Information Whitney S. would like to know about your pet

Please share: • Breed and age • Temperament - are they anxious in new settings, are they food motivated (do they counter surf or enjoy raiding the trash bin), how do they interact with other dogs and people, etc. • Any health or medical needs they have - allergies, medications, etc. • Feeding routine - what type of food they eat, how much, and any special preferences or restrictions. • Normal routines for walking, sleeping, etc. • Household rules you'd like me / them to follow - where they’re allowed, specific commands, etc. I should have everything that they need but you are more than welcome to bring anything to make them most comfortable with being in a new home (toys, beds, blankets, bowls, etc.)

A typical day

For boarding and house sitting clients, we will walk 3 times per day (morning, afternoon, and evening) for an estimated 20 minutes per walk. All walks are weather dependent (walks may be limited to morning and evening in the Summer months when it is over 90 degrees). I'm happy to customize activities based on your dog's normal routine, needs, and energy level.

I love a long walk!

Pet care experience

My dog, Bailey, passed away in February 2025 but I can't imagine my life without dogs! I aim to provide a loving and safe environment for pets while their family is away. I have experience with drop ins, dog walking, boarding dogs in my home, and house / pet sitting (including cats). I live in an apartment with a small yard attached. The apartment complex also has a dog park if your pet likes to play with others! A good fit for this home is a dog who is: • House trained • Leash trained • Gentle in their play • Crate trained (I do not regularly use a crate, however, it can be required in emergencies) Please note if you are a boarding or house sitting client, I may be away from the home during your pet’s stay for drop in and/or dog walking clients. I will never be gone longer than 2-4 hours unless it’s an emergency.

Whitney helped us out with our dog while we were out all day at a family reunion. She was professional, thoughtful and sent us information every time she came over. Gave me peace of mind and I was able to be present with my family all day.

I can't say enough great things about Whitney. This is the second time she has watched our dogs, this time for 3 weeks. She is incredibly professional, kind, dependable, communicative, and our dogs love her--what more can you ask for? Our vacation was so much more enjoyable with the peace of mind that our dogs were in such capable hands, and her photo updates were always a highlight of our day. She also left our house absolutely spotless, which was such a treat to come home to. I Would book with her any time!

Whitney is always trustworthy, communicative and reliable. Or go to person every time whether it’s for a drop-in, walks or an overnight.

We love Whitney! Benny is not the most comfortable with new people and Whitney was so patient and easily able to win him over!
