from all sizes and breeds! I am a rising sophomore in college and I am available this summer and early fall! I can house sit and do drop in, I am very flexible. I have one small maltipoo dog. I have a gate in my backyard, and always walk my dog and other dogs on leashes, unless instructed otherwise!
“Whitney really is one of the best for dog services she knows how to walk well and gets along with your pet immediately also very mild-mannered and relaxing to work with”

About: I have owned and taken care of cats and dogs my whole life so I am very comfortable meeting different animals’ complex needs. I am also a teacher on summer break, so my current schedule is incredibly open and flexible. My weekly availability is Monday-Sunday whenever I am needed! I have my own pets at home so aside from taking care of their needs, my schedule is very open! I have done a great amount of house sitting along with watching pets so I am happy to meet any requirements for taking care of your space when I am occupying it!
About: I’ve had pets since I was a little girl and have passed the love I have for them down to my dog loving kiddos too! I currently don’t have any pets, so my time at home with my daughter is pretty free. We volunteer at APA, but would love a dog at home too! We make sure to have fun with them and give them lots of love. We also always make sure that they are on the best behavior and don’t miss out on being polite around furniture and such. Movement is a big factor that we love to encourage dogs to do even if it is a little walk!
“Rebecca is amazing, above and beyond our expectations, our birdie and pug LOVE her and we're so so glad to have finally found someone who looks after our babies in the same way we would! She really has us wondering why we had not found her sooner!:) Amazing! And we got so many photos that were so adorable I almost cried! We would absolutely love to have Rebecca out again! Thank you!”

About: Experienced in caring for cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Hands-on experience with my own pets as well as family and friends. This is what I do full-time and therefore I am very flexible with helping where and how I am needed with your furry family member. I take my dog for a walk, make sure there is plenty of fresh water, take out for frequent potty breaks and clean up after.
“Leilani did a great job taking care of our kitties. She’s friendly, personable, a great communicator and shared detailed photos. We will definitely reach out for future care!”

“Christina was amazing!! Very on top of communicating and informing me with how things were going with my cats. They seemed to warm up to her very quickly! Definitely would hire her again”

About: I've always loved dogs so much and would greatly enjoy walking my neighbors dogs when I was growing up as well as taking care of their dogs when they were out of town or needed someone to feed, walk, or take care of them. I am currently doing school online, so I am available most of the time almost every single day of the week and am very flexible. I care for pets in my home by making sure that they have a comfortable environment surrounding them as well as a place to play, sleep, eat, or just relax in.
About: I grew up with several dogs and cats in the family home. I have raised and trained a Doberman, so I know what it takes to teach them obedience and the importance of consistency. I love animals so much, they bring me so much joy. Fun fact: when I was a little girl I wanted to be a veterinarian. I feel that I have a special connection with animals; they are usually naturally drawn to me. I didn’t pursue a career as a veterinarian because I had other interests. I currently don’t have any animals because I enjoy the flexibility. I would love to take care of your animals and treat them with extra special care. I am currently working part time and would have the time to care for your pet(s) after work or on my days off. I currently work a 2-3 days a week and am available by the afternoons on the days I am working. I typically pet sit in the owners home. I find that is more comfortable for them. I am not currently able to have pets where I live.

About: I was born around Golden Retriever and my family currently has 2 Portuguese Water dogs, so I’m well prepared for the high energy pup and the frantic pups. I always take a patient perspective when it comes to the dogs and cats I care for. They are their own animals and understanding that allows them room to express themselves, so I can best care for them! I love animals and volunteer at various animal shelters to support my community. I dedicate full days each week for pet care. I make sure these days are free in case my clients need a more focused care. I work part time during the week, but am incredibly flexible which allows me to meet many pet care needs! I provide love, connection, food, water, walks, some cleaning of pet areas, etc. Whatever you would normally do for your pet I will oblige and assist you in that way
About: Got my beloved mixed rescue Sandor at the age of 14. Loved and cared for him daily until I had to move for studies. I later began dogsitting different dogs. It ranged from a 6 month old Toller to an elderly mixed Dachshund. For about 2 years I was a personal assistant to a lady with a toothless chihuahua. I also lived with and took care of a 15 year old pug for 2 months during 2022. In 2025 me and my cat Pancake moved from Sweden to America. Prior to that me and Pancake had travelled a lot together but only within Sweden so this was a big move. It went smoothly and now were here, part of a big family with 2 tiny malteses and 3 cats! All lovely rescue pets. I'm currently studying remotely. It makes me very flexible! Im new in America so I would love to get out more and do what I love. Its the perfect opportunity to help other families. I respect each pet's routine and home, and carefully follow instructions. I ensure a safe, calm environment, keep doors and windows secure. Its important to me that I monitor the pets wellbeing and comfort.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bee Cave
Tricia was so great for us and took great care of our kitties! We have a bit of a unique situation at the moment with very specific instructions and Tricia was so accommodating and caring. Will absolutely have her check in on our cats again if she is able to. Thanks again, Tricia!

Vanessa has been fantastic—this is my second time booking with her, and it won’t be the last. Cyrus absolutely loves spending time with her, which says everything. She’s always punctual, consistently provides great updates with photos, and gives thoughtful feedback after each visit. Reliable, communicative, and clearly cares—highly recommend her to anyone looking for a top-tier sitter.

Carla has taken wonderful care of Cyrus, and he absolutely adores her. It’s immediately clear that she genuinely loves animals, and that care and attention shows in everything she does. She is very trustworthy, friendly, and professional, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I’m so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
