About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years, including my own pets as well as dogs belonging to friends and family. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, basic routines, and giving dogs plenty of attention and companionship. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule throughout the week and on weekends. Since I can take my computer with me and also work from my phone, I’m able to accommodate daytime visits and spend quality time with your pets in their own home. This gives me plenty of flexibility for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship while you’re away. I care for pets in their own home where they feel safest and most comfortable. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications if needed, and any household rules. I’m respectful of both your pet and your home, and I always make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other areas are secure. Since I work remotely, I can spend plenty of time with your pet and provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

About: My name is Abigail, and I have two dachshunds names Coco and Addie. Addie is 13 years old and Coco is 12. I love my dogs and I know how stressful it feels like to have to leave your babies in someone else's care. I hope to help alleviate some of that stress and to have a good time with your pup! I am available 7 days a week for drop in visits and dog walks or trips to the park. I can also help with medication and wound care on a case by case basis. Please reach out to me if that is something you need help with! While your dogs are with me, I will give them lots of belly rubs and ear scratches, and we will have fun playing together. About: I’ve never not had pets and I’ve taken care of other people’s dogs and cats since I was 10. I will walk, feed, cuddle, bathe, and play with your pets as I would my own. Each of the individuals in my photos are beloved pets that I have taken care of over the past several years. About: I’ve basically always had a dog in my home until recently. I raised my rescue pit from about 2 to 16. Since her passing, I have dog sat for friends and coworkers, both in my home and their homes. Any age/breed is my favorite! Whether it’s a 4 month old puppy to a senior, I will give them the same care I’d give my own pet. I work full time Monday-Thursday until 5pm and am available all day Friday-Sunday. I am available to do walks after 5pm Monday-Thursday and anytime Friday-Sunday. When I’m pet sitting I typically go straight home after work and hang out with them the rest of the evening. My favorite part of the day is coming home to a happy, wiggly butt. While doing doggie day care, you can expect routine walks, couch cuddles and playtime. In a clients home, I am there to help keep that pets routine so I will care for them in whatever way you would like me to. I’m willing to take them on walks, run around in the yard or even go on doggie play dates if they are accustomed to that. In my own home, I do live in an apartment but I have a dog park and I typically take them on walks every 4 hours or as needed. They are also allowed to sleep in my bed or feel free to bring their own. No need to be crate trained but preferred if they tend to be destructive at times. I also live close to Zilker Park if they enjoy going for walks at the trail!

Mara was great with our cats from the moment she arrived for the meet and greet. Both cats were friendly with her on day one, which isn’t typical for our cats. One or both of them usually takes a moment to warm up to new people. That put me at ease right away. I appreciated how thorough she was in asking questions to understand our cats’ needs while we were out of town. We were gone for two weeks, and Mara dropped in each day and stayed a few nights. When we came home, our cats were happy and healthy, and our home was well maintained. She even offered to water our plants while we were away, so those were happy and healthy when we returned as well! We’d absolutely book with Mara again. She gave us peace of mind while we were away from home so we could enjoy our time with family and be present.
Kali accepted a last minute request for sitting my 2 elderly Great Danes and she was excellent. She fed them, played with them, sent me excellent reports on their activities and conditions. Additionally, she did some cleanup and although she didn’t mention it, I’m sure it was significant (Great Danes - need I say more?). I will happily use her again.
Karla was an absolute lifesaver when I had a busy work week and my fiancé was out of town. She was so easy going, she never had any issue with my ever changing requests or our elaborate remote home entry set up. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
