Pet care experience
I love a long walk!
My dog, Bailey, passed away in February 2025 but I can't imagine my life without dogs! I aim to provide a loving and safe environment for pets while their family is away. I have experience with drop ins, dog walking, boarding dogs in my home, and house / pet sitting (including cats). I live in an apartment with a small yard attached. The apartment complex also has a dog park if your pet likes to play with others! A good fit for this home is a dog who is: • House trained • Leash trained • Gentle in their play • Crate trained (I do not regularly use a crate, however, it can be required in emergencies) Please note if you are a boarding or house sitting client, I may be away from the home during your pet’s stay for drop in and/or dog walking clients. I will never be gone longer than 2-4 hours unless it’s an emergency.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I do not mix pets from different families and I do not allow interaction with any dogs outside the home unless specifically asked or approved by the owner. I have a large dog crate that can be used for your dog if needed while I'm away. I also have a dog bed and lots of toys to ensure your dog is comfortable and entertained.
Ratings and reviews
Whitney helped us out with our dog while we were out all day at a family reunion. She was professional, thoughtful and sent us information every time she came over. Gave me peace of mind and I was able to be present with my family all day.

I can't say enough great things about Whitney. This is the second time she has watched our dogs, this time for 3 weeks. She is incredibly professional, kind, dependable, communicative, and our dogs love her--what more can you ask for? Our vacation was so much more enjoyable with the peace of mind that our dogs were in such capable hands, and her photo updates were always a highlight of our day. She also left our house absolutely spotless, which was such a treat to come home to. I Would book with her any time!

Whitney is always trustworthy, communicative and reliable. Or go to person every time whether it’s for a drop-in, walks or an overnight.

We love Whitney! Benny is not the most comfortable with new people and Whitney was so patient and easily able to win him over!

We truly enjoyed having Whitney pet-sit our pup in our home while we traveled out of the country. She is an incredibly responsible pet sitter with a calm, reassuring personality that helped ease our anxious pup during the first few days we were away. Our dog usually barks at new people, but she was completely comfortable with Whitney from the start and wasn’t reactive during either of the two meet-and-greets. That gave us so much peace of mind before our trip. We will absolutely use Whitney again in the future. Thank you, Whitney!

Whitney is our go-to every time. So reliable and communicates so well.

Schedule
We will enjoy daily walks and / or the dog park depending on your pet's temperament and needs. I work full time from home but have enough flexibility to work in trips to the dog park and walks. My apartment also has a small yard attached to be used for potty breaks, playtime, and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine!

- Please share: • Breed and age • Temperament - are they anxious in new settings, are they food motivated (do they counter surf or enjoy raiding the trash bin), how do they interact with other dogs and people, etc. • Any health or medical needs they have - allergies, medications, etc. • Feeding routine - what type of food they eat, how much, and any special preferences or restrictions. • Normal routines for walking, sleeping, etc. • Household rules you'd like me / them to follow - where they’re allowed, specific commands, etc. I should have everything that they need but you are more than welcome to bring anything to make them most comfortable with being in a new home (toys, beds, blankets, bowls, etc.)
